Just a message to let you know that you newly-joined folks haven't been forgotten.

I'm sorry things have been moving so slowly for the past... month, practically. We had a really active patch there for a while, but then things got rough again. I've had my slow times and haven't been around a lot because of university funtime some nights, and worsened things a little by trying to leave myself almost completely out of creative control of at least one thread, when I should have still tried to help it along more than I did (rather than bombing in on it after it already started to deflate). Other folks have been busy, too, and will continue to be so. So, we've been in a slump, and RP has been kinda un-fun, and for that, I apologize.

The positive side: At least one thread is coming to a close as of tomorrow, while another will be ending hopefully in a week, if I have my way. I'm really wanting to move away from long, rampaging action-capers for a thread or two, and have some time to do some characterization stuff—Actual interaction between characters, and dialogue that doesn't necessarily involve phrases like "Shoot it" or "It's gonna explode" and the like. Hopefully, these upcoming threads will be a good time to give new characters some significant playtime.
