Let's keep this short and simple.

We left off in a rough place in the space story. What was supposed to be a short prologue dragged on because we lost some critical components (see: players) without warning. I'm not sure who we do still have, but as long as you guys are willing, we're going to dive back into it.

I'm going to start the ARK side back up with a post from Rock, progressing everyone toward the objective. From there, I'll take over NPCing if I need to. If I don't, then all the better, but my body is ready. I will do what is needed to get us to the delicious story-meat of this arc.

Meanwhile, Sheff is going to post as Sheffhog to get the race going. Let's be transparent for a moment: If you didn't already cotton on, the space race is just a premise for something else to happen. The race is not the draw of this storyline. It's just an excuse for some folks to be in space when they otherwise would not be. That said, if you're able to be involved in it at all, please, follow up on Sheffer's post and be involved, whether that means being a racer, or just posting your character watching the race from Vince's ship, or whatever. As long as your character is physically present in that region of space, you will find him or her forcibly involved in the story.

That is all. Summary:

- ARK thread is about to move. Hang on to your hats.
- Space race thread is about to move. Race itself is an excuse for other cool stuff to happen. Be there if you can. It's the easiest way to get involved in the core of the upcoming story.



Now, as for the mystery story...

I dunno. I was the last one to post in that, and I was previously just waiting for other people to continue on, but no one ever did, and no one breathed a word about the mystery arc in front of me after that, so I'm just going to chalk it up to an early loss of interest, maybe because of how long it took to get started (my bad), or whatever. I dunno. I give up for now. I'm just going to put my energy into helping the space storyline survive. (Apologies to Kazz, who went to the trouble of making a whole character for the mystery RP. We'll get out to that area at some point or another, mystery story or not, so hopefully Mr. Quixote-guy will be useful someday.)
