It pains me to say this, but we're done. Thank you to those who have participated and followed along these many years. We had a lot of fun, and your contributions will be remembered for a long time to come.
Strangers and visitors of the future, please respect what is ours. If there is anything in the form of writing or rules you'd like to borrow for your own RP, please e-mail me on the gmail account "onsoku" for permission. Chances are I'll grant it if you are a nice, intelligent person, and agree to just a few small stipulations regarding proper crediting method. But please, leave our characters alone. All fan-made, original, non-SEGA characters, character art, and concepts remain property of their respective creators. Please show respect and don't try to take any of them for your own use.
I hope that some of us will be able to move on and have some more fun writing hobbies in the future. No matter what, we'll stay in touch, and this group will live on, even if it has nothing to do with RP.
I love you guys. God bless.

Despite the shout-fest between the canine, wolverine and pirate wife, Geoff's attention had been more devoted to Jack's arrival. However, before he could even bother answering the welcoming questions thrown his way, the former sheriff was catching up with the rabbit captain, much to the hedgehog's confusion.
"You... know him?" he questioned, almost sounding a bit amused as he followed Jack back to the gangplank.

Lattie watched the bunny escape up the rigging with a wordless wave of her hand. After coasting to a stop just before the gangplank (which she eyed suspiciously, dubious of its ability to support her load), the porter visibly brightened at the sight of the boar, and, set down her mountain of luggage for the moment, dashing down the rickety boards to meet him.
"Mr. Casey!" she greeted excitably, bouncing on the balls of her (naked) feet, both fists tucked under her chin. "I can not believe to finally be in the western country! Thank you for bring me!"
Almost immediately, she digressed, still smiling, but adding with a certain gravity to her tone; "I am very excited, but also remember why we come. I will stay near you, and help to secure Ace back before I go to sightseeing."
With a neat, concise, and completely out of place bow from the waist, the loris stood upright with a clear focus to her previously dreamy eyes.
"So. What is planned toward objectives?"

Casey set his (one extant) hand on his side and blinked down at the peppy loris as she spoke.
"Ha," he uttered in singular blurt, as if both impressed and amused. "You're a good kid."
He then paused to actually consider what she had said. Something about it genuinely stopped the gears from turning. He felt an overpowering urge to dismiss her to go enjoy herself as soon as she deposited his belongings someplace safe, seeing as how they were going to be going into dangerous situations, but then, he remembered all at once that she was the singularly most deadly force of kung fu he had ever met, and as strong as he was, to boot. He couldn't help but wonder if maybe he was outclassed, and lacked the room to be chivalrous.
This line of thought made him seem rather vapid, given how long it left him with his mouth hanging open, and how long it actually took him to render an answer to her question.
"Uh!" he exclaimed with a grunt, clearing his throat and looking doubly alert. "Well! We're actually... meetin' somebody here, or we're s'posed to. A government man a'sorts."

The teal bunny offered no complaint to the dark captain, she did however grab once he cleared the gang plank and plant a wet one right on his lips, before hopping back on deck and issuing some orders that where met with groans but eventual obedience.
"Oh good Lord he's breedin'." She muttered at Ivan's response before looking at Geoff with a smile.
"I met Ivan in Glastonia when I was investigating some disappearances. Turned out to be Eggman... Of course." She smiled at the hedgehog, it looked like the hatchet had well and truly been buried for her. "and I got a letter from Dureau the other day, Ivan."
Jack looked at the new people she was not so familiar with.
"Howdy folks. I'm Jack. Nice to meet you." She offered each one a smile and the chance to get introductions out of the way.

The lack of hostility from the griffin was a pleasant change from previous counters, Geoff finding himself glad things were at long last resolved. Managing to get off at least one person's bad side was enough to make him feel content for the moment being. Memories of a crackling cannon inches from his face came to mind otherwise, and that was some ground he was happy to have already tread and left behind him.
"Glastonia? Remember Mako mentionin' somethin' about that," pondered the hedgehog. "Met an... unique guy from there." See: Sir Corin. "He was lookin' for that mirror that got us all in this mess in the first place."

With the wolverine's attention shifting to that of the newly arrived griffin, Vade's eyes also moved over to the new arrival, raising an eyebrow as he could distinct features common to law enforcements typical to the wild west.
Without bothering to further ponder the griffin's appearance, he threw a glance at the boat again, seeming glad that the bunny on board wasn't paying attentiong anymore.
"So. What is this entire party here about? Doesn't look like a holidays for fun and giggles to me..." He suddenly spoke up as he looked back in the direction of the wolverine. "... At least not for you." He smirked, still somewhat amused by replaying the image of the toppled over wolverine in his head. He didn't come to make enemies, though. Rather to find something to entertain himself, or for a chance to show off to the new arrivals. So far: None of those chances were present, so he just had to make do with bugging the wolverine some more.

"Ohhh, we're here on vacation alright... We're here to take long romantic walks on the beaches, and sip drinks with fancy little paper umbrellas in 'em. Bring a camera and the kids and your favorite hat, 'cuz we're gonna have so much friggin' fun."
Her words were so saturated with sarcasm, they were practically waterlogged. It seemed Tyra did not feel like explaining things.

Casey perked back to attention and darted his eyes to Jack with renewed focus when she introduced herself more formally and broadly to the group at large. Something seemed to "click" in his head that, for whatever reason, didn't at first. Maybe at first glance he thought she was just a bird; it was only then that he was noticing the extra set of limbs that verified her very unique griffin status, as well as her identity as the Jack, AKA Sheriff Jack.
"Will Casey, ma'am," he said with a faux bow (more a nod with his functioning arm across his abdomen). "Didn't expect t'meet a celebrity today."
He became self-conscious and discreetly shifted in his jacket to try to hide a food stain on his shirt. He was too thoroughly distracted with such vain concerns to realize they now had an extra hanger-on in the form of some coyote guy talking to Tyra. (Maybe he just assumed the guy arrived with Jack and didn't think anything of it.)

Vade snickered audibly, taking the sarcasm as nothing less than an invitation to bug the wolverine some more, seeming to enjoy himself. "N'aw... I'm almost flattered, purple... I would almost invite you for one of those romantic beach walks..." Another smirk formed on his face to make it obvious he was trying to straighten his expression so that he wouldn't burst into laughter. "But then again... I don't do lame beach walks... I was more hoping that the lot of you weren't such a boring bunch and were instead going to... I don't know... Kick back and relax with a good movie all together or... go for something a bit more thrilling or dangerous..." He closed his eyes and shook his head dismissingly, shrugging. "More boredom for this place it seems..."
His behaviour seemed nothing short of childish, most likely giving him the appearance of either a cocky kid, or a desperate attention lover.
With him having done his say, he let go of his top-spin and let it hit the surface with it's bottom point, causing it to bounce up half an inch again, before dropping down again, laying still, tilted on the ground as Vade pressed his foot down on the top surface of the device, his eyes now once again focused on the wolverine.

Her lips pursed into a frown and her eyes still locked in a glare that was quite firmly fixed on the coyote and his fancy top-thing, she processed that entire ramble in her head, trying to draw some meaning from it...
...and came up empty.
"What are you getting at?" she asked, narrowing her eyes.

Vade proceded with just staring at the wolverine as she processed his words, just silently looking at her with the same smirk. Waiting for a well-placed comment from her end, he was anxious to instantly bounce it back with another wel-placed pun.
"What are you getting at?"
He just silently kept on looking at her, holding that same smirk on his face, although it obviously had more strain behind it this time. His forcely maintained smirk could somewhat give away how he was cursing in his head, before he just spoke up, after taking a deep, exagerated breath: "I... don't even remember anymore..." He looked up at the air, as if to find the answer there, but then just shrugged as he looked back at the wolverine. Whatever the impression was that he gave to the wolverine would have probably been anything except that he is normal, he thought. Not that he cared much about it. He was enjoying himself just fine acting like an idiot.
"So, what's the actual reason you all came here by ra-... I mean... ship." He quickly threw a glance towards the boat as he almost slipped a specific word, before looking back at the girl.

Something in her cheek started twitching, the coyote's persistence making Tyra's anger start to bubble. Strongly inhaling through her nose, she huffed and trudged off, leaving Vade behind in favor of smoldering next to the truck that Jack arrived in, away from prying questions and jokes that only grated on her. It was certainly better than the alternative.

Vade blinked as the wolverine simply turned her back on him, which he responded to with an annoyed frown, sighing as he would push himself off of the ground with the foot that was still there, pushing his top-spinner up right on its point as its rotating mechanism kicked into gear, the chaos shard inside fueling the starting engine as the disk begun to spin, with Vade balancing on top.
Probably with no other goal than getting the wolverine's or anyone else's attention again, he just balanced on the disk, before he slowly hovered over past the wolverine. "Wow... Sour, aren't we?" He smirked, before shrugging as he would let his disk soar more in the direction of the hedgehog, griffin and pig.
Without as much as a decent introduction, he just hovered near the company as the spinning speed of his disk had built up decently, just barely lifting the gear off of the ground. "Hey! What's the big gathering about?! Little miss grumpy over there couldn't bother explaining, so any of you here feel like telling where this party is going?" He seemed to balance on the spinning disk with little to no effort, having his arms crossed as his eyes rolled over everyone in front of him.

Casey glanced around at the others, looking for any sign that this guy, seemingly randomly approaching a group of strangers, was known by anyone. Given the inevitable lack of any such acknowledgment, Casey eventually turned back to him and just looked at him like he was an alien straight from Mars.
"You got some kind of problem, son?" asked the hog, subtly affronted, with a particular concern that almost bordered on scathing—likely as scathing as anyone had ever seen the normally friendly hog be. That was an utterly bizarre and rude thing for the coyote kid to do, though, so perhaps it was to be expected.

Vade looked over at the boar, eyeing him over, as the realisation hits him he'd rather not mess with this guy. Throwing a glance at the people together with the hog, before he tilted his balance backwards to make his disk hover him away from the gathering again, while replying to the hog. "Er... No problems here... Don't mind me..."
That would be the point Vade made his hoverdisk take some more distance backwards, towards the dump truck again, sighing as he jumps off of the disk, letting it spin on the ground as it slowed down and eventually tipped over onto its side again. Vade had in the meantime landed on the edge of the dump truck, leaning forward on his legs as he just looked at the group.
Sighing annoyed, he knew that he blew his chance for some entertainment. But as curiousity killed the cat, so does Vade rather stick, making himself comfortable atop the vehicle as he just watched the entire scene unfold for now.
