With the resounding silence jack looked smugly at Target as her desire to goof off was firmly shot down.

"Hoji I bet the old doctor will be able to tell ya'll where ta start lookin' fer what we need. I recken I could stand ta look around and get a lay ah the land," She said as she leaned her elbows onto the table, pushing her plate aside. Just because it was all-you-can-eat doesn't mean she was going to stuff herself. Obviously she was keen on not mentioning the mission to get the emerald before it was stolen or won. But the two of them could be helpful, though Jack wondered why they'd entered at all if not for the rock.

"I'll have ta track down Mr. Vince later, yer welcome ta come of course," She said, nodding towards the newest additions to the table. This was of course a polite attempt to not shut them out, as they'd been brave enough to sit with them, and a chance to size up the would-be competition.

"Now, Rocket-saur, I think you missed introductions, I'm Jack, This is Target, Sheffer, Mako, Amber an' Hoji." She said motioning to each as she introduced them. "But more importantly...I don't think I understood half of what you just said..."

Disappointed Target slumped in her chair, crossing her arms and pouting. "I did."

Thought the effectively dead-to-the-world Randall, lost in thought at that moment considering the deliciousness of the potatoes, the possible chemical abnormalities of the eggs (as they were just slightly off-color), solving for the proper angle of take-off for a particular hypothetical escape scenario, and a few hundred other things. Only when he went to grab more salt did he notice any developments in the table around him.

Looking up from his plate, the winged yellow leader of the group was in the middle of rambling on about something or other. He decided it would be a good idea to listen in, just in case he was being mentioned.

"Now, Rocket-saur, I think you missed introductions, I'm Jack, This is Target, Sheffer, Mako, Amber an' Hoji."

Rocket-saur. That was definitely not a new one.

Noting Ember's reaction to whatever it was Jack had said previously, he assumed they were being invted along to something somewhere, something having to do with the benefactor of the tournament and . "The name is Randall. It's a pleasure to meet ya. I guess I could tag along, so long as we don't take all day. I have things to tend to." He said to the sherrif.

He shot a quizzical look at the voice that piped up an affirmative to knowing what he was babbling about. 'Now how can a little girl understand complex mechani-ohwaitthatsarobotnevermind..

"Cooome iiiin!" came a cheerful sing-song reply from the other side of the door, unmistakably in Henshin's crackly, wavering voice.

The door was unlocked. Inside, they'd find that the moth had indeed gotten up and about, and was hard at work setting up a field laboratory. That big, bulky metal luggage he was riding all over the place the previous day was indeed loaded with lab equipment, and itself unfolded into a large, metal desk. It consumed a good portion of the room, surely to roomies Hoji and Tank's exasperation.

"Sheffer and Mako!" he greeted as soon as they came in, and... surprisingly pleasantly. He didn't stop what he was doing, but he was being friendly, so he must have gotten plenty of sleep. "Are you needing something?"
