| G.U.N., also known as the Guardian Units of Nations, is an international peacekeeping organization. G.U.N. primarily concerns itself with defending the people of the world from Dr. Eggman and other high-profile threats, though it isn't without controversy and scandal of its own. | The Eggman Empire stands as an ever-present menace to the world at large. Though the true, world-spanning "empire" has been dissolved, the doctor's crazy dream of a self-glorifying capital, Eggmanland, finally came to fruition smack in the heart of Central City, where he continues to reign. | Chimera is a recently-formed paramilitary organization utilizing commandeered assets from the former Eggman Empire. Its shadowy leadership is at the center of international controversy for its sudden domineering role on the political stage and ongoing conflict with G.U.N. and the UF. | |||

| Specialization:
G.U.N. utilizes conventional ground, naval, and air forces, augmented by autonomous combat drones and robotic "walker" armored vehicles. It has operated in space in a limited capacity, and has made major forays into airship technology, but has experienced large setbacks in all aerospace fields due to Chimera. |
Specialization:
Dr. Eggman values innovative, quirky approaches to combat, almost entirely reliant upon robots and vast airships. His operations know no bounds, and he is especially adept at creating combat units for inhospitable environments, such as underground, underwater, in outer space, or even in the magma and lava flows of active volcanoes. |
Specialization:
With forces largely comprised of former EE assets, Chimera holds many similarities to the Eggman Empire, though it has placed its focus on mobility and absolute aerospace dominance, with an impregnable foothold established in Earth orbit, vast airship fleets controlling global airspace, and more airships under construction. | |||
