So...here's my first go at submitting a character. Hopefully he makes it through.

What is your character's name?

Give us a couple paragraphs of general info about your character. For example, what's the character's personality like? What kind of things does he or she do? Why does he or she do it? (Please don't give us your character's point-by-point life history, though.)
> R.E.G.I's name stands for Ring Emulator Generation I (one). He was built by Eggman as a prototype for ring collection, storage and delivery; one that is maneuverable, faster than large cargo drones, and could deliver rings to forces anywhere. The rings reside in his body compartment, compressed and organized in rows. When they are needed, they are delivered by opening the hatch that also serves as his mouth (the mouth does not move otherwise, even when talking). However, the stored rings do not, by any means, make him invincible. He is still vulnerable to damage, EMPs and whatever weaponry is good against robots, no matter how many rings he has in store. He is also able to fly using the huge rocket booster mounted in his tail, which is ball-jointed to bend in any direction to propel him. His energy sources are the rings kept inside of him, as a result, he has to constantly keep at least a small amount of rings within him to function normally. If any emergencies should occur, or his rings are forcbily removed, he has a backup electric battery that lasts him 5 hours in order for him to find more rings.
He was equipped with an AI program to give him decision-making functions, but he still remained under the command of his creator. However, since the Eggman Empire's fall (information given to me by psikeout), his command signal was since then disabled, and his AI program began to work on overdrive, taking in the personalities it has seen and crafting one for himself, as well as giving him conscious thought processes. R.E.G.I was never battle-hardened and was made to more or less 'heal', so outwardly, he became a kind-hearted individual, who cares for the safety and health of both biological and non-biological creatures. He does have a sense of duty and place (carried over from his time serving under Eggman), and will follow any orders given to him as long as it doesn't involve him directly harming others. His neutrality and kindness can benefit anyone who needs help, be it hero or villain.

Does your character have any skills or special abilities, a gimmick, or anything that makes it stand out as an athlete or fighter? If so, talk a little about it here. Be sure to include an explanation or origin story for anything unusual, extraordinary, or supernatural.
> R.E.G.I can charge several rings and spit them out simultaneously in a 'ring net' to incapacitate foes. Other than that, whenever he is forced to fight physically, his fighting style involves clawing, ramming and hitting people with his rocket tail.

Does your character have any purpose? (It's okay if you don't have this fully figured out yet, but all the better if your character does have an agenda or some sort of driving force to it to make it interact with other characters.)
> R.E.G.I was built with the express purpose of utilizing rings, either to heal or to use as projectile weaponry. Since his freedom from the Eggman Empire, he has since then purposed himself to help anyone in need. He is not completely free, though. His reciever is still intact, meaning if Eggman were to rebuild and start commanding his forces again, he would be susceptible.

> Yes. Even though I'm starting college, I will be around most of the time.

Do you live in or near the Americas, or elsewhere? (It may be difficult for you to participate in any of the fast-moving sessions if you're only online when the rest of the group is asleep, so we ask this just to be aware of any potential problems.)
> I live in California. I'll have to check where the rest of you are, but it should be all good.

If you have any difficulties at all, don't hesitate to grab somebody for help. The chat hasn't exactly been bumpin' lately due to a lot of people being busy with general real-life crap, but there's usually someone around in the evening. That being said, the chat is the best way to get to know folks and eventually work out a way to join in, so don't be a stranger.

Not yet approved. It would seem you used a total of 16.5 stars, which is acceptably under the limit, but in reality, when everything you list is tallied up accurately, there should be 26.5 there.
