Sonic Spindash RP is closed.

It pains me to say this, but we're done. Thank you to those who have participated and followed along these many years. We had a lot of fun, and your contributions will be remembered for a long time to come.

Strangers and visitors of the future, please respect what is ours. If there is anything in the form of writing or rules you'd like to borrow for your own RP, please e-mail me on the gmail account "onsoku" for permission. Chances are I'll grant it if you are a nice, intelligent person, and agree to just a few small stipulations regarding proper crediting method. But please, leave our characters alone. All fan-made, original, non-SEGA characters, character art, and concepts remain property of their respective creators. Please show respect and don't try to take any of them for your own use.

I hope that some of us will be able to move on and have some more fun writing hobbies in the future. No matter what, we'll stay in touch, and this group will live on, even if it has nothing to do with RP.

I love you guys. God bless.

The roles of some characters have gotten twisted and gnarled around in the space story, in at least small part due to some uncontrollable circumstances. As I sense it, Astrid was supposed to be a much bigger influence on the plot than she has been, and may have been intended to be kind of a leader and story driver that many other characters would defer to. In her absence, Rock, who was supposed to be more of the group... "engineer" than the group leader, ended up taking her place.

I play Rock. As much as I would like to credit my charming personality and dashing good looks, I'll come right out and say that I started the group, and this status may be what gives my posts some undue weight that they wouldn't have if I wasn't (perceivably) oh so important. That said, combined with the fact that Rock is a very goal-oriented, driving kind of character, he has reached a sort of critical mass where he is now a black hole in the story, resulting in characters who do not have direct contact with him being very nearly irrelevant. We aim to rectify this.

I do not know what's going to happen in the story, but there should be some opportunity for people to start banding together to accomplish goals. There are many goals to be accomplished, be they fending off this new threat (whatever it is), exploring this new planet, finding a way home, or simply getting better equipped to do any of the above using the ARK's immense resources. Hopefully, characters who are like-minded in their desire to accomplish these things will begin to gravitate toward one another, and form some kind of group.

The best candidates for this group so far appear to be...

- Rodolf (a pretty direct hero who may have leadership potential)
- Badge (100% hero, same as above)
- Astrid (more possibility for guiding and assisting a group, if Jeni gets internet access back)
- Sheffhog (a good knight in sour armor to add to the mix, if Sheff jives with the idea when he gets back)

These are all fairly heroic characters. I've heard from John and Rachel that we may be able to even fit Coop and Tracer in there, too, with both of them being willing to cooperate for the common good just so they can get the heck out of this place. That said, it seems like we have a fairly strong cast, and there are even more characters who could end up there, I'm sure.

If you are down with this grouping, or if you were not mentioned above and would like to be a part of it, then... let's start talkin' about how to make it happen, and begin gently guiding the story in that direction. Maybe at first opportunity, one of those characters with the verve for leadership could start grabbing others and saying, "Hey, let's get some crap done around here."

Let's get some space unicorn up in here. In other words, you should prolly know already that I'm on-board with this. (Anything to pretend I can actually be relevant!)

Oh hush Kazz-face you're plenty relevant. Rodolf just needs to find his nitch. Do you think he'd want to gather up a party and start doing some good or is that too much of a stretch for our space unicorn?

Tracer doesn't have much choice but to work with the newly formed group, and as i already said I'm all for it. So how are we doin this? If Rodolf isnt likely to form a group, I find Hoji to be an obvious choice as the resident vanquisher of evil and hero to the down trodden.

Rodolf just needs some justice to pursue. In the company of Wild Badge, there's no doubt he'll find it.

Oh, and on the subject of space unicorns: UNICORN GUNDAM

In any case, I'm all for a mini-Justice League. It'll be great.

I'm cool with this. We got my computer up and running again (EVERYBODY KNOCK ON WOOD), so I (at the risk of sounding like a broken record) should be back. Astrid makes great support/guide, so I'm all for it.
