What would be the rules on the species of your character?

Don't feel too bad if you had difficulty finding it bluntly stated in the rules—I think it might have been an oversight, since I'm browsing for it now, and I don't see it. So, here's the deal:



- Hedgehogs and foxes will be allowed in strictly limited quantities, since there's already too many of them in the official series, and they're overplayed in fancharacter circles. (Superspeeding hedgehogs or two-tailed foxes in fancharacter form will be scorned most humiliatingly before being trebucheted into the hill country.)

- Echidnas are a shaky subject. Knuckles is the last of his kind on Earth, and that's that, no contest. However, if Sonic Chronicles is counted in any way, there may be echidnas from the Nocturnus clan (much like Shade) potentially capable of finding their way back to Earth somehow. Short answer: We probably won't allow echidnas unless it's very well thought out and incorporates the Nocturnus somehow.

- Hybrids are allowed, as long as they aren't some cliché mix of official character species. I'll go ahead and be brutally forward and presumptuous about your intentions (but also honest) and tell you now that "echidnahogs" or "hedgechidnas" are uber cliché and overrepresented in the fandom, and probably won't fly here.



Really, the catch-all rule for fancharacters here is to try to be original while still fitting in with the official series in some way. Everything else is just a matter of minor details.

Then alright nevermind, sorry to bother. If I do make another character i'll post them but until that time comes which may not be soon I guess my main shall not be submitted. It's disappointing but hey, thats life. I don't see any other characters I have in development due to my art block. Would it be ok if you could direct me to where I can deactivate this account? I haven't much inspiration so I may not use this account made here at all due to the conditions. I can roleplay alright and I try to be as original and accurate as possible. I have no issue with the rules but as far the species conditions go, my character will not meet them. I don't have much other reason to hang around.

Alright, then. For the record, leaving accounts active isn't really any problem or strain on resources or anything, but since you specifically requested, I'll go ahead and nuke it. If you change your mind, get inspiration for another character, or what have you, you're more than welcome to re-register at any time.

Thankyou. I appreciate it. I truly am disappointed in leaving. Hopefully I'll comeback but I don't think it may happen. Take it easy and I hope this site goes far. It's not easy finding a place like this were its so organized and actually has very good standards.
