The pilot the whole while had been the simple observer, peeking around Rhiannon with curious glances. There was a flicker of sympathy in the boy's eyes as he continuously glanced to the wounded man, but despite the obvious help and attention the fallen rider required, his attention was fully focused somewhere else for most of the time they lingered about there.

It was the griffin. To the pilot (or anyone else in the group, really), it was, in all technicality, the first time he'd ever seen the creature. Or that was what his mind told him, anyway. But how could he even recognize it in the first place? Or even place a name on the animal? Amnesia was just the darnedest of things.

Confusion over his loss of memory or not, he couldn't stop marveling the creature, his eyes staring at its wings as if the boy wish he could just sprout his own. Maybe he truly was obsessed with the skies enough to admire every single object or living being that had some connection to the air above.

He did manage to snap back to the matter at hand, however.

"You could even just put him in my aircraft!" chimed in the pilot. "At least he'd have somewhere proper to sit instead of being carried about like a rag doll."

As much as he would have liked a cure-all instead of a simple pain reliever, he gave a conceding nod. And it was already working.

"Can't argue with that... Thank you. Do you have any more of that stuff?" Despite having no memory, he was already feeling as if he was no stranger to alcohol. He looked at the others, somewhat touched by their willingness to help. Of all the ideas put forth, sitting in an aircraft seemed the most comfortable option, but who was he to choose?

"Thank you all for the assist..." He said, holding his side as he tried get up, but only got far enough to sit on the rock he was previously propped against. He took a deep breath, "My name's Daniel... I'm reasonably sure." He decided now was as good a time to as any to introduce himself, "And that's Alexander... Although, I'm sure you knew that." He of course motioned to his winged steed.

The fit the witches dust has sent the fairy into settled some times during their debate as to what could be done for the wounded rider. A pale blue ball of light hid the slowly drifting fairy as she descended down from the trees to the blonde man's knee.

"It's not a hard bit of magic, mending bones." she said absently, as if she'd just been waiting for him to ask, but was growing impatient with being looked over. "I could heal you, If you'd give me the time, for it."

“Right,” snorted the imp quietly. She skulked over to the giant’s side and kicked him in the boot with her good foot.

“See what you almost made me do,” she mumbled, “you doofus."

How delightfully cryptic. Anyone who knows anything about magic knows that fairies are tricky and untrustworthy creatures of mischief. Fortunately for the fairy, Daniel knew nothing about that. He looked at the fairy with great interest.

"Wait, you can heal me? Why didn't you say so sooner? Take all the time you need."

Apparently satisfied with the culmination of events, and either not remembering or not seeing fit to warn the oblivious young man of the pitfalls of taking favors from the fae folk, Rhiannon dipped her head in a sort of concluding acknowledgement, took a single, reverse-lunge step back, scooping the handles of her satchel into her grasp in one smooth motion, and offered an understated curtsey in parting.

"I can see you're in capable hands, then, Daniel," bade the blonde brightly. "Good luck to you."

Turning to the griffin as she went, she laid a suede-gloved hand against the side of his massive beak, stroking it once or twice, as she told him, "You, too, Alex."

"I don't suppose I've delayed us too terribly long," posited the witch (mostly to Winn) as she about-faced succinctly, and swept back toward her traveling companions. "Shall we?"

“I shall.” She replied coolly to the human as she fluttered form his knee, glowing a pale yellow shade she put a hand upon his body, and with an audible sloshing and creaking his bones where realigned and the fragments mended inside of him. The experience for her 'patient' would be one of intense pain. She never said it'd be painless. She did however say she'd take time to do it. The healing took only moments, She was already half buried in his pocket when his body stopped making weird noises and his bones where whole again.

The fairy reemerged from the pocket with the man's watch, she slung it over her shoulder and vanished, popping up again in front of the young witch.

“So how does someone with no memories have someplace to rush off too?” She asked tilting her head, the watch still strapped to her back.

If Rhiannon was at all surprised by the sudden impedance of the sticky-fingered pixie, she didn't so much as bat an eye at her.

"My companion is searching for someone very important to him," she answered cordially, with a brief nod to the mussy-haired fabricator, "and I've offered my assistance."

"Nngh" He gritted his teeth as his bones inside of his body shifted. He had to stifle any four-letter words that may have wanted to escape as he leaned forward with a hand on his side. He was a bit preoccupied with the pain to fully appreciate her going into his pocket and taking something of unknown value.

"H-hold on." He said, before standing to his feet, rubbing his side, "I didn't know I had a watch... Why'd you take my watch?"

Then his attention fell to Rhiannon again. He was certainly without any kind of direction when it came to figuring out this amnesia thing, and these folks who were already on a quest went out of their way to try and assist him. Perhaps he could take out two birds with one stone. That is to say, pay them back for their kindness, and get some answers of his own in regards to this world they lived in; which as far as anyone he talked to knew, was a complete mystery.

"Ah.. Do you have any sort of clue as to their whereabouts?"

Too many questions. Winn's face hardened at it all, but more at the fairy than anything else. He shook it off, though. He still felt a burden of politeness to heed, and he didn't have reason to be distrustful of anyone except the noisy winged creature.

"We're... more trying to get our bearings at the moment," he replied unenthusiastically, head lulling. "I imagine we'll all figure out where we're going when we know where we are, and we'll know where we are when we know what's going on."

He paused and blinked a few times after that statement, the self-satisfying realization dawning that he had just uttered a rather pleasing profundity.

It took a moment for Daniel to follow what Winn had just said, but he gave a slow nod in agreement, followed by a chuckle.

"Yes, I'm certain the same is true for all of us." He said. The young fabricator's tense expressions were not lost on him, so Daniel tried to back off. Maybe they wouldn't need his help after all. But there was one more question he had before letting them go.

"So, that town you just came from. Was there a library?" He asked, pointing a finger the way they came from. He wasn't sure if they had already tried that avenue, but libraries seemed like as good a place to start as any.

"I haven't run across any yet," answered Winn, looking down and genuinely thinking about it a moment. "But, there has to be a library in a town that size..."

The fairy calmly ignored Easton as if she didn't hear him asking after his watch. She floated around the witch in slow drunken circles as she listened to the conversation.

"It seems books would be beneficial to your goals as well, fabricator. If you really are looking to know where we are." The fairy commented, with a hint of skepticism towards Winn.

"It's sad you humans can't appreciate the situation more, though. This is like taking a vacation, any stress or worries you had are gone now and you're free to do whatever it is your hearts desire! Oh well, it's your loss." She added, hovering beside the witches hat, for a moment distracted by it, examining it briefly before continuing to drift around.

“Yeah, it’s easy for you to say,” interrupted the imp, with a sudden resurgence of her acid temperment, “you have like a million people exactly like you, traipsing around wherever you look. You’re not... stuck out in the middle of no-where, in some... hick dwarf town, with not another Sau'ha in sight!"

Winn had decided that the new people were right: a library was at least a good starting point. He didn't really get rolling far on that idea (beyond a few steps in the vague direction of the town) before the bickering started between the little non-human party members.

One word in particular jutted out to him.

"Sour? Did you call yourself a Sour?" he asked with thinly-veiled amusement as he walked, blatantly misunderstanding the pronunciation of Sau'ha.
