What is your character's name?
> Carmen Neptuna

Species?
>Otter

Age?
>16

Give us a few paragraphs of general info about your character. For example, what's the character's personality like? What kind of things does he or she do? Why does he or she do it? (Please don't give us your character's point-by-point life history, though.)
> Carmen is an energetic, spirited young girl. She loves to be active and around people, especially around people who enjoy life like she does. She is very passionate and feels things very strongly: joy, rage, even sadness. She’s quick to make up her mind and act, and truly hates being idle. While not an official hero, she is the type that will lead a group instead of follow, and break away from someone she considers wrong, or a bad influence. Carmen is defensive of her friends and family- anyone that threatens or harms them will have one seriously pissed off girl on their heels. Although she has her down times like everyone else, she does her best not to dwell on bad things- and encourages others to do the same.
While Carmen currently lacks a job, she makes up for it by going after her dream: to be a pro athlete. To this end, she’s on the waves at 6AM daily with the type of dedication that most people put into martial arts or college. She surfs for two hours if the weather is good, then moves right into her Gear skating up and down the beach.

Does your character have any skills or special abilities, a gimmick, or anything that makes it stand out as an athlete or fighter? If so, talk a little about it here. Be sure to include an explanation or origin story for anything unusual, extraordinary, or supernatural.
> Carmen is an excellent surfer, air-skater, and swimmer. She is also a practitioner of capoeria; able to use her feet, legs, and tail as weapons in a graceful dance. She is a blue cord, with five years of training under her belt. She is also an excellent surfer and air-skater. Although she hasn’t taken a lesson in several years, she also knows some ice skating. Her moves on the Extreme Gear track reflect her dancing ability; aerial spins, leaps and even backflips are present in her style. She skates the air rather like a figure skater.

Does your character have any purpose? (It's okay if you don't have this fully figured out yet, but all the better if your character does have an agenda or some sort of driving force to it to make it interact with other characters.)
>While she wants to know what happened to her father, she honestly just wants to enjoy her life. She also harbors a dream of being a professional athlete.

Does your character have an image? You can post it here, if so (as long as you follow the rules mentioned in the character guidelines). If not, please write a description of your character's appearance.
> Carmen's fur is light brown, suitably caramel colored, with a white section from her neck to the inside of her belly and the inner half of her tail. Her hair is nut-brown, with deep red tones, which she usually braids or ponytails. Her eyes are blue-green. She also has webbed fingers and toes.
She usually wears a white and gray hoodie top, short blue and white board shorts, and blue, white and silver air skates. She also wears a pair of blue and white armwarmers. Underneath that, she wears a bikini top and matching swim shorts with a blue bubble pattern.

Will you be around to play your character regularly? (i.e. Keeping daily tabs on any threads you involve yourself in, and posting whenever it's your turn?)
>I’m on a work hiatus… once I go back I’ll be at 40 hrs a week. But I will make time for the board- because that’s the whole point, right?

Do you live in or near the Americas, or elsewhere? (It may be difficult for you to participate in any of the fast-moving sessions if you're only online when the rest of the group is asleep, so we ask this just to be aware of any potential problems.)
>Yes, I am American.

Are you okay with having your character information and image on this website (such as on the wiki)?
>Sure!

What is your name? (This question isn't optional. We need something to call you by that isn't your character's name nor some obnoxiously long username. Don't post your last name, though! This forum isn't private.)
>Khadija (Kah-Dee-Juh)

No real problems here. Images do need to be drawn in Sonic style in order to be used on the wiki, however, so that one is a no-go. (No, it isn't a matter of coloring or anything—it's that the lineart depicts an approximately human-proportioned furry rather than a stylized, Sonic-series-like character.)

The character doesn't have anything that makes it self-involving, per se, but it does have the right kind of personality to work with a group, so that means you shouldn't have much difficulty tossing it in at some point in the future.

You should be able to edit by logging in with your forum username and password. If you have any questions or problems, don't hesitate to ask here on the forums or tap any mod. Wikis can be a little confusing if you've never edited one before, but don't worry if it breaks or wigs out on you—we're here and can fix anything. But do be sure to post here and give us a heads-up when you're finished with it so we can look it over and stamp it approved, alright? Have fun!

Anyone you know that I can commission for the right type of art? Because I can't draw Sonic style at all, I've tried. And I'll get to work on the Wiki right away.

Just to make sure it's perfectly clear, images aren't required at all, but if you just want a Sonic-styled picture for your own enjoyment, there are several people around here who do commissions. I'm not going to shamelessly advertise for us here in the submission thread or anything, but I'm sure you'll meet them quickly in the chat in the evenings.

Anyway, by all means take your time with the wiki. There's absolutely no rush, so just do it at your own pace.

I think I'm done with the wiki for now- Carmen's so simple. I don't know if that's good or bad, really.

Stamped and approved. Be sure to click the discussion tab at the top of your wiki profile to see the review notes and also learn what was changed. (If you want to see a more precise side-by-side comparison of what was altered, you may do so here: Diff)

Thank you for your approval. I changed the tenses on some things to make it sound better. Don't ask me how I got all the star counts wrong, I'm terrible with numbers.
