Chaos Drive

Chaos Drives are extremely potent chaos energy sources derived from Chaos Emeralds. This technology was a product of Prof. Gerald Robotnik's Project Shadow research, and was used to create artificial lifeforms such as Shadow the Hedgehog, the Biolizard, and Artificial Chaos.

Like the Chaos Emeralds, Chaos Drives defy conventional understanding of thermodynamics, the conservation of energy, etc., and perpetually provide "infinite" energy. That is to say, a Chaos Drive is unlike a battery, and will never run out of power. However, they lack the sheer output of Chaos Emeralds.

Project Shadow ended over 50 years ago, but Chaos Drive technology continues to be used as a source of electric power for many applications, mostly by GUN. Chaos Drives are usually not available to the general public, though it isn't uncommon for astute adventurers and treasure hunters find them here and there, owing to the large number of GUN robots that have been destroyed in recent battles.

Chaos Drives come in four flavors colors: Green , red , purple , and yellow .
