As far as hobbies and interests goes, Andre enjoys exercise, cooking, reading, meditation, listening to calm music, playing with his hackey sack, practicing his Tai-Chi, going out to town, writing, talking with his co-workers and family, and even playing on his acoustic guitar. In terms of exercise & fighting skills, he either goes to the local gym or up to Holly Mountain as a place to keep sharp. Much to this, he is grateful for what he has and hopes to continue to make his family proud of him.

Look, we aren't a part of the government, nor are we a business. There aren't any special programs or accommodations for people with mental conditions here. We're just a group of people. Just people, not wearing labels. I dare say that conditions like this are nearly commonplace, and that probably half the group membership has something they tussle with, but no one ever joined by flouting their problems with bold, highlighted notices, as if to look for pity. This is just supposed to be a place to enjoy writing a story with others and make friends, and it's going to be very awkward if you can't write clearly and your idea of introducing yourself to would-be "friends" is by all but directly asking for special treatment.

As for the profile? Yes, speaking in terms of writing clarity and how well it can be understood, this is better than last time. However, to be making so many edits, it still seems like you aren't taking the time to voice out your sentences and speak naturally. We can throw a blind dart at any part of your info and come up with an awkward example:



Is it unacceptable? I don't know. To be honest, we didn't fully review this after seeing that signature just because of how awkward the situation became. Just know that you will need to be able to write clearly, every post, every time, without need for constant revisions, in order to join this RP. I don't know what challenges you face, but it's not our business, nor our responsibility to have to deal with them for you. Frankly... I think you degrade yourself with that signature.

Going over this awkward writing thing has become an effort in futility. It improves only marginally every time you hastily resubmit, yet you have the ability to write normally in the chat. So, here's the solution: You've been marked as a Beginner Member. You've already been accepted into the beginner member group and can post in the RP as soon as you feel an opportunity arises. Please hold off on requesting any more reviews of character info until you've shown how you handle yourself in actual RP. The question now is not if you can eventually piece together a readable character profile after enough tries, but instead whether or not you can post clearly and readably in RP without needing tons of revisions.

So, some of your complaining was mentioned.



1. Go to another Sonic RP with your friend, then. You're the one who came back here after the exact same thing happened the last time you tried to join. If you can't write, literate RPing may not be a good fit for you. There are a million other RPs on the internet where you can join in a dissonant chorus of malformed sentences and raped word usage with Devilstorm the Hedgechidna and Friends.

2. That's right. You are getting looks because you are making a scene. Most everyone here can write at a college level, but even still, perfection is not necessary. Not to insult or embarrass anyone here, but, there genuinely are members here whose writing is a little rough around the edges. That's okay, though! The fact of the matter is that it's clear what they're trying to say, even if they misspell words or misuse punctuation. You write like English is a second language to you, however, and it has taken you innumerable revisions to get something even remotely junior-high level. Again, if you don't like our standards and the way we want to do things, why are you here?

3. We have not spent all 10 years on this one website. We operated for several years in chat-based RP then moved to toroimerai.net (now defunct), then mizurahi.net (defunct), ssrp.spindash.net, then scc.spindash.net, and now sonic.spindash.net. What you see here is from the past two years of our existence alone. See here for our complete history. Do you think trying to belittle us is cute or effective?

4. Trying hard to fit in? It looks like you're trying to stick out as sorely as you can. You gripe and bemoan your situation while refusing to read or understand rules, and you continuously resubmit your character information rather than take a moment to do it right, just like the last time you came here. Some of your more recent questions about "starting RPs" here reveal that you never even read the front page of the website before firing yet another application at us.

5. If you want to RP as a full member, then prove you can write by participating as a beginner member first. You're not getting anywhere any other way. The fact that we're even offering this opportunity is a nicety on our part that we are not obligated to extend.


I do not control when other members post. I also don't interrupt and forcibly advance scenes just because a complainer is jumping up and down and pitching fits on the sidelines. We skip once there's nothing left to do in a scene, or once the majority feel they are done posting in it.



Let's make something clear, here. You have come to this RP, made an embarrassing scene about your purported Asperger's syndrome to try to get special treatment; complained passive-aggressively (as well as just-plain-aggressively) about people mistaking your gender when you have refused to share a first name; failed to submit a usable or even fully readable character profile (when someone else easily got in on the first whack just days prior, so don't pin it on us); and now you've started getting uppity. So, here, I'll save you the time of finding some other RPs to try. Google is a good friend.
