Carried items	Tails doesn't often carry much, most of his practical inventions remain back in his workshop, and can be used when needed.
Ability Ratings
Agility	Skimming with his toes dragging along the ground, using his tails for propulsion, he probably tops out at somewhere near 300MPH. Fast-footed, a little acrobatic (or maybe aerobatic is a better word) and capable of powerful flight using his two tails.
Strength	He's small, and the majority of his strength is in his tails, so there's not much to be spoken of regarding his arms.
Toughness	Tails isn't a sissy, and you need to be prepared if you're going to hang with the likes of Sonic, but it has to be said that he's a kid, and a highly academic one at that. He's at least pretty flexible.
Energy	He once carried Sonic for about a half a dozen kilometers, under attack.

General Info

He's bright, he's chirpy, he's spunky, and he owns his own workshop and airplane. He's quite possibly one of the smartest people in the world. He builds stuff, he programs stuff, he may be able to make julienne fries—There's not a lot he can't do.

He's been running or flying or driving beside Sonic for a little while now, tagging along doggedly most everywhere the hedgehog goes. Their personalities are very nearly totally opposite from each other--Tails is studious and determined when he's not bright and cheerful, and Sonic's temperament is, well, Sonic.

In spite of this, Tails has been very nearly inseparable from Sonic since they met. He's inherited a lot from the hedgehog; from a fairly shaky start he's caught onto Sonic's courage, adventurous spirit, and pretty much everything else that the hedgehog's left behind him, including an old biplane that the young fox has painstakingly deconstructed and reconstructed again in new, blue, shining glory with at least 20,000 or so more pounds of thrust and several dozen hidden weapons. Since then, he's created two more in that line of the plane—dubbed the Tornado—the newest of which can sprout legs and turn into a car, even if not all at the same time.

This is in fact his line of work. Tails has accumulated a mass of mechanical parts and raw materials from who knows where (The suspicious general absence of many robotic remains after one of Sonic's battles betray no secrets.), and he has built, in the past, submarines, chaos energy detectors, planes, transforming robots, and very nearly anything you could ever think of past the level of, say, a coffee maker.

Ability Info

Tails is not a noteworthy athlete or fighter, but with his two tails, he can fly. He can lift other people of often stupendous weights compared to his own for surprising lengths of time, plus, his tails can be whipped to good effect as a means of assault. Pretty much everything athletic about him is owed to his tails (save perhaps his jumping, which he's excellent at even without their help), even his speed. Once he gets going and reaches his maximum running speed, he can throw his body forward, and use his tails like a propeller behind him to zoom along just above the ground at incredible speeds.

Perhaps the only reason he's been able to get to know Sonic so well is just because he is so adept at keeping up. Head-on fighting isn't his forté, however, so when Sonic isn't handling that, Tails is usually resorting to raw firepower from his machines and various devices to get the job done, and make no mistake, he's not afraid to get a little gunsmoke in the air, make some explosions, and start some fires if it's necessary to clear out Eggman's robotic menaces.
