What is your character's name? > Haze the Chameleon Species? > Chameleon Age? > 19 Give us a couple paragraphs of general info about your character. For example, what's the character's personality like? What kind of things does he or she do? Why does he or she do it? (Please don't give us your character's point-by-point life history, though.) > Haze is a chameleon that truly believes that of all the things that he does, fighting is the thing he does best. Ever since he left his home for being too 'annoying' at the age of 4, he had traveled the world, practicing his art, becoming stronger and stronger. He eventually purchased a katana blade at a young age, and began to train himself with it. Once he found himself to be at a considerable strength, he ended his quest to become stronger. In his mind, he was already the world's strongest. He know travels in search of someone stronger than him, in order to pas the title of world's strongest. Haze is rather arrogant, and rarely serious. He'd often make sarcastic comments towards serious situations. Despite his pompous attitude, one of his biggest pet peeves is indeed arrogant people. His life of travel had given him bravery, and a sense of justice, refusing to allow injustice to go on. They also made him incredibly carefree and lazy, seeing as he didn't care where he went or how he would end up getting there. Haze considers himself to be a 'chick magnet', despite his ridiculously poor social skills, created after years of social solitude. Because of those very same years, he has little realization of what may or may not be appropriate to say. Most would see Haze as a terrible being, with an even worse personality, but the guy truly believes that he is a role model, wishing to raise a generation of villains, for the sole purpose of being the one who will stop them all. He has a bit of decency within him though, he knows when to be kind, when to be supportive, when to be playful and when to be a jerk. Does your character have any skills or special abilities, a gimmick, or anything that makes it stand out as an athlete or fighter? If so, talk a little about it here. Be sure to include an explanation or origin story for anything unusual, extraordinary, or supernatural. > Haze has the ability to manipulate wind by using his sword. He does this with a special technique of his, used by cutting a path through the air, for the wind to travel through. He learned this one day, in his youth during an especially windy day, where he would constantly try to do something creative with his sword, something to help him become strong. Being a chameleon, Haze has the ability to blend into his backgrounds, becoming invisible in the process. He very adept at using his hands for various styles of martial arts. Mainly for punches, chops, open fingers jabs and slaps Does your character have any purpose? (It's okay if you don't have this fully figured out yet, but all the better if your character does have an agenda or some sort of driving force to it to make it interact with other characters.) > None at the moment Does your character have an image? You can post it here, if so (as long as you follow the rules mentioned in the character guidelines). If not, please write a description of your character's appearance. >Haze is a chameleon stands at 132 centimeters tall, with bright grey scales, a yellow horn and cyan eyes. His belly has a spade design on it and he is rather proud of it. He wears a pair of dark grey shoes as well as a pair of white gloves. For other pieces of clothing, Haze wears a black coat trench coat, reaching down to his ankles, which he keeps open, to show the world his 'physique'. He also dons a pair of black baggy pants, with his sword and sheath held in one of the belt loops. His jacket is filled with various flavors of sugar-free lollipops, of which he enjoys. Will you be around to play your character regularly? (i.e. Keeping daily tabs on any threads you involve yourself in, and posting whenever it's your turn?) > About five or six times a week, yes Do you live in or near the Americas, or elsewhere? If you really must, though, be aware that this is one of the most stereotypical and overused things you can slap onto a Sonic fancharacter, and that your character will come under far more scrutiny in the review process simply because of it. You'd best have a very good, very compelling reason to equip a "serious" character (that is, not a gag character) with a sword. Character guidelines wrote: It should go without saying, but, we'll say it anyway: Please don't make your submission seem like some character from Kingdom Hearts, Naruto, DBZ, World of Warcraft, or anything else of the sort. This is a Sonic RP. If you want to RP something else, go find the right RP. If you want to play some sort of airbender ninja, you may want to go to some sort of Avatar or Naruto RP. It really feels like your character would be better-placed in an anime-esque setting where he can have his trenchcoat, katana, martial arts, and ninja wind-jutsus and all that stuff. We just don't roll that way here. (Also, Espio already has the ninja chameleon market cornered, so you'd have to do something original, anyway.) You can try again with a completely different character if you really want to, but otherwise, I suggest someplace like http://sonic-cyclone.net . This is more their style than ours. (If you do resubmit, though, include a name. We've already learned our lesson about people trying to call their characters the same thing as themselves, and it just doesn't work well for conversation.) Have a good one. |
