Main Official Characters
These are characters with fully detailed and completed character profiles, presented (roughly) in the order they appeared in the series timeline.
The world's favorite hero, and its fastest, Sonic the Hedgehog needs little introduction. Free-spirited and fleet of foot, Sonic moves like the wind (literally!) wherever he pleases, and doesn't let anyone stand in his way. He can be a little harsh-spoken sometimes, but he's quick to rush to the aid of others whenever there's trouble, and has a very strong sense of justice. However, he isn't above having a little reckless (or even chaotic) fun in his never-ending battle with his nemesis and rival, Dr. Eggman, sometimes at the expense of peace and public property. Still, when things get serious, Sonic does too, and he always tries his hardest to do what's right. | ||

Bold, brash and larger than life, Vector is the industrious owner of the Chaotix Detective Agency. Vector enjoys the simple things in life, such as good (loud) music, good (large-portioned) food, and good (weird) company, and tries to pay for the maintenance of all these things by taking whatever jobs he and his associates can scrounge up. While this carefree attitude towards clientèle has gotten the team in hot water on a couple occasions, Vector is not an intentionally a shady person. Despite the dollar signs clouding his eyes, he is at heart a kind soul, steadfast companion, and an overachiever to boot; he's just usually out of a job. | ||
