Main original characters
These are characters with fully detailed and completed character profiles, presented in order of appearance. [1]
Jam doesn't have much to say that she wouldn't prefer to show instead, and when she is reduced to conversation, she has a tendency to be rather syllabicly tight-fisted. In the prevailing majority of social settings, that leaves her with a propensity to stare distantly at best, or glare in silence at worst. It's the norm, but not necessarily the constant though, as certain specific company elicits a slightly broader range of emotion, adding to her repertoire of indifference impish grins, electrified fists, and the full, colorful spectrum in between if specially provoked.
An unpredictable simian with very few fears. He's way smarter than he sometimes lets on, and doesn't pull any punches; "difficult to get along with" is putting it lightly. Though well-accomplished for his age, little is known about him beyond his short-lived career in the space program. Even those closest to him seldom know what he's really up to in any given moment, but they do know one thing: whatever task he sets his mind to, he finishes it with no compromises.
An iron-willed Capsule Trooper commander. His knightly code of honor and aloof demeanor belie a violent and bothersome past he hasn’t quite come to terms with. Despite a tendency to be cold and supercilious, he's not totally rough around the edges and can even seem a decent and cultivated guy, though these notions depend entirely on who is asked. With a voracious appetite for battle, however, anywhere he goes gets just a bit more perilous with him around.
This eccentric superhero is, at times, a bit hard to swallow with his overwhelming need to pose and monologue. He can sometimes be somewhat spiny and egotistical, but at the end of the day he is a loyal comrade ... to Dr. Eggman? Hey, what happened to Wild Badge?!
A resident of Central City and a EX Gear hobbyist, Geoff's a hard-to-get-to-know kind of guy, but is a very friendly companion otherwise. Having a short temper and slight stubbornness, he truly is a kind and trustworthy person when it comes down to it.
A bit goofy, a lot clumsy, and a ton fun-loving, Mako is a tremendously easy to get along with individual. Always on the lookout for cool new things to poke with a stick or someone new to make friends with, the shark wants to squeeze all he can out of the world. Laid-back and hard to get going, it's wise to let him stay wound down. Though cripplingly clumsy on land thanks to his bulky tail, he's nearly unmatched for capability under the water.
This tough and tumble cowpoke is sheriff of the Yellow Desert. Jack's good at thinking on her feet and is always quick to react to problems and situations. Her upholding of the law comes second only to her belief that under no circumstances is taking a life necessary. The Sheriff operates completely without fear, in battle and in day-to-day activity. She can come off as a bit reckless at times, but it's only because she has a burning desire to help others.
Looks aren't always a good way to judge a person. Such is the case with Ember. On the outside, she seems like a level-headed girl, but really, she's a bit of a screwball who has trouble focusing on one thing at a time, and a total pyromaniac who enjoys watching things burn. |
More original characters
The following are characters are fully approved and used in the story, but have not-yet-complete profiles, or are not their players' primary characters. This list is also in order of first appearance.
Your friendly neighborhood seagoing robber, Ivan is a pirate in the most theatrical sense of the word. Accent, and love for ale included. He even has a tendency to take what he wants with no regard for who it belongs to. That said, he's a surprisingly good ally to have at your side, and rest assured, he doesn't steal from people he's deemed as friends.

A talented and kindhearted hover-board racer from the quaint outskirts of Emerald Town. Out to live life to the fullest, there’s little he won’t do to inject some excitement into his life, even to the point of reckless behavior. A bit of a showoff, he enjoys a carefree and adventurous lifestyle, constantly wringing the last drop of joy out of every moment. He’s seldom seen apart from his mischievous chao look-alike, Kyle.
Mad, bad, and dangerous to know, Murdoch is not a man to cross. He holds no loyalties, no biases, and no concern for anything that isn't himself, money, or food; that, crossed with a perfect willingness to fight dirty and great strength make the Tasmanian Devil formidable, dangerous, and definitely with a bite to match his bark.
Possessing a keen mind and devastating physical might, the training to wield it, and a complete lack of pity, Tracer is the perfect solider. Too bad she stopped taking orders. The llama has no tolerance for other people, ally or otherwise; she often finds bullets a quick and easy solution to life's every problem. A silent enigma wrapped in violence and destruction, Tracer is in no uncertain terms dangerous and easily provoked.
With expert marksmanship, and an arsenal of unique arrowheads for nearly any occasion, Archer is full of surprises and looking out for #1. While he can be useful asset to any team, it's important to keep him at arms length, because he cannot be trusted. Plain and simple.

Rodolf is a steadfast, if somewhat gruff, hero. Armed with an unshakable sense of morality, powerful intuition, and almost single-minded focus on acting on these, the unicorn can be a bit hard to work with. This is primarily because he's really bad at communicating his plans, instead choosing to change his course of action on the fly instead of wasting time. For all he may seem impulsive and even unpredictable, at heart he's solidly bound by what he feels is his duty; that is, to pursue justice... even if he sometimes has to be a bit hypocritical to do it.

Tabitha isn't nearly as pretentious as her resume would make her sound. Sure, she's a hopeless romantic who runs for fun, works with the homeless, and doesn't eat meat, but unless one is just perpetually bothered by pep and optimism, it's hard to rationally hate the chipper sandcat. Earnestly altruistic in all she does, the free-spirited free-runner simply loves life, and is more than willing to spend some of her seemingly boundless energy helping others to do the same.

A simple young porter from the small village of Bhatguri, nestled in the world-famous Qomolangma mountains in Chun-Nan, Latika is a physically slow but very bright girl with a passion for Western culture, and a voracious appetite for reading. Having only recently left her small hometown for the first time very recently, she's very niave about the way the outside world works, but is eager to learn as much about it as possible.

Labelled for your convenience, Pilot is, in fact, a pilot from way on up in Starlight City. Strong-willed and sociable, he runs deliveries with his floatplane-- one might get the impression that he's most at home when he's in the air. Pi is through and through the "average dude'-- but he's never content just to be the innocent bystander.
Babysitter-turned-adventurer with a strong dash of mechanical tinkerer, Scout accompanies Pilot on his travels as partner and engineer-in-training (or at least that's how she sees it). Friendly if a bit blunt at times, her goal is to always be entertained and have something to keep her active mind occupied. That something more often than not manifests itself in helping and looking after others- once a babysitter, always a babysitter, right? |
Minor characters
These are characters who are featured less, may or may not have fully completed character profiles, etc.—NPC-like in nature, but still belong to a specific player. Other characters with only small descriptions (such as most "NPC" characters) can be found on the Minor Characters/NPCs page.
A criminal mastermind wannabe who's really just a pathetic excuse for a petty thug, Juke has big dreams, but small means. Corny, crude, and melodramatic, he makes a spectacle of just about everything he does, and seems to manage to get beat up at least once a week. Somehow, his ego is never wounded by any of this, and remains healthy and huge no matter how much he fails.
Midian is a former park warden from far-away Mazuri. An outdoorsman and general nature lover, he has long dedicated himself to the preservation of the land and protection of those who live and work on it, employed as a public servant to defend the wild from the people, and the people from the wild. Circumstances have since changed, though, and he now has something much more important to work toward before he can worry about the reserve again. |
