General Green

Name CT-E 02 "General Green"
Series Capsule Trooper Elite
Height 130 cm
Weight ~175 kg (depending on equipment)
Energy source Chaos Drive (3)
Armaments
  • Single-edged heat scimitar (draws power from Green's internal energy sources)
  • Frequently brandishes other weaponry as needed (warhammers, electrolasers, battleaxes, miniguns, the usual)
Other features / equipment
  • Sapient behavior and thought processes enabled by his advanced "Intellidrive" intelligence core
  • Miniaturized magnetoplasma fusion-capable rockets (2 per leg, 2 on back; hydrogen fueled, Chaos Drive powered)
  • Highly efficient hydrogen storage units (porous carbon nanotube clusters, installed in back-mounted thruster pack)
  • Hydrogen fuel production unit (extracts hydrogen from water via electrolysis, albeit at a limited rate, with a great deal of energy consumption)
  • Chaos-Control-capable (with delay), like many CTs
Ability Ratings
Agility

9.5star.png
Capable of speeds up to nearly 300 MPH in full-power flight (90MPH on the ground) with good acceleration (for his weight, anyway) and highly acrobatic maneuverability. All that weight doesn't help with high-speed braking, though. Sinks like a brick in water, too.

Strength

6star.png
Though his raw lifting strength is only at an average, athletic level, he has a lot of weight to throw around.

Toughness

6.5star.png
Extremely resistant to small arms fire, equipped with easily-replaced, bullet-resistant, ceramic composite plate armor (though acute weakpoints do exist). Moderately fire resistant; insulated against EMP; operates well in adverse conditions, including outer space. Durable versus blunt impacts up to a certain threshold.

Energy

10star.png
Does not need recharging thanks to his Chaos Drive power supply, and can perform a great deal of self-repair. Never really gets "tired," though he is more likely to suffer catastrophic power failures than normal Capsule Troopers owing to his advanced (and power-hungry) propulsion system, so he must manage his energy carefully and avoid protracted aerial battles.

General Info

The second-built of two elite Capsule Trooper units, General Green was constructed for a singular purpose: war. As such, for the grand part of his existence, only a handful of things occupied his attention, boiling down to blowing things up, exacting vengeance on enemies, and studying up on various and fun ways to make living things feel the most horrendous pain possible. To say this warped him is an understatement: for a long stretch of time he delighted in the misery of organics (he put the "fun" back in "funeral") and harbored a dogmatic hatred of all biological beings--some of the things he attempted to do would make history books portray him as less a robot and more a monster.

Eventually, however, thanks to a friend or two, he managed to stem his barbaric tendencies and become significantly more... civilized. It's kind of a work-in-progress, as he still revels in combat (he and the soldiers under him will, quite literally and happily, fight anything), but he's a lot better than he used to be.

As a result of his further exposure to the world, he has made an effort to simply learn and discover. While military strategy and battle still may be near the forefront of his focus, the idea of being well-rounded appealed to him (it's hard to have any kind of deep discussion when most of your knowledge involves how many bullets it takes to get to the center of a feline), so he's become a bit more cultivated than he used to be. He possesses an almost "knightly" code of sorts, driving himself to abide by it as best he can, lest he return to what he once was. Additionally, subjects like history and philosophy actually don't make him want to shut down now. At the same time, though, change is a difficult thing to instill in oneself, and so he can very easily revert to a brutal, explosion-obsessed war machine if the inclination takes him. Suffice it to say that this (along with a demeanor that, while usually cool if rather aloof and stand-offish, seems to forever suppress something terrible), makes him thoroughly unappealing to most of society. For him, friends are a difficult thing to come by, but that's the life he's chosen, and he has enough already to make up for all the ones he never had.

Ability Info

Green's internal makeup is largely the same as your standard Capsule Trooper, though several significant design differences are present. His outer armor components are a mish-mash of durable CT Elite and CT plating, as well as other tough substances he's had installed on the side through his journeys. Additionally, he was originally built with a focus on quickness in mind, so he weighs a bit less than the standard CT and his plasma rockets make him much faster and more agile than one as well. At the same time, though, his tough frame also harbors a bit more strength than the typical CT, so in short, he's basically everything one would expect of an elite Capsule Trooper unit: something that, while comparable to the original design, is overall some levels higher than the rest of the ranks.

What really makes the difference between Green and other CTs--and perhaps other people in general, not just robots--is the knowledge he takes into combat. He's seen a lot of battle with a lot of tough opponents, enough to ensure that any tussle with him could prove a potentially devastating affair. He has no set style of combat; his methods, whether fighting with or without a weapon, are meant to be efficient, whether he's in the mood to slowly wear someone down or to finish it fast and furiously. Perhaps the most important thing, though, is that despite his personal code of honor, he is ever the callous warrior, and he is not above sheer acts of cruelty and mercilessness if the idea strikes his fancy. Such instances are rarer than in days past, but Green is a veritable warlord, and for such people, survival of the strongest is paramount, so this trait is unlikely to change.

Miscellanea

Trivia

  • Designer / builder: The Imperial Xol Army
  • Allies: Rock, Jam, a loyal force of Capsule Troopers under his command
  • Enemies: None, at the moment--someone like him is bound to gain a foe or two at a moment's notice.
  • Favorite color: What else could it be?
  • Likes: Blowing stuff up, shooting things, playing with napalm, hitting things with a sword/axe/random object not meant to be a weapon, etcetera. On a polar opposite note, he has a thing for reading for both leisure and learning. Additionally, he likes collecting certain things (see Trivia).
  • Dislikes: Robot stereotypes, teenagers on Chaos Emerald-related adventures, Dizzy on occasion
  • Character theme: The Silent Comedy - Bartholomew
  • Other trivia:
    • He's made attempts at playing guitar, but his lack of muscle memory capability makes this an excruciatingly frustrating affair. Doesn't stop him from trying though. He's been more successful at the piano and pipe organ though (the latter of which is played purely for the obvious stigma of a deathbot playing certain songs).
    • Though he won't mention it unless asked, he's a strong proponent of equal rights for all species, considering some of the anti-robot sentiments he and his men have received in the past. He doesn't outwardly take extreme offense to people who go "beep beep boop" in his face, however. He lets hospital bills do the talking.
    • Some people collect stamps. Green collects weapons. If it's a weapon he can hold in his hands, he'll take it, no matter what it does or how useful or useless it is. Entire rooms at his base are devoted to housing them, and odds are, he's used all of them at least once.
    • He also enjoys collecting trinkets or souvenirs from... places he's been. These can be any manner of thing, if the study in his base is any indication, including a bizarre animal skull with three big horns on the snout, a small green jewel that vaguely resembles a Chaos Emerald, a wilted rose (?), a baseball signed by Velo Wilder (who misspelled his own name, so obviously this makes it worth more), a small golden triangle that shines with a soft light (he will not discuss this one's origins if asked), and so on. Suffice it to say he's been around.
