General Info

Tabitha King is energetic, idealistic, vibrant, outgoing, and passionate to a fault. Amiable to the point of questionable judgement, she is the type to strike up conversation with random strangers, befriend just about anyone, and forgive practically anything. She's nothing if not earnest in all she does, and an eager problem-solver with a tendency go out of her way to help someone in need, whether or not they want it. This is the way most know her today, but it wasn't always so.

As a child, Tabby (a sand cat, thank you very much) was an ill-tempered, morose and sullen lump of a little girl, begrudged by her peers for her incessant nay-saying, spoil-sporting, party-pooping, and parade-raining. Until one fateful day...

Our perception and attitude toward any situation will determine the outcome.

She got that in a fortune cookie, and it changed her life forever.

...

No, seriously. She turned around 180°, and literally took off running.

Now positive and upbeat, when she sets out to do something, it's never approached tepidly, always with the sort of bubbly enthusiasm that can be either infectious or irritating, depending on who you are. She unapologetically believes in standing up for what's right, and not only the difference one person can make in doing so, but the obligation to do so.

It's perhaps that sort of stubborn, rose-tinted view of the world that conspicuously flags her as ignorant at worst and naive at best. While she certainly can be gullible at times, she isn't stupid; it's more that she believes attitude is MVP to outcome. Because of this, she's almost always sunny in demeanor, and will inevitably be the first to point out bright sides and silver linings. This isn't to say, though, that she never gets upset—just that she doesn't remain so long, and isn't one to hold onto grudges or carry baggage.

Though she may ruffle a few feathers with her zeal, Tabby is a genuine rarity: Selfless, compassionate, and kind, she possesses a strong-willed, spirited drive to make a difference and have fun doing it, regardless of the eyes it rolls.

Ability Info

One might never have suspected a grumpy overweight kid to take such an intense and sudden love to running, but that's pretty much the nuts and bolts of the story. Fast forward several years, when ground-level tracks became too ho-hum, and the rest, as they say, is history. Today, long and lean, with energy to spare, and whatever the exact opposite of acrophobia is (acrophilia?), Tabitha sees the city as her personal jungle gym. Her split-second reflexes and remarkable agility allow her to accomplish amazing feats of acrobatics, including, among other things, flips in just about any direction, wall jumps and kicks, and running straight up vertical surfaces (for short dashes).

With considerable upper body strength (she can easily mount a ledge from fully extended arms with little apparent effort, and get some airtime doing it) and and a highly resourceful imagination, the possibilities stretch far beyond the sprawling Spring City skyline. Everything is scalable; anything can be navigated. While one might think that such a combination of talents would make for a force to be reckoned with, one would be... utterly un-verifiable. Tabby prefers flight to fight any day of the week.

Of course, being good at running away has its perks. As her previously harmless doodling has recently taken up a more public venue on building sides, walls, and billboards, some seem to take issue with what they call "defacing public property;" she calls it "fighting the good fight."
