This thing on? Good.

Hi everyone! ^^

As the name already suggests, I'm E1Alpha, though I have always listened to the nickname Alpha or E1 in my past RP settings.

I have been in so many different kinds of roleplaying scenarios I've lost count, both forum-based and in-game roleplay. Lately, I've been enjoying forum RP more than the latter. But as a Sonic fanboy ever since I was a kid, I have been longing for some good, hedgehog themed roleplay. Google has not disappoined me, as it seems I found myself a neat little home here.

I'm getting off-topic a bit...
I'm 18 years old and studying informatics, and I live in Belgium, in case for those that care about those boring facts. The more interesting facts now: I might be a Sonic fanboy, but my all-time favorite characters are Knuckles and Shadow for their general personality, history, behaviour and abilities. As for games, all sonic games I've played so far I found enjoyable. (No, I didn't play Sonic 06) But my favorites have to be Shadow the Hedgehog, SA2, Sonic and The Secret Rings and Sonic Generations.

On account of Roleplaying, I am very fond of action filled roleplays, though I can certainly enjoy many other kinds of roleplay. My characters vary, but most of the time, I will try to go for the kind of characters that aren't easily picked, always trying to make my character be in some way unique. I also really like involving my character in all kinds of things and have a bad tendency to sometimes give my characters a flirty edge, though not to worry, I love using Delete and Backspace on those parts before I post.

... Oh, and if you didn't notice yet: I can have a HORRIBLE sense of humor, so bear with me ^^

That covers about the basic things about me I guess. Now I just need to have my brain begin cracking to get my character up and running.

As much as we love getting new people, I should probably confront you with an unfortunate truth right up front: This group is based in North America, and almost all of its members have historically been from the United States or Canada. We do welcome folks from other continents to our chat and forums, but they can only join in on our actual RP if their online time happens to coincide with the evening hours in North America.

It's really just a matter of making sure that we're all functioning on a schedule that's at least similar, that way we can still interact in the IRC regularly, collaborate on posts, and keep posts from getting into the one-post-a-day slump that happens when you have one person on the other side of the globe that everyone has to wait on a reaction from before continuing on.

If your online time happens to work out like that, then great; if not, you may unfortunately be left looking further yet for groups that are Europe-based, or have less player interactivity.

Just thought I'd throw that out there before you spend any time working on your character, just in case it's a deal-breaker. Nonetheless, again, welcome.
