Sonic Spindash RP is closed.

Founded 05/25/2002 by three friends; ended 09/19/2012.

It pains me to say this, but we're done. Thank you to those who have participated and followed along these many years. We had a lot of fun, and your contributions will be remembered for a long time to come.

Strangers and visitors of the future, please respect what is ours. If there is anything in the form of writing or rules you'd like to borrow for your own RP, please e-mail me on the gmail account "onsoku" for permission. Chances are I'll grant it if you are a nice, intelligent person, and agree to just a few small stipulations regarding proper crediting method. But please, leave our characters alone. All fan-made, original, non-SEGA characters, character art, and concepts remain property of their respective creators. Please show respect and don't try to take any of them for your own use.

I hope that some of us will be able to move on and have some more fun writing hobbies in the future. No matter what, we'll stay in touch, and this group will live on, even if it has nothing to do with RP.

I love you guys. God bless.

-M

"Still in perfect tune; must'a just pl-What?"

Uh oh. Jam was already being a bad guest.

She looked up from her tuning efforts, the guitar dangling innocuously from her neck, as she fluttered an incriminating set of blinks, and reiterated, "Huh?"

She didn't look nearly as abashed as she should have, either, with the quarter inch cable woven sloppily between the fingers of her plucking hand, and her right diverting its attention between the tuning keys and the frets; she looked more surprised than anything, as though called from some kind of reverie.

Rock watched blankly. The corners of his mouth turned down as if to suppress smirks or sheepishness (hard to tell which).

"Yeah, sorry, she... she touches stuff."

Green held up a hand. "I know, it's... it's fine."

Something at the very bottom, the very edge of his tone indicated that no it's not fine oh god she's gonna drop it and I'll never be able to rock the universe again at least until I get another one but why is she holding it oh god, but if he could handle getting beaten up to hell and back in a fight, he could handle an energetic little primate touching stuff. Maybe.

"I'm certain my men will be willing to assist, so you can count them in too. I don't know what sort of impression they may have impressed upon you when you happened to meet, but I assure you that they have a remarkable tendency to... get things done."

"Jam please be careful."

"No worries, Verde," responded the offending monkey flippantly, as glove one and then its mate fell to the floor, as assisted by her teeth. Her fingers plucked out a snappy little groove that might have been familiar, were it not played an octave higher, and about three times faster than it should have, (not to mention on completely the wrong instrument), before giving Green's baby a succinct approving nod, and gently, lovingly, setting it back down in its cradle.

"Your boys always been a little on the quirky side 'a colorful, but no one here doubts for a second they deliver."

There was a very brief pause, wherein she let her deliberately mis-aimed assuage hang in the air a moment, before adding, "Also, I take better care of gear than I do my own siblings."

"They seem alright enough to me," observed Rock. He had set the yo-yo back down; perhaps he was enforcing a personal limit of we'll only mess with one thing that isn't ours at a time.

"It's the people who are all business all the time you have to worry about, anyway," he mused thoughtfully. "It's better that the chain of command start with folks we can trust. Just..."

He glanced toward the door and lowered his voice.

"Make sure Dizzy's... not... in command of anything more dangerous than a pushbroom."
