Give us a couple paragraphs of general info about your character. For example, what's the character's personality like? What kind of things does he or she do? Why does he or she do it?
> Solar lives by a simple moral code of his own devising; do what you must to achieve your objectives and survive. Due to this, it is not uncommon to find Solar on either side of the fence in terms of morality; at home helping the heroes or the villains depending on his endgame. Due to an emotionally troubling past, Solar is highly disturbed and an incredible cynic. He often engages in conflict with himself. These internal conflicts happen daily, though rarely push him to boiling point.

Solar tends to make mountains out of molehills. He is a deep-thinker, and easily gets lost in his own thoughts. His fixation with overanalysing and dwelling upon circumstances and events can cause even the most minor of events to become an irritation. Exposure to Solar often confuses many people he has encountered; as oftimes it is literally as if he is separate persons in one body. He ranges from being calm and indifferent to volatile and feral without warning. This sense of unknown for Solar; who normally likes information and insight, adds to the complications caused by his menal infrastructure, alongside a traumatic past and unholy levels of cynisism, making for a being who only barely manages to maintain trace elements of sanity.

In terms of interacting with others; he is very much a recluse, using sarcasm and general assholishness as a deterrent to keep others at bay; in his mind, this is an act of mercy so that they do not get close enough to him as this would be hazardous to their mind and body.


Does your character have any skills or special abilities, a gimmick, or anything that makes it stand out as an athlete or fighter? If so, talk a little about it here.
> Solar is a pyromancer, (manipulator of heat), using both ends of the spectrum to be able to conjure up fire and ice, using them to amplify his body, serve as projectiles, keep the enemy in check, or unleash untold destruction. His signature moves are Fire/Ice Arrow, whereby a flick of his wrist sends arrow-shaped projectiles of the appropriate substance towards the enemy. It has been noted that Solar's power output can be linked to his mentality in that, during fits of rage or states of irritation, he is more likely to use fire as opposed to where he is calm and collected and ice would be favoured. He likes to use pyromancy in a wide-variety, often unorthodox, situations.

However, one thing he must always be wary of his not overheat. Over-use of fire can lead to his body burning out, causing severe damage and if pushed too far, killing him; this is the reason he must keep his anger tendencies in check, as his earth-shaking rage could very well be life-threatening to him as well as everyone nearby.


Does your character have any purpose? (It's okay if you don't have this fully figured out yet, but all the better if your character does have an agenda or some sort of driving force to it to make it interact with other characters.)
> His life is driven mostly by the pursuit of knowledge and applying himself towards what he thinks is right; though this may manifest in a variety of ways. It also puts him at odds with others frequently due to his willingess to do anything required. Socially, his 'agenda' is simply to get things done himself, only enlisting aid or joining others if absolutely necessary.

> Solar is a Moloch. (Thorny Devil Lizard) His skin is a crimson-colour and scaled, appearing rather tough and worn in places. His eyes are angular and narrowed near the front, giving him a very hostile appearance, as well as his rather muscular yet athletic physique and protusions of thorns. His arms, legs and tail end in sharp claws, the tail being rather long and flexible. On the right palm of his hand, Solar has a sun emblem as a birthmark. This emblem glows as he uses flame-based abilities.

Sorry for it being rather bare, I will aim to update it if possible.
Thoughts?

Just two quick things for us to clear up before moving forward:

1. Whether or not you'll be able to join from the UK depends on what your online hours are like. If you're never online when other members are (evenings in GMT -5), it won't work out. Everyone in this group is from North America, either US or Canada, barring one individual from the UK who has odd hours that make it convenient for him to be around (when his internet connection isn't busted, anyway).

2. See the Elemental Powers section of Powers & Skills. Just to make it clear, we know we're running a Sonic RP, here, so it's a given that characters will have supernatural powers, but, it's important to answer the question of "why" if you're going to pitch a character with elemental superpowers. In other words, toss us some kind of "origin story" for those powers, even if vague. If you want the origin to be a secret to the general public, PM an admin.
