Talk:Suzy the Tapir
Final things to address
Yo. Nitpick time. Bear with us! After this is addressed/acknowledged, somebody will come along and lay on the admin stamp, and you'll be done.
- Give grammar and spelling a second peek: There are several instances of random capitalization, sentence fragments and run-ons, homophones (usage of "then" vs. "than," "do" vs. "due," etc.—don't trust spell-check implicitly), and things that are uncertain (e.g. What is "Exd"?)
- Trim/Condense: As the template text said, please don't be utterly exhaustive with the "skills/abilities" list. The only reason we nitpick on this is because the quickbio should be for quickest possible conveyance of facts, and generally only very important ones.
- For example, the first three bullet points could be reduced to one concise one, just saying something like, "Experienced brawler trained in jujitsu and kickboxing." Same might be doable for other things, like senses (hearing and smell), and so on.
- Star ratings: The ratings you picked are good, and don't need to change, so rock on, mission success. But, it would be good if you could give a number for her speed (at 1.5 stars it'd be either 40, 50, or 60 MPH), and be aware of one thing: 4-star strength, though utterly immense, won't give her ye olde DC Amazonian strength, so as according to the star rating article, she's not going to be hurling "large boulders" unless you can justify moving her to a higher rating.
And lastly, something that is not a problem, but just something I want to make sure you are aware of: I know you wanted her to be large, but for a Sonic character, she borders on huge, and dwarfs virtually all other characters in the cast except Vector and Big. If this is your intent, then carry on. I just didn't want you to be alarmed by the realization later, if it wasn't what you intended. (Sonic character height and weight can be a tenuous thing, I know.)
... Oh, and lastly, you have a motorcycle listed under her "carried" items. Heheh. (Feel free to add a "Vehicle" section down in the Trivia area, if you like.)
One last thing: If you want help proofreading and correcting grammar stuff, it's no big deal at all. I would go ahead and fix it instead of point it out, but I know some people are offended by uninvited help (especially as it pertains to writing), so I refrained. If you want it, though, I love to help.
