Updates Sonic Spindash RP is closed.Founded 05/25/2002 by three friends; ended 09/19/2012.
It pains me to say this, but we're done. Thank you to those who have participated and followed along these many years. We had a lot of fun, and your contributions will be remembered for a long time to come.
Strangers and visitors of the future, please respect what is ours. If there is anything in the form of writing or rules you'd like to borrow for your own RP, please e-mail me on the gmail account "onsoku" for permission. Chances are I'll grant it if you are a nice, intelligent person, and agree to just a few small stipulations regarding proper crediting method. But please, leave our characters alone.All fan-made, original, non-SEGA characters, character art, and concepts remain property of their respective creators. Please show respect and don't try to take any of them for your own use.
I hope that some of us will be able to move on and have some more fun writing hobbies in the future. No matter what, we'll stay in touch, and this group will live on, even if it has nothing to do with RP.

The monkey turned to the new arrival with a hopeful look, until he recognized the voice. Did Rock know Velo? Perhaps. Maybe it'd be better to say he knew of Velo, and leave it at that. Whatever the case, he let Tails do the greeting for the time being. Then, he noticed who was following the speedy reptile.
No, he didn't freak out or anything; he just put on a deadpan face, nudged Ace lightly with his elbow, and whispered, "I asked for a summer breeze, not a summer's eve."
At least he was long, long past being actively angry. Nicety was probably a far goal, though.

Ace just sort of adopted a certain expression as his shoulders slowly raised. He was caught between laughing, and just expelling air, but the end result was a sort of
"Heehhhh-hhh-hhh-hh-hh."
No, he didn't know enough about the guy (the orange guy, that is) to say if he agreed with Rock's metaphor, but nontheless, he found it at least somewhat funny, in an ashamed-to-think-that's even-funny kinda way.

Velo had just started to continue along on his merry way (it seemed helping them had not occurred to him) when the funny-looking fox kid with the mutant tails posed a question that made him stop. "Huh? Oh. Uh." Damn, that thing looked heavy. "Well, sure, uh... yeah. 'Kay."
He spread his legs and began stretching. "Gimme a sec' here."
He rotated his torso.
He touched his toes.
Twice.
He stretched his lanky arms up as far as they would go.
He cracked his knuckles.
He closed one eye and pointed his thumb at the sun as if its alignment had any implications in what he was about to do.
He rotated his torso...
And mercifully ended it there, stepping over to the plane and grabbing a share of it. "Okey-doke, let's get this poor baby off her back. Did you guys know that before I played baseball I was a competitive power lifter? Yeah, back then they called me Atlas Arms 'cause well I guess my physique was a little bit bigger than it is now, and..."
