So we're about to head to the next thread on GUN-side. We're conspicuously going to be missing some characters (such as Jack). It was going to be better explained with a collab, but that fell through. Suffice to say that the ultimate explanation is that Jack received an important call and had to bail on the team to help a friend in need.

Expect a couple more collabs to fill in the gaps between this thread and the next. From there, we'll pick up the action at Angel Island.

Correct me if I'm wrong, Ben, but...

In regards to Ivan taking this fall in the current thread, I think Ben does not want him to be helped. It's sort of an "I'll catch up with you later" kind of thing, as I think he's temporarily exiting him from the thread.

At least, this is in line with a conversation we were having before, so, if I'm wrong, lemme know. Just heading off any unwanted rescue attempts before they happen.

Alright, so the finale thread is finally up. That said, it has a particularly glaring weakness I am aware of and hope to address in my subsequent posts, that being the lack of proper scene setting in my own writing.

That is to say, if you don't know what the command center looks like from memory of chapter 4, you won't know what it looks like here. And that's just bad writing on my part. However, I had been delaying and delaying and delaying on getting this thread up and posted, even though I already had Sheff's contribution, and I didn't want to stall any longer, so I just went with what I had.

In the meantime, the chapter 4 finale may help you guys fill in some gaps. Otherwise, hopefully I'll actually put in more information next post.
