General Info

Though various social media accounts date Cause for Alarm (or CfA! to the initiated) back several years, precious few seem to have any knowledge of their existence prior to the fall of the Eggman Empire.

They practiced out of lead guitarist Shane's home (which is more a converted amateur sound studio than actual living quarters), and played small, local clubs and venues, but often had trouble marketing themselves to any specific niche, due to the individual bandmembers' vastly spanning tastes, and Jam's laissez faire style of musical direction. Despite this, their talent wasn't entirely lost in their sea of dissonant tastes; at one point, they had a very small, two-person grassroots street team. With a sudden windfall of cash, or luck, or both, however, they finally seem to have gotten their big shot, with a widely publicized tour, and, pending the success of the former, potential label signing.

• CfA's repertoire, boasting both covers and self-penned songs includes:

  • Foreplay/Longtime - Jam frequently jokes that they can pull this out for Shane and Jared to start in case anyone else has to go to the bathroom or get a snack mid-set. It is almost invariably followed by:
  • Peace of Mind
• Lead vocal duty, largely dependent on the specific song, is usually split between Jared, Shane, and Jam, on a 50-30-20 approximation, although Boogie has a favorite song or two that he insists on driving.
