Sorry if this is the wrong place to post about this, but there's a quick question i'd like to ask about character creation. While looking into this site's wiki and mulling over a few ideas I came across a couple of robots which people had made for the chapters.
Is there any taboo against creating robotic characters or any reason against creating new ones?

Robots are a-okay. The only "taboo" with robots, I guess, would be that it is a little easy to accidentally make them seem overpowered (simply because they're robots, and they tend to come with a lot of bells and whistles, and armor and firepower), but as long as it's kept in check and complies with the normal character guidelines on the wiki, all is well.

If I had to make up any specific guidelines off the cuff, I'd probably just add this:

- Don't make it a "Metal [Somebody]" (i.e. please no new rendition of Metal Sonic, nor a "Metal Cream," or anything like that)
- Just make sure it fits in okay with the Sonic series (as in, don't make it a miniaturized Gundam, and all is probably well)

This might as well be posted in here as it's a simple question which shouldn't take that long to answer.

Could someone please tell me how to access the chat via Mibbit? The link seems not to work and trying to access the chat by pasting the channel address in, well, channel doesn't seem to work.

I wish I could be more helpful, but all I do is click this link and it drops me straight into the chat, no questions asked... (Well, other than username, of course.) The fact that you said Trillian won't let you in either is odd, too.

You should be able to put this into any IRC client, be it Mibbit, Chatzilla, mIRC, or anything else, and get in. Unfortunately, no one else (who has spoken up, anyway) has yet had any difficulties connecting...

Does it give you any specific error message or say anything in particular when you try?

EDIT: Actually, give this link a try, too. We use a non-default port. Maybe Mibbit's not liking that for some users.
