Updates Sonic Spindash RP is closed.Founded 05/25/2002 by three friends; ended 09/19/2012.
It pains me to say this, but we're done. Thank you to those who have participated and followed along these many years. We had a lot of fun, and your contributions will be remembered for a long time to come.
Strangers and visitors of the future, please respect what is ours. If there is anything in the form of writing or rules you'd like to borrow for your own RP, please e-mail me on the gmail account "onsoku" for permission. Chances are I'll grant it if you are a nice, intelligent person, and agree to just a few small stipulations regarding proper crediting method. But please, leave our characters alone.All fan-made, original, non-SEGA characters, character art, and concepts remain property of their respective creators. Please show respect and don't try to take any of them for your own use.
I hope that some of us will be able to move on and have some more fun writing hobbies in the future. No matter what, we'll stay in touch, and this group will live on, even if it has nothing to do with RP.

No Femshep isn't really news, since Shepard is a man by default, but Joker =/= Seth Green? That's somewhat disappointing considering he COULD easily fit the role. They don't look terribly similar, but they don't need to be clones.

True, this is more just general info than anything overly bad and it seemed like it was worth posting on here as people were talking about the film in the chat a while back.
The only bad thing about this so far is that a lot of this early stuff sounds like the sort of thing which wrecked the Wing Commander film.

I'd much rather have characters who sound like the characters and don't look like them than characters who look like them but don't sound like 'em.

They don't look alike? I gotta call BS on that. Save for some minor differences in nose structure and facial proportioning (eye size, so on), Seth Green could have passed for the character's face model.  And Seth Green has a very specific voice, and a personality that is inherent in his voice and potentially inimitable. I too would prioritize the voice over anything else.

I can't understand why they wouldn't want Seth Green as Joker. The man IS Joker. Now I'm gonna watch it and be like, "That guy's not Joker."

Without Seth, and considering this "all new story" crap, I'm not gonna watch it at all. I'd rather preserve the story and characters as I know it in my head. Ignorance is very much bliss in this case.
