Alright, let's see if this one works out.

What is your character's name?
> Amon Calgary.

Species?
> Common Genet.

Age?
> 23 years old.

Give us a few paragraphs of general info about your character. For example, what's the character's personality like? What kind of things does he or she do? Why does he or she do it? (Please don't give us your character's point-by-point life history, though.)
> Personality: Amon is a pleasant individual, somewhat charismatic but friendly all the same. He may only hold a conversation for so long, but he gets along with practically anyone. Close friends are taken seriously and are held dear to his heart. Amon has also learned from his mother to respect others, especially females, sticking by the code of chivalry.

When it comes down to getting things done, Amon sets his minds to a task and never wanders from it. He is your "mission-reminder" guy and will do his best to keep you (and himself) in line. When it comes down to it, he's a risk taker and believes that whatever he does, he will either learn a mistake or appreciate a situation in some way – to become a better person, basically.

Amon also has his wits about him, having graduated from a university. Amon may not be the best mathematician or a gifted medical doctor, but his studies in humanities have taught him well about the mysteries of life and the purpose of mankind enough to get involved in deep conversations whenever the opportunity arises.

Amon's philosophical mind may be a nice asset, but it leads him to trouble all the same. He has got to be the most sullen, but brutally blunt guy you've ever met. There may be a graduation ceremony and while a speaker assures the graduates basically that they will succeed in life, Amon believes that only half of them will actually "succeed" and that they're not special at all because of future "real world" situations. He is not afraid to tell you the truth, and in telling the truth, he may break your heart, depending on how severe a truth is.

Things he does: He sings, reads, takes walks, and collects (finger) rings. These are hobbies/talents of his, or just things he takes an interest in.

Does your character have any skills or special abilities, a gimmick, or anything that makes it stand out as an athlete or fighter? If so, talk a little about it here. Be sure to include an explanation or origin story for anything unusual, extraordinary, or supernatural.
> He can naturally climb without fear, whether it be trees, ladders, or flat surfaces. From his fingertips embed tiny fur follicles that allow Amon to stick to and climb a wall or flat surface. His quick reflexes enable Amon to climb, jump, and perform other agile movements at ease. He may also leap when climbing. Being a genet, he is also capable of accessing certain areas that other may find difficulty getting to by using his climbing ability or poking his head through tight spaces to, for instance, get a quick view of something. As for other abilities, Amon is an average runner (albeit slower with his coat on).

Does your character have any purpose? (It's okay if you don't have this fully figured out yet, but all the better if your character does have an agenda or some sort of driving force to it to make it interact with other characters.)
> Amon strives for knowledge/adventure outside of his hometown, something his father failed to do. Ultimately, he's following in his father's footsteps.

Does your character have an image? You can post it here, if so (as long as you follow the rules mentioned in the character guidelines). If not, please write a description of your character's appearance.
>
Image

* I haven't fooled around with color just yet, but I've included a description below.

Appearance: Amon has blue-gray fur, a white skin muzzle and white ear inners. He has piercing, yellow eyes. Two, large fringes extend from his forehead to his muzzle. Five, medium-length strands of hair sit behind his head and neck. He has a black, small, and shiny nose, and large, triangular-shaped ears. Perhaps his most distinct feature is his long tail, which equals his own height. His tail is adorned in eight, black rings that finally end in a black tip. There are numerous black markings on his body - they stream along the edges of his muzzle, around both of his fringes, at the tips of his hair, on the backside of his ears, above his eyes, on his back (hidden underneath clothes), and a middle stripe down his spine (also hidden underneath clothes).

Attire: He wears a long, black, bulky coat (which is really just an asset) with small pearls along the sleeves, zipper, and collar area. Underneath the coat, he may wear anything from a sweater to a simple t-shirt. He usually wears black pants (or on a relaxing day - casual, blue trousers). He has a pair of white gloves, in which half hides underneath coat. His gloves are tightly secured by steel, black bands. He wears long, black boots with an unusual design (buckle running along the middle of each boot with pearls, lines running down the middle, etc) and black soles. Securely fastening his boots are steel, white bands stacked on top of each other. Among his accessories may be rings.

Will you be around to play your character regularly? (i.e. Keeping daily tabs on any threads you involve yourself in, and posting whenever it's your turn?)
> Yes.

Do you live in or near the Americas, or elsewhere? (It may be difficult for you to participate in any of the fast-moving sessions if you're only online when the rest of the group is asleep, so we ask this just to be aware of any potential problems.)
> USA (Central Time).

Are you okay with having your character information and image on this website (such as on the wiki)?
> Yes.

What is your name? (This question isn't optional. We need something to call you by that isn't your character's name nor some obnoxiously long username. Don't post your last name, though! This forum isn't private.)
> Kat or K.D.

EDIT: Because of my previous attempts at a character, I have taken off the question about Chaos Energy, as I do not know how to play it in with this character. I have also tweaked the personality a little bit.

After what happened the last time you submitted a character, no one is going to spend their time reviewing this one unless you acknowledge the stuff you tried to pull before, and make a pledge not to do it again.

Don't remember? The discussion page is still up.

Hello,

Yes - I see that I had made some blatantly careless mistakes with the previous character. Allow me to point out the mistakes I've made: I have read that I attached the character to the intolerable "killed my parents" cliche. Zach was accepted and then turned into a ninja, in a wild attempt to create a special power, in which was ridiculous and on top of that, "knocking out a character" as considered a god-modding manner, which in every form of role-playing is strictly prohibited. Also, I had contradicted his toughness description and thus, not matching the star rating with the description. Above all else, I slipped through the approval stage and twisted Zach until he was a joke.

I am sorry for such idiotic errors and I vow to never commit any of the above errors nor any of the prohibited features as stated in the "Original Character Guidelines" of this forum's Wiki. Before I leave this out, I will also be sure to form paragraphs instead of bullet/point form.

By the way, I'm not just saying all this just to get it over with so someone can review some new fictionalized character that in the end does not matter, but that it's the player that controls the character that matters.

Again, my apologies. This will not happen again.

Aauhh, just an "I'm aware, and I'll be careful not to do it again this time" would've sufficed, you know, but I guess it's good you looked closely. I smell sarcasm in this spectacle, but I'll just blame the obfuscation of the text barrier to keep the peace and move on.

Will review a little later on.

No problem with this character. It seems to be built conservatively, which I suppose is better than the alternative, though I hope you're able to find some way to involve him. One admin did point this out, though:

[...]

He has got to be the most sullen, but brutally blunt guy you've ever met.

May be some issue there with the info agreeing with itself, but not enough to cause problems accepting the character. Other than that, the only other comment I have is...

Quote:

You don't really have to worry about going into the whole Toby Maguire Spider-Man "climbing hairs" thing. We can willingly accept that your character can cling to walls without going into the anomalous biological nitty-gritty of it all.

Anyway, that said: accepted, and wiki page started.

Amon

You'll be able to edit it within a few minutes after this post, once you're marked as a member. Feel free to reply here if you have any issues, and definitely make sure to say something here when you're done editing so we'll know to pop in and give it the all-clear stamp. Happy RPing.

I may need some help with this part. Maybe something like this?

He's an all-around content individual, willing to welcome others into his life.

[...]

He can be brutally honest, usually when threatened.

Okay, omitting that part.

I'm gonna work a little bit on his profile while I'm still awake, but the rest may have to wait 'til tomorrow afternoon or so.
