Now that I think about it, this could be an good opportunity to get Jacques back in the game -- though, maybe written a bit differently than before so he can actually fit in with folks better. Of course, Not sure if I'm throwing too much onto my own shoulders, with Fenn in-play now, and my offer to field some NPC folks. But then, it might be fine. Hmmmm.

It isn't raw numbers that we'll likely need help with; even a group of four or five would probably be plenty big. You'd probably be the biggest help just with the robots and Eggman-side forces alone. See, there's certainly enough people on board for this, but there's an ongoing lack of proven driving protagonists in this RP (and people active and driven enough to play'em).

I think we're hitting a brick wall with the leader character thing. I don't want to volunteer Tank for it because Greens has enough hassle keeping up with the RP simply as a participant.

I still want to see this done, but I guess the idea will be on hold for a few until we definitively have an active player with a credible, leaderly character. I know there was some talk about thinning the GUN ranks a bit after their first mission (not that it'll hurt them, since they have ten characters already), so I guess we'll see what comes of that.

I think Jack will be pulling out of the GUN side of things when its over. The news about Hoji and just her general concern for the well being of the citizens of Central City outweighs any dislike she has for Chimera or Rock. So she'll be a definite yes after the current mission is done.

I've already talked to Matt about this personally, but I thought I'd throw it out into the open. I have a character with the means and motivation to start a grassroots underground offensive initiative against Eggman: Tabby.

She has it in her personality to be a leader for a cause she believes in, which I daresay she would about this one. However, it's not something I'm yet committed to. One, the last time I played her, I sort of got soured on the character, herself, before I even really got a feel for her, and two, I would only do this if no other viable option presents itself, and, I would also probably drop Latika from the story entirely, because it'd be too much for me to play a driving character plus Lattie on the Eggmanside, and Lattie has no reason to stick with the GUN side of things.

Just saying, it's... a possible option, depending on how this pans out.

Guess we'll see where we are and what we have to work with as soon as the current main thread comes to a close. I imagine we probably have a few days left on it.

The possible routes I see right now are...

1. We could find a new use for Tab's little resistance movement, which could recruit various characters of any origin. Mie made the first offer to head this up (to me personally, not in this thread), though I would hate to drop it all on her to manage, given that she has a pretty mean work schedule.

2. Badge's friends (Tank and other Wild-Labs-related characters) could end up banding together to find him, since he's missing (presumably by Eggman's fault, judging by this Wild Egg character), and recruit some help along the way to fight Eggman. This would put the story mostly on Rachel, which, again, I hesitate to do, but this time, it's because Rachel is actually at work during our primetime hours, and her ability to post while at work may not continue into the coming month.

I would suggest some sort of merger or joining of forces, but I feel deep in my gut that Tab and Jack would not get along well enough as characters for that to work. Trying to think of some alternative here. Maybe something will come to us after we're done with the current thread.

Just putting it forth that I'm considering apping (read: "just need to write an app for") a new character (this one geared towards the Ablity To Get Meaningfully Involved Easily) to get myself back into the RP, and as per Mie's suggestion (at least I assume that's what that was) when I was preparing to throw money at her earlier, I'd totally be willing to put him forward on the Tab's-group front and help out there.
