It pains me to say this, but we're done. Thank you to those who have participated and followed along these many years. We had a lot of fun, and your contributions will be remembered for a long time to come.
Strangers and visitors of the future, please respect what is ours. If there is anything in the form of writing or rules you'd like to borrow for your own RP, please e-mail me on the gmail account "onsoku" for permission. Chances are I'll grant it if you are a nice, intelligent person, and agree to just a few small stipulations regarding proper crediting method. But please, leave our characters alone. All fan-made, original, non-SEGA characters, character art, and concepts remain property of their respective creators. Please show respect and don't try to take any of them for your own use.
I hope that some of us will be able to move on and have some more fun writing hobbies in the future. No matter what, we'll stay in touch, and this group will live on, even if it has nothing to do with RP.
I love you guys. God bless.

Mike's thoughts kicked into fever pitch as soon as the robot's attention was removed from him, and he dodged to the opposite side of it just as the sharp rapport of E-108's gun arm cracked in Tabby's direction. It was a crazy move, but the closest boxes were behind the war machine. His progress was tracked across the ground by the Gauntlet's shadow, still retreating to its proper shape from what the abuses of black box technology had forced it into. Ideally, if he got out of the machine's range in time, he'd dive behind the boxes in a rather inelegant belly-flop and try not to get shot full of holes. If not, well, he'd spend a little bit longer playing the hostage. Involuntarily.

To assume that such a dismissive tactic as simply blasting her soapbox to bits would work was to assume Tabitha was not as brazen or confident in her abilities as she was. That was to assume injudiciously.
Rather than away, she evaded the concussive force of the suppressive fire by bounding straight onto the distracted E-100's carapace. Front, back, or sides, it mattered little to her; with both rattling cans of paint out on landing, she shimmied around just enough to reach its optical receptors, and let loose with a densely opaque fog of jet black and jungle green. The whole thing took maybe two or three seconds, but she didn't stick around for retaliation. No, the speedy sand cat slid lithely off her perch, hit the floor in a seamless roll that broke into a run, and peeled out to check in on the other altercation in the room, with only a single, over-the-shoulder word to the fisher as she blew by:
"Move!"

With the emerald now in enemy hands, and the sand cat assaulting his last form of back-up, the situation was getting mighty desperate. The loss of a Chaos Emerald would not bring favor to his doorstep. He was about ready to dive-tackle the lizard to get the emerald, but he stopped when he caught something at the corner of his eye.
Instead of the lizard, he ran toward the lemur and if given the chance, he would grab her by the arm, kick her legs out from under her and pin her to the ground in a single, fluid action followed by using his free-hand to ball his fist, looking ready to rearrange her features.
Assuming he was able to accomplish this rather brazen action, he'd shout toward the lizard, "Unhand the emerald!"

The hunk of metal lashed out in a frenzy as the torrent of black and green paint covered E-108. It stopped momentarily to try and scrape out the spray paint blocking its field of vision. The blotches of paint hindered its targeting system, so it would be reduced raw brute force.
It wasn't really occupied at the moment, so it decided it would scrape up whatever gum Wild Egg had left behind. Through the densely painted barely visible dome, it was able to perceive that the Sheriff was slumped against a pipe. It started to move in her direction, confident the Egg Pawns could at least distract the other intruders while it seized Jack.

Jack was able to shake off the stars and the pain from Wild Egg's attack. But having dropped her gun she had to draw her second and reload it. While doing this is appeared one of Eggman's robots had decided she'd be an easy target.
Too bad she could fly, Her wings took action, carrying her above and away from the robot as she loaded the last rounds into the chamber of her revolver. With a slap of her hand she locked the chamber back into place and pointed the now reloaded gun at the robot. She fired once into the pipe, the round hit it and rebound towards one of the robots oculars. She didn't spend much time on the shot though, so her accuracy took a hit. Luckily for the robot there wasn't a second shot, Jack was more worried about stopping Hoji then she was about dismantling one of the billions of egg shaped goon-bots in the area.

Scout had been doing her best to keep out of the fray, concerned about throwing off the groove of the others who actually seemed to know what they were doing in a tense, battle-heavy environment. Her attention elsewhere, it was mere luck that she happened to glance in the general direction of the charging Hoji-but-not-Hoji (or at least that's what she gathered his name was from Jack- she couldn't believe anyone would actually go by the name Wild Egg, although it would sound quite awesome if it weren't evil and trying to at the least severely injure her). Upon noticing him, she yelped and had about a handful of seconds to determine what the hell she should do.
Instictively, Scout moved to whip her tail out at her assailant, hopefully knocking him over (and probably back a couple paces all things considered) before he could do the same to her. The spinning motion it would require would also likely help her evade, but... if she didn't connect with Wild Egg, that same spinning motion would likely tangle herself up in her own tail in a rather ungraceful and potentially painful display.
Well. Hopefully even if she ended up just tangling herself up all to hell, it'd at least cause her to trip him up?

The acrobatic raccoon was pretty quick on his feet, and despite her better efforts, Wild Egg managed to hop over her tail like a game of jump-rope before landing beside her. He invaded her personal space as he stuck a leg out behind her while swinging his arm around her midsection with the intention of resetting his attempt to bring her to the ground.
If this attempt ended up successful, he would waste no time in delivering his ultimatum.

Lance, who had been scampering to and fro in some attempt to actually find a proper direction to go, came to a halt upon Wild Egg's demands, the emerald in question still clasped before him like a fragile artifact. Warring sides were immediately evident within the lizard as he found himself stuck between two options; keeping the all-powerful emerald or protecting a stranger's face structure. He bit his lip, as if afraid of the consequences that would arise from both. Fortunately, he made his decision quickly.
The glowing stone was soon found arcing across the room into the sea of opened Egg-canisters, disappearing amongst them with a clatter.
"Go and get it then!"

Mike didn't need Tabitha's added incentive to book it; his internal alarms were telling him pretty much the same thing. Though at a downright pitiful rate compared to the cat who'd just passed him, he still made his intended destination of cover and threw himself behind it, lanky limbs sprawling (with a nice, loud, metal-on-metal clank from the Gauntlet) but at least managing to spare his nose from its second battering that day. He stayed there for some time, flat on his stomach and generally trying to be a small, unnoticed target. The black of his jacket and the stark white of most of his fur were at odds in keeping him hidden, but by some narrow stroke of fortune he went mostly ignored.
Orr… maybe it was because a crazy guy in a costume had grabbed a hostage and someone was now playing hot potato with a radiantly shining… something, he didn’t get a good look at it before it was lobbed into the forest of canisters. The fisher blinked once, twice, and decided he was probably better suited right here behind these boxes.
Of course, the whims of the fates could very well drag him into a situation in fairly short order, given his chosen cover was angled in a way that left him well within Wild Egg's line of sight- it seemed in fleeing the larger, scarier adversary he'd disregarded the arguably more dangerous one.
