Ember would have found the damage done quite 'awesome' if it hadn't been for the casualities. That was always a real downer for her. Though when he talked about the 'burning down the island' she was going to do, she gave a nervous chuckle.

"Aw shucks. I wasn't going to burn down the whole thing. Just maybe a little flame. A little campfire. Nothing like what you did. I'm just a simple minded little birdie who likes to have some fun. Ya know how it is. I wasn't going to go and burn down the whole darn thing."

It was a little white lie. She had planned something bigger than a campfire. The oppurnity to set ablaze a goverment island was a hard thing to resist and the bird never had much self-control. However, she kept a smile plastered on her face and hoped that her karma was going good.

"Mmhmm," he said, his eyebrows rising gently in a peculiar, flat expression that might either be read as amusement or surprise.

"I think—"

'Updated depth is average 32.1 meters.'

'Warning. Iridium—trichloride—detected in local sample. Density, 31 parts per million, estimated.'

Coop frowned, and turned to the console.

He took the controls, very gently tugging on what appeared to be a small joystick.

"Well, it doesn't matter if you were going to start a big fire or not, you're here now, and we're going to have to keep you here until we're at our next stop."

Though she could hear most of what the eletronic voice from the console was saying, it made no sense to her save for the depth. Maybe they were getting closer to land.

"Oh! Does that mean you'll drop me off whenever we hit land? Because that would be just dandy."

"Nmmhmm," spoke the gargantuan eagle, apparently intensely distracted by an instrument on the console, "not if you're lucky…"

Mentally groaning, she slumped back in the seat as best she could. Of all the things she had gotten herself into too, this was the third worst one. Stretching her legs out in front of her, Ember crossed her ankles.

"So? What happens if I'm lucky?"

Coop flopped his head down. He looked up at the opaque windows. He looked down at the console again.

"Alright," he said, "look, I'm trying to be nice to you," he turned around and glared at her, "okay? Do you not get that? I mean, you can't—just—ghg—hgrht—"

Coop stopped, and very carefully pressed one forefinger very hard against his forehead, his jaw jutting out in bitten-back rage. After rubbing the finger back and forth a couple times, he let both hands flop down by his side again. He took a couple deep breaths.

"Look, just—stop it, alright? …don't make me gag you, too."

The cold steel of a 9mm hand gun came to rest against the side of the apple colored birds head.The Llama had entered the cabin without a sound and crept up beside the bird with an effortless and soundless stride. The first noise she made was the click of the safety being removed from her weapon.

"Shut up." She said in her soft and smooth tone. There was no threat in her simple and direct words. It was an unspoken fact, if silence wasn't achieved she would remove the red bird from the mortal coil.

So long as the Myna Bird fell mute for the moment she'd click the safety back into place and place the gun into her leg holster. She leaned on Coops seat looking at his controls, She'd offered to drive the boat but you know men and their toys. "ETA?"

Ember's beak was already open and ready to give a reply to the eagle when the cold metal was pressed against her head. Obeying the command given to her, her beak shut with a 'click'. Pressing back in her seat, she glared for a few moments at the two in front of her. It was a childish thing to do, but at least it made her feel somewhat better. Afterwards, she let her head droop down and closed her eyes.

Even though she hated to admit it to herself, it was obvious that saying anything would just dig her deeper in the hole she was already in. Thinking to herself about how nice it would be if this whole mess was a spy movie and soon the tux-wearing hero would swoop in and save her, she gave a small little smile. That would be awesome to see.

“Pfffff,” Coop breathed out, slowly.

“We're,” he looked meaningfully at Ember for a moment, “getting close—just coming around the back. Maybe about fourty-five minutes, give or take.”

Glancing up again at Coop, Ember nodded. It seemed as if she was going to say something but instead just gave off a wide grin.

The llama nodded at the large bird and looked at the captive one more time. This time her head fell at an angle as she looked her over, then shook her head and stepped back out of the cabin from where she came. She traveled the narrow corridor back to the cabin Archer was in. She could have made him aware of their ETA to begin preparations, but she didn't.

The Llama checked her side arm, smirking a bit as she pulled out the empty clip. Still smirking she secured the weapon and threw anything back into her bags that she may have taken out.

Then stopped starring at Archer who was lounging on her jacket, her amused smirk settled into a glare as she stopped and crossed her arms.

The cloaked deer was sprawled out on a couch, having not made the effort to move Tracer's jacket before plopping himself down, one hand folded behind his head, head resting on the arm rest of the sofa. He looked at her as if oblivious to his trespass.

"What?" He asked, his other hand swinging an arrow back and forth between two fingers.

"So, did you get an ETA?" He asked as if knowing she went to go check.

Coop frowned at Ember in the ensuing silence.

"You know something? How about this—I know you're being all mouthy because I'm the bad guy, and because you have to, you know, stick up to me. I get it. So how about this."

Coop strode over behind the chair Ember was handcuffed to, and the Myna Bird felt a gust of air as he dropped to his knees, his massive physique displacing all the air around it. There was silence, and then a muffled jingling noise, and then the cuffs around her hands would drop away. After a few moments, the cuffs around her feet would fall off, as well.

He stood up.

"Have you wondered," he said, "why I haven't killed you yet?"

Seeing as the llama was gone from the room, Ember opened her mouth once more though her tone was a bit nervous. "Actually, I could care less about sticking up to you. No offense or anything, but there isn't much point in sticking up when you're chained up. Words don't do a thing to help."

Ember's entire body attempted to shift further down in the seat as Coop approached and went behind the chair. Craning her head back to look at him she tensed, ready to try and at least duck if he made a move. However, she heard the jingling noise and felt the metal fall off her wrists and land on the floor with a clunk. It was even more shocking to her when the cuffs on her feet were removed. Rubbing her sore wrists, she kept her gaze on him.When Coop asked the question, she nodded.

"Well course. Wondering why you left me alive this long. I'm not a spy or some chick with money. Actually I've been asking myself every few moments." Turning around in the seat, she rested her arms on the back of the seat. "Thanks for being nice by and by."

The dark look she aimed at the deer grew more severe as he slung dim questions at her instead of handing over the jacket he was laying on. Finally she stepped over and grabbed the sleeve sticking out from under him.

"Move." She demanded tugging on her coat. After a moment she gave the Deer a irritated look and yanked the coat out from under him likly pulling him from his cozy resting place as she did so.

"40 minutes." She offered as she put her jacket on and gathered her things.
