The following is a list of accepted original (fanmade) characters. For a list of official characters, click here.

Main original characters

These are characters with fully detailed and completed character profiles, presented in order of appearance. [1]

Jam

Leftcap.pngSpecial-half.pngSpeed-half.pngRightcap.png

Very much a WYSiWYG kind of person, this temperamental monkey leaves little to the imagination. If you do something stupid, funny, irritating or otherwise notable in her presence, you'll be the first to know, and she's not one to sugarcoat, either. Even when mum (a rarity), her sentiments and thoughts tend to read like an open large-print book. While that certainly projects the image of a very shallow pond, she is if nothing else sincere in all she says, for better or for worse.

Ace the Alley Cat
File:Acethumb.jpg
Leftcap.pngSpecial-full.pngRightcap.png

An outsider from the mean streets of Westside Island who relatively recently moved to South Island with his girlfriend Caz in an effort to find a life worth living. He's streetwise, resourceful, and not afraid to break a few rules. His ego and rather roguish sense of humor can sometimes hide an underlying sense of optimism, and nigh unbreakable will.

Rock
Rockthumb.png
Leftcap.pngBalance-half.pngTechnical-half.pngRightcap.png

An unpredictable simian with very few fears. He's way smarter than he sometimes lets on, and doesn't pull any punches; "difficult to get along with" is putting it lightly. Though well-accomplished for his age, little is known about him beyond his short-lived career in the space program. Even those closest to him seldom know what he's really up to in any given moment, but they do know one thing: whatever task he sets his mind to, he finishes it with no compromises.

Wild Badge
Hojithumb.gif
Leftcap.pngSpeed-half.pngSpecial-half.pngRightcap.png

This eccentric superhero is, at times, a bit hard to swallow with his overwhelming need to pose and monologue. He can sometimes be somewhat spiny and egotistical, but at the end of the day he is a loyal comrade and a pursuer of justice wherever one is needed.

Sheffer the Hedgehog
Sheffthumb.jpg
Leftcap.pngDefense-half.pngSpeed-half.pngRightcap.png

A resident of Central City and a EX Gear hobbyist, Sheffer's a hard-to-get-to-know kind of guy, but is a very friendly companion otherwise. Having a short temper and slight stubbornness, he truly is a kind and trustworthy person when it comes down to it.

Mako the Shark
MakoThumb.png
Leftcap.pngSwim-full.pngRightcap.png

A bit goofy, a lot clumsy, and a ton fun-loving, Mako is a tremendously easy to get along with individual. Always on the lookout for cool new things to poke with a stick or someone new to make friends with, the shark wants to squeeze all he can out of the world. Laid-back and hard to get going, it's wise to let him stay wound down. Though cripplingly clumsy on land thanks to his bulky tail, he's nearly unmatched for capability under the water.

Sheriff Jack
Jackthumbnail.jpg
Leftcap.pngFlight-full.pngRightcap.png

This tough and tumble cowpoke is sheriff of the Yellow Desert. Jack's good at thinking on her feet and is always quick to react to problems and situations. Her upholding of the law comes second only to her belief that under no circumstances is taking a life necessary. The Sheriff operates completely without fear, in battle and in day-to-day activity. She can come off as a bit reckless at times, but it's only because she has a burning desire to help others.

Coop
Coop150x150.jpg
Leftcap.pngFirepower-half.pngFlight-half.pngRightcap.png

The world’s least favourite hero, Coop is the man who is determined to do what no one else will admit needs doing—overturning the seat of government and liberating the world, whether they like it or not. Chaos! Revolution! Gratuitous explosions! Coop is dedicated to bring tranquility and reform, but not before he brings these three things. Possibly an extremely nice guy with nothing more than an edgy side and a noble idea, Coop is slowly creeping closer to ‘edgy’ as his goal seems to slip out of sight.

More original characters

The following are characters are fully approved and used in the story, but have not-yet-complete profiles, or are not their players' primary characters. This list is also in order of first appearance.

Ivan the Hare
Ivanthumb.jpg
Leftcap.pngSpeed-full.pngRightcap.png

Your friendly neighborhood seagoing robber, Ivan is a pirate in the most theatrical sense of the word. Accent, and love for ale included. He even has a tendency to take what he wants with no regard for who it belongs to. That said, he's a surprisingly good ally to have at your side, and rest assured, he doesn't steal from people he's deemed as friends.

Velo
Velothumb.jpg
Leftcap.pngSpeed-half.pngSwim-half.pngRightcap.png

Bigger than life and louder than the open-slung gates of hell, this obsessively competitive lizard is a prideful, fast-talking good ole boy who's so utterly unfairly gifted with raw speed and physical ability that he seemingly disproves the existence of any kind of earthly karma. Very few have the patience—or fortitude of mind and sanity—to forge any kind of friendship with him, but those who do will find a loyal (if slightly flaky) buddy to the end. When he's not showboating, he's actually a pretty decent guy.

Toby & Kyle
Tobyandkylethumb.jpg

A talented and kindhearted hover-board racer from the quaint outskirts of Emerald Town. Out to live life to the fullest, there’s little he won’t do to inject some excitement into his life, even to the point of reckless behavior. A bit of a showoff, he enjoys a carefree and adventurous lifestyle, constantly wringing the last drop of joy out of every moment. He’s seldom seen apart from his mischievous chao look-alike, Kyle.

Tank the Giant Tortoise
Tankthumb.jpg
Leftcap.pngDefense-half.pngPower-half.pngRightcap.png

Alfonso Luis Garcia Aguirre Martinez was raised to be a perfect gentleman, and he doesn’t disappoint. Outside of the ring, he is polite almost to a fault, always sure to greet others properly with a hearty handshake and maybe a pat on the back. Always one for a good joke (with a sense of humor only a charming foreigner could ever have), he’s an honest, intelligent sort who always does his best to keep his companions happy. But one shouldn't take him lightly, for by nightfall (and lately, daybreak as well,) Tank, the mild-mannered professional wrestler, becomes the infallible Power Mask, a larger-than-life crime fighter with an appetite for justice.

Juneau the Mantis
Notavailable.png

An easygoing (albeit a bit impulsive) fellow with a great deal of patience, Juneau is a globetrotting adventurer with an accomplished archaeology career. With his knack for being self-sufficient and the survival skills to back it, he's far more at home on the go in the remote wilderness or ancient ruins, though has been known to tolerate city life on occasion, be it for the odd meeting with a wealthy collector, or to indulge in his taste for good food and aged drink.

Murdoch the Tasmanian Devil
MurdochThumb.jpg
Leftcap.pngPower-full.pngRightcap.png

Mad, bad, and dangerous to know, Murdoch is not a man to cross. He holds no loyalties, no biases, and no concern for anything that isn't himself, money, or food; that, crossed with a perfect willingness to fight dirty and great strength make the Tasmanian Devil formidable, dangerous, and definitely with a bite to match his bark.

Tracer
Tracerthumb.jpg
Leftcap.pngFirepower-half.pngPower-half.pngRightcap.png

Possessing a keen mind and devastating physical might, the training to wield it, and a complete lack of pity, Tracer is the perfect solider. Too bad she stopped taking orders. The llama has no tolerance for other people, ally or otherwise; she often finds bullets a quick and easy solution to life's every problem. A silent enigma wrapped in violence and destruction, Tracer is in no uncertain terms dangerous and easily provoked.

Archer the Buck
Archerthumb.jpg
Leftcap.pngStealth-half.pngSpeed-half.pngRightcap.png

With expert marksmanship, and an arsenal of unique arrowheads for nearly any occasion, Archer is full of surprises and looking out for #1. While he can be useful asset to any team, it's important to keep him at arms length, because he cannot be trusted. Plain and simple.

Seven
Notavailable.png

A sneering, cruel, insufferably cocky youth with an inexplicable wealth of physical ability and resources at his disposal. People hated him to death—literally. As far as anyone knows, he's deader than a doornail after a final confrontation that nearly destroyed all of Westside Island. His profile remains here for posterity's sake.

Baron von Fremont
Notavailable.png

Well-mannered, even-tempered, generous, and upright, Baron Dureau von Fremont is a modern-day nobleman with a lot old-world charm—a straight-up "good guy" in pretty much every way.

Minor characters

These are characters who are featured less, may or may not have fully completed character profiles, etc.—NPC-like in nature, but still belong to a specific player. Other characters with only small descriptions (such as most "NPC" characters) can be found on the Minor Characters/NPCs page.

Caz the Mole

Dr. Henshin
Notavailable.png

The mysterious benefactor of Wild Badge, Dr. Henshin is the genius inventor of the Wild Badge suit, and the neverending supply of superhero-esque equipment the colorful warrior always has on hand. Acting as a guide, mentor, and deranged father of sorts for young Hoji, the old, eccentric moth is the wind beneath the wings of most of Wild Badge's daring escapades.

Juke the Bat
Notavailable.png

A criminal mastermind wannabe who's really just a pathetic excuse for a petty thug, Juke has big dreams, but small means. Corny, crude, and melodramatic, he makes a spectacle of just about everything he does, and seems to manage to get beat up at least once a week. Somehow, his ego is never wounded by any of this, and remains healthy and huge no matter how much he fails.

Notes

  1. By "order of appearance," we mean first appearance in a spindash.net RP story (whether this one, or SCC RP, or otherwise).
