What's your character's personality like? Write a paragraph or two of general info about your character.
An open minded, fun loving individual with an active adventurous nature and a tendency to be a bit outgoing despite his often own impersonal disposition, Juneau is a relatively patient individual, willing to endure countless hours of research as necessary, even with his impulsive streak.
As for his life, he's an accomplished archaeologist and experienced botanist, born to parents with an enthusiastic passion for their work of similar interests, his father a botanist, his mother an archaeologist. Juneau's spent his entire life on the go, trotting the globe from one remote location or another on countless expedition. Having spent such an extensive amount of his life apart from the modern hustle and bustle of the modern homogenized world, hes come to developed some what of a distaste for it, though has been known to tolerate it from time to time for the necessary visits.
Early on in his life Juneau came across his since long-term traveling companion, a chao whom he'd later come to refer to as Myr. Initially, it was perceived the chao's egg was merely a painted artifact of pottery, only to have it hatch on him while packing into into a storage container. Needles to say it didn't take long for some one of his young age at the time to quickly become attached to something he could consider a friend in his upwardly mobile lifestyle, making the pretty much inseparable since.
Though loosing his father to a tragic accident during an expedition later on in his childhood, Juneau's retained a strong interest in continuing along with the only lifestyle hes ever really known, even despite the opportunity to settle down while still at fairly young age, after his mothers own passion for her work dwindled after her husbands death, due to her own partial feeling of guilt for the incident.
Juneau's life has been a nearly always constant, even if the locations are rarely the same, Just more so along the lines of a duo act these days. An avid explorer with a strong interest continuing both his parents passions, Juneau has pretty much, more or less, followed in their footsteps, all be it at in his own, a slightly faster style. Juneau has made a good life for himself, all things considered, even if its not always as stable, ..or well funded as some may prefer.

Juneau's a skilled survivalist with a knack for exploiting his own inherit agility and fleet of foot, even if he isn't exactly as speedy of a runner as most, hes still quiet capable of being an annoyingly evasive individual, which comes in quite handy when your life is spent getting around typically decaying ruins and overgrown jungles.
Keeping in mind not every place he'd end up would necessarily have friendly locals, Juneau's taken, but not necessarily paid attention to, several self defense classes, most of which involved handgun and baton combat. With a strong preference for avoiding fights when ever possible, Juneau isn't the most experienced fighter, preferring instead to avoid the blows when it comes to them, but is still rather aware of how to do so should the need arise.
Having since drawn a recreational interest in a from of transportation originally picked up as a means to serve as a compact, yet flexible way of long distant travel, Juneau has developed somewhat of a knack when it comes to most boardsports, air and sand boarding in particular, though inst quiet as skilled as many of the more professional practitioners. His interests peaked enough for him to of invested in a customized x-gear and has since taken the time to develop a moderate understanding of how it works for the sake of maintenance.

Juneau isn't too picky about things, so long as they don't involve sitting in a city too often. He's one for adventure with a recreational interest in several board sports and a general interest in kicking back for a relaxing drink while going over his current research, planning his next trip, or just mellowing out in his home in the mystic ruins attending to his botany interests.

A rather tall, narrow, all be it strong individual, Juneau has a burnt green carapace with several darker brown markings and pale gray eyes, his wings often giving the effect and appearance of a dark brown cutaway coat.
His attire consist of a dark brown, subdue finish full-grain leather vest with five vertical buttons, though rarely buttons more then a few. The vest has a single right side waist level flap top pocket with a single button strap and interior zipper and two vertical zipper chest pockets in addition to the typical hand pockets.
Hes always got his trusty full grain leather satchel pack with him, almost exclusively worn as a backpack. The satchel has a single roomy main compartment with a buckle strapped flap top. Its got an assortment of interior pockets in addition to a smaller front compartment similar to the main. Its also got two side compartments, one slightly taller then the other and assorted small brass rings to attach things to. All its metal work, Rivets, buckles, zipper, and such are all brass.
In addition, hes rarely, if ever, seen without, or for that matter, wearing a pair of handmade antic two-panel goggles, featuring a pair of frontal and peripheral lens, independent for each eye. The goggles have been modifier with adjustable transparent glass in addition to a small adjustable liquid layering to allow for adjustable magnification and a pair of front facing high powered LEDs on either side. All typically worn over a dark brown bandana used to wrap his head.
His attire finishes off with a leather belt of similar materiel and design to his satchel, affixed with several small waist packs and a single some-what mid-sized pack on his left side, and a leather bound holster with button strap for his revolver. His feet are tucked into a pair of brown moc-toed boots with gray socks, though rarely wears the socks, and a pair of full-grain leather gloves.
