It pains me to say this, but we're done. Thank you to those who have participated and followed along these many years. We had a lot of fun, and your contributions will be remembered for a long time to come.

Strangers and visitors of the future, please respect what is ours. If there is anything in the form of writing or rules you'd like to borrow for your own RP, please e-mail me on the gmail account "onsoku" for permission. Chances are I'll grant it if you are a nice, intelligent person, and agree to just a few small stipulations regarding proper crediting method. But please, leave our characters alone. All fan-made, original, non-SEGA characters, character art, and concepts remain property of their respective creators. Please show respect and don't try to take any of them for your own use.

I hope that some of us will be able to move on and have some more fun writing hobbies in the future. No matter what, we'll stay in touch, and this group will live on, even if it has nothing to do with RP.

I love you guys. God bless.

A telephone conversation between Rekk and Rock that takes place smack in the middle of Session 1-3, starring the fabulous Jeff and Matt.

Back in Central City, Rekk had been having one hell of a time organizing everything since Eggman's last attack, so he was understandably a touch exasperated when he got a phone call on his personal cell phone that he didn't recognize.

Pressing a button on his cell, he sent the call to his headset. "This is Rogerz. Talk fast."

"Hey, Chief," rasped a dreadfully familiar voice, a smirk ringing clear in that sonuvabitch voice of his even over the loud squeak of what sounded like train brakes in the background. Knowing Rock, that tone meant he had news.

"Got a minute, man? I got some info for you."

"...Rock? This is-" Rekk paused for a moment as he focused in on the background for a second. "Where are you?"

"Yellow Desert," he replied. "Train station. Fell through an interdimensional portal in a giant crystal geode about two miles under a volcanic fortress island last night—Spat me out here."

He said it as matter-of-factly as if it was a wrong-turn detour at Fifth St. or something, but soon added: "And that ain't the crazy part."

"Oh, well, of course, I passed two crystal geodes on my way to work today." Rekk muttered, fishing through his desk for a notepad and a pen. He was sure whatever Rock was about to say, he was gonna wanna write it down.

"So what topped that, exactly?"

"Haaahhh, Eggman—Well, wait. Which you want first? The good news, the bad news, or the horrible news? Ah, hell, I'll start you on the good news. Good news, your ghost problem should be done with for now. Me and some guys I ran into broke into that island base. There was some crystal crap that he was usin' to channel'em, and to create a big portal. Portal's gone, crystal's gone, I think we collapsed the whole place."

He segued seamlessly into...

"... The bad news. Your SSD boys tried to screw us over, then got their asses smoked by Eggman. They might all be dead, dunno, might wanna look into that. Aaand, Eggman got away. Of course. And, some green hedgehog pocketed one of the Chaos Emeralds. Now, I think he's in the Yellow Desert sheriff's custody. She tried to freakin' arrest us all because the portal we escaped through burned their stupid park."

And lastly...

"Aaand, that brings me to the really bad news. Eggman somehow combined the Chaos Emeralds with the Sol Emeralds, whatever the hell those are. And I ain't never felt anything put off that kinda juice. I didn't even wanna get close to that s***. That poor hedgehog's probably gonna be a five-armed fire-breathin' mutant by the time anybody gets it out of him."

There was the sound of Rekk letting out a long long exhalation.

"So, the bullet point here is. There's a cataclysmically powerful Super Emerald that Eggman made out of regular emeralds and unicorn giggles, it got swiped by some hedgehog and said hedgehog is now in the custody of Sheriff Good Ol' Boy."

"You gotta secure that emerald before Eggman has....Robo-Sonic or Cyborg-Knuckles or Amyzilla show up and wipe out that whole place looking for it, Rock."

"But then I gotta deal with Sheriff Jack again... She hates my ass."

Rock let out a similar, albeit shorter and gruffer sigh. "I mean, I wanna help out, but can't you, like, gimme a badge or somethin'? So all these government types'll stop tryinn'a piss on my parade? Heck, man. You oughta just come with us. Be like old times."

"Hrug....I dunno if things can be like old times again, Rock. I can't just jump out to the Yellow Desert with no notice like some kinda cowboy. But..." He sighed. "If this is this bad...I can probably at least get you some kind of clearance or something. At least you've never tried to assassinate the president or anything..." He said rather...pointedly.

"...you have any idea where the rest of these Super Soul Emeralds are?"

Rock muttered something indistinct about being a changed man and about Rekk being a big insensitive jerk and something a little more vulgar but it got obscured by a train whistle.

"Anyway... I think he called'em Colossal Emeralds. ... Or Chaosol, or Chao...lotsal... whatever. But yeah, he only had one with him when we fought him. He sent the rest through the portal. They could be anywhere."

"Aaand we're assuming there's seven of 'em?"

"Were you hoping for The Eleven and a Half Chaos Emeralds?"

"Maybe I wanted a little variety."

"Alright..alright, this'll probably have some consequences, but I don't wanna leave some unstable Colossal Emerald in the hands of a hedghog and a sheriff long enough to cut through red tape here, so I'll get down there as quick as I can. Then we can focus on getting you some credentials and...I dunno, maybe G.U.N. will lend us a hand finding the rest..." He didn't sound terribly excited at that prospect, even as it was just a random musing.

Rock drew a breath like he was going to say something, but paused. One problem at a time.

"... I'm sure we'll get it sorted out. We always do, right?"

"....yeah. We do." Rekk said, as if it took Rock saying it to remind him. "One way or the other."

"I'll be out there ASAP. We'll figure out a rendezvous point when I'm closer, okay?"

"Sounds good," he confirmed. He sounded a little lighter in mood. "See you soon, man."

"See you soon, Rock." There was a momentary pause. "....say hey to Jam." Then, with a click, the call was ended.
