"Well, it ain't like I wanna shoot anybody!" Casey shouted back, but still kept his gun trained on their cover. "Why don't we work somethin' out here, huh? I don't think any'a us ever meant to get up in your business, so why're you here comin' after us?"

He leered with head held high, squinting and searching for any sign of movement. He didn't want to get caught off-guard by any sneaky-business from the stealthy archery-master.

"I just wanted to check on my buddy, Rocky," He replied matter-of-factly from behind cover.

"Looks like everything checks out."

The mouse seemed a bit shook up when Archer suddenly yanked him behind cover, though he muttered no protest or complaint sans a grumble when he nearly lost his grip on the mirror. He seemed to be feeling quite bold, as he briefly lifted his head and peered over the top to see just how quickly "Rocky" and the spear-wielder--"Pokey" he supposed he could call him--were closing in.

"Yes, seems 'Rocky' is just fine," he said, quickly ducking again when he glimpsed the machine gun-toting pig. "Perhaps we should take their advice and vacate the premises quickly," he softly said to his deer compatriot. The suit glanced down at the floor and with a hint of concern in his voice, he continued, "I think I heard something downstairs. Very faint, but I think it was the kind of sound you hear when things aren't working as planned. You did inject the cat with the numbing agent...correct?"

The wolverine was...awe-struck, it seemed. A robot just exploded and sent another robot(?) through a wall and...another wall and a floor? Before she had time to try to clear the path and pursue through the hospital's new doorways, the llama was smashing through the floor on the other side of the room.

This was getting crazy. With an irate mumble, she reached into the rubble and pulled out...something that used to be a structural support, probably, but was now just a crooked metal rod with a bit of concrete stuck at the end. Likely not much better than the fire extinguisher, but she didn't exactly have time to scrounge around for something better.

Now she only had the problem of attacking the crazy orange armored thing that could smash through building infrastructure like a wrecking ball.

"I didn't think this through 'nough," she mumbled as she ran across the room, working her way between scattered chairs and tables as she tried to catch up.

With at least someone safe, Ember focused on the raging tank that was the problem at hand. Clenching her fist, she let it alight into flames. There wasn't much she could do other than give the llama a headache. Or at least try too.

At least the wolverine seemed to have to right idea with something to hit with. Actually, that could be an idea.

Coming up beside the stranger, she stepped in front of her to hopefully stop her. Or at least give her some time to talk.

"Okay hey there I'm Ember whatever", she spoke in a rushed tone, firey hand a bit too close, "We both hate the tank thing so here's a plan."

Her voice dropped down, though with the noise from Tracer it wasn't very needed, "I'll distract her and you um-hit her I guess. Hit her real hard okay?

"Maybe I'll do it for you!" spat the serval in spite, around the time Tracer crashed through the second wall. And though he didn't express it out loud, a brow was cocked at exactly how far she did go. Maybe her armor wasn't all it was cracked up to be. Or maybe that pod of goop packed a little extra punch than was advertised. But either way, Ace was too satisfied with the apparent results to take them into suspicion.

...Until the ground exploded from underneath him.

She had him dead to rights, but he couldn't help but recoil in the milliseconds between the collapsing of the floor and the punch itself. Regardless, the full power of her attack went almost exactly as it should've-- poor old Danny suddenly had a fist full of iron under his chin for the moment before he was knocked away.

He stumbled back, wasting several valuable seconds actively fighting the sudden dizziness and accompanying urge to drop like a ton of bricks. First order of business was to try and put some space in between him and her. With no Mako to threaten, he didn't have much of a reason to do anything other than get out of her reach.

The llama tank wasn't going to just let the cat regroup. She charged him no sooner had she landed from her power attack. She swung her free fist for his head, her other arm followed shortly with an attempt to smack into a wall. Should she get him that far she'd use the shield to pin him there. The Llamas swing with the shield was a little slower then she'd have liked, but her arm still throbbed from the wolverines attack. As much as she'd like to return the favor the the girl, Tracer had to focus on Ace. She needed him so she could get out of the hospital before any of the others returned from their wild goose (deer?) chase.

Meanwhile, the hiding deer and mouse would only have a few more seconds before Geoff was upon them. It may just end up as a two against one situation, but Geoff was at least reassured with his covering fire from Casey across the rooftop. What he would do was still up in the air. His crystal typically was his go-to solution to smack whatever was in his way/annoying him/being evil in some form, and although a primitive solution to mostly everything, it'd worked out well in the past. Now, thanks to the lack of the said power and with his movement feeling a bit muddy, he'd just have to wing it.

Needless to say, any survival instincts Ace had still functioning in his head were all set to high alert by the time Tracer went in for a second blow. He managed to catch the punch with a swift block (or as well as you can 'catch' a few-dozen-pound strike with one's forearm), but the shield strike was not so easily repelled. Matter of fact, it wasn't repelled at all-- it was barely kept from grinding him into the wall by his other arm.

Somehow though, the serval managed to place that arm's palm against the face of that shield while the other gripped at the wrist of her fist. Hopefully she didn't have any laser-beams hidden in her palms, because-- damn, she was stronger than she looked! No matter how he pushed, he couldn't get her weight off of him. Was there some way to make that work for him?

Things were looking bad for our friendly neighborhood assassins.

Pinned behind a solitary AC Unit for fear of being riddled with bullets, Archer looked at his mouse associate with the mysterious creepy mirror of creepiness. He laughed nervously as the question was posed, "Ahah, yeah... I totally used the numbing agent..."

He paused.

"I don't think it ended up in the cat though...unfortunately."

Things were getting hairy very quickly though. It was easy to see Geoff closing in. And their cover wouldn't be big enough to hide a scuffle from bullet rain. Three's a crowd, as they say. That said, their cover had just served to back them into a corner. Something had to be one..and quick.

So Archer did the only thing any reasonable person would do.

...

He lunged to meet Geoff in a headlong tackle. Maybe he figured that in the hedgehog's face was as safe a place as any from the bullets, assuming the boar wasn't willing to shoot his travel buddy to get to him. He could only hope his wild assumption would pay off.

And while Archer was doubtlessly correct in his assumption that Casey wouldn't risk hurting a friendly, he didn't have to rely on that. For whatever reason, the hog was no longer facing the action. Instead, something behind him seemed to have thoroughly preoccupied him, which is to say, rendered him standing with both hands (or rather, one hand and one gunarm) up in the air.

"Drop it," said a voice on the other side of the boar. It was that same troop from before, Dian, except clad in solid black fatigues. The bandoliers of ammunition and grenades seemed to be a permanent fixture, however. He was standing about ten feet away and pointing a rifle straight at the boar, though this particular gun seemed a bit dated compared to his previous armaments. Wood-stocked, with a long, straight magazine, and a bulky scope he didn't much need at the moment, it was at least half a century out of vogue, but the important thing was that it still shot bullets. Apparently, even Li Fang's armory was running pretty dry of weaponry.

"It's— it's kin'na attached, friend," Casey stuttered incredulously, shuffling back one step, but wobbling as his heel dipped off the threshold and just plain ran out of space at the heliport's edge.

Dian clutched the rifle more tightly and raised it to aim more aggressively, finger on the trigger.

"Aah— look," Casey blurted, then slowly reached up to his skyward-pointing gunarm, ejected the magazine to the ground, slid it toward his aggressor with his foot, and racked the bolt back to eject the one chambered round. The weapon clicked loudly as he dry-fired it into the sky, proving it empty. "That's as close as we're gonna get in a, uh, timely fashion, here, a'right?"

Dian looked satisfied enough. He then suddenly stepped forward and stamped forward with a big combat boot right at the pig's gut.

"Hoorgh!"

Right off the helipad he went. It was about a fifteen or twenty foot drop to the level where Archer and Geoff had been tangling, and normally, Casey would have shaken it off easily, but the mere presence of the mirror left him weakened and ultimately shocked on impact with the ground, where he landed flat on his back with a mighty thud, and just laid there, seeing stars. (Well, he would have seen stars anyway, night sky, and all, but suffice to say he was seeing more stars, of the colorful, moving, twinkling variety.)

"You...'don't think' you injected in--what is that supposed to..." The mouse couldn't do much more than sigh and place the palm of his hand against his face. "Okay...how about we--" The deer was gone, tackling one of their assailants to the ground.

"...Well." Far be it from him to let his co-worker be the only stupid one on the roof. With Archer being the perfect distraction, the mouse chose that opportunity to make a dash for the stairwell entrance. But when he glanced to his side, he paused mid-stride. The pig was down, and standing above him was...

The mouse's smirk returned. "Mr. Dian, good to see you again, I was wondering where you had vanished away to!"

Archer was tackling Geoff, Dian had just punted Casey off a helipad like a half-flat soccer ball, and there was still some strange caped man with a spear somewhere. Yet, he seemed relaxed, as if he was in complete control of the situation.

The wolverine suddenly had a lot to take in. When Ember suddenly popped up in front of her, she nearly whacked her across the beak out of reflex, but managed to catch herself when she started her introduction.

Her thought process was something like this:
Bird in front of me, who is this--her hand is on fire, why's it on fire--her burning hand is way too close to me--wow, that cat is getting his ass kicked--oh, she's talking about a plan--wait, the tank is a girl?

She blinked after Ember finished relaying her plan. "Hit her really hard, okay. I was just gonna tickle her but I guess that works! Now 'scuse me!" With that, she dipped around the myna bird and resumed her second attempt at charging the llama from behind with intent to recklessly whack the crap out of her with a big metal object. Maybe she didn't really hear all of Ember's plan, or maybe it would have to come after Ace stopped being pinned to a wall with a big shield.

For a moment the wolverine seemed to understand perfectly. This would work. Ace would be fine and Tracer would go down easily.

"Yeah, okay so-HEY!", the bird didn't even have time to stop the female from rushing yet again, heedless of the 'plan'. Suppressing a screech of annoyance, Ember rushed after her. Fine! No one called out for her to come dashing in like a wrecking ball anyways. Man, her bottle of lighter fluid would sure be helpful right now.

With the headstart from the other, Ember wasn't going to catch up in time. Whatever removed the llama from Ace was good though. Focusing on the heat in her hand, she let it expand. Racing towards Tracer, she went and lunged for her back when close enough. There wasn't much hope for bringing her down with brute force so hopefully she could do what she did best. Be an annoyance.

Unless Tracer moved, Ember would hope to attach to her back in a form of piggybacking. Only with flaming fists pounding away. Just enough to get her to move away and maybe an opening for miss 'do-my-own-thing' to strike.

It isn't very hard to miss a deer outright throwing his body at you recklessly, so, in response, Geoff just hunkered down and threw a shoulder forward. The action wasn't as much of a hefty push as the hedgehog wished (mostly thanks to the still-present air of mugginess), but without his crystal, he was lacking on protection. Might as well return offense with offense, and how things were looking, Archer was about to be roughly smacked in the chest. Or both of them would simply come to an abrupt standstill; two sources of inertia losing all momentum. Whatever worked.

The business concerning Casey and the former Mr. Bandolier would go unnoticed by Geoff for now.

Corin was caught up in a torrent of possible ways in which to act. His ears swiveled a bit and he ground his teeth together, deep in thought-- before he suddenly altered his course and took off in the direction of the toppled hog.

He couldn't leave a man down, after all.

"Large sir!" he yelled in a voice that was likely entirely too loud, gripping his spear tight.
He hadn't noticed why, exactly, the pig was now downed, only the fact that he was. Best be prepared with spear in hand. "Are you going to be alright, or has some vile person caused GRIEVOUS HARM?"
Ohhh, Corin.

It was only a matter of time before the other two came in for another round. Tracer spun as they moved in, removing the shield from Ace she instead used it like a giant fly swatter to beat the flaming bird off before she got on top of her. She made this move with every intention of swatting the fire bird right into the wolverine before either got to her.

If she was successful in beating off the two for the moment she would turn her attention back to Ace, no longer squished against the wall with her shield she went for a different approach. She threw an unkind fist for the cats head. An unconscious cat is a lot easier to carry then a squirmy one.
