ITT: Greens and Charlie watch a Max Payne 3 stream
[00:56] Greens "In retrospect, I probably should have opened the door from some form of cover."
[00:56] Zaka Man. I think you were supposed to use slow-motion /
immediately/ dude!
[00:56] Greens "I really hated hindsight sometimes."
[00:56] Greens "Matter of fact, I can't remember when I was fond of it in the first place."
[00:56] Greens Hey I could totally write for this game
[00:56] Zaka Yeah man I read all of that in his voice.
[01:00] Greens "oh this is gonna hurt"
[01:00] Greens "ah good thing I landed on my hip bone"
[01:00] Greens "ow"
[01:00] Greens "ow, damn it"
[01:00] Zaka I just love these "and then Max fell and killed everyone in the room" moments
[01:00] Zaka That should really be this game's tagline
[01:01] Greens "It seemed like I was at my best when I was falling down."
[01:02] Zaka "Like all the killing was just how I slowed my fall so I'd be alive when I hit the bottom."
[01:02] Greens "The bullets were about as huge and lethal as my own gargantuan balls."
[01:02] Greens Wait.
[01:03] Greens No, scratch that one.
[01:03] Zaka "Except they were made as lead, where mine were crafted of steel gathered from the rings of Saturn."
[01:03] Greens

[01:32] Greens ...Man, I really feel bad for Max now.
[01:32] Zaka Be careful Max. If you get too drunk and fall down you'll kill everyone in the room.
[01:32] Greens /
Damn it Charles/ not the time
[01:32] Zaka I still don't think this tops the whole "finding your wife and baby murdered" bit
[01:32] Greens I do!
[01:33] Greens He's still not over that!
[01:33] Greens What do you think he's thinking about when he's in that /
depression/ mode?
[01:33] Zaka It's hard to tell what he's thinking
[01:33] Greens "My wife and baby are dead"
[01:33] Greens "My femme fatale is dead"
[01:34] Greens "This girl's gonna be dead"
[01:34] Greens "I might as well be dead"
[01:34] Zaka "My parents are deeeeaaaad"
[01:34] Greens "My parents are DEEEEAAAAD"
[01:34] Greens "My penis is dead, compliments of the booze and painkillers"
[01:34] Zaka "my liver is dead, for the same reason"
[01:34] Greens "My jacket is made from a dead cow"
[01:34] Zaka "I'm covered in the blood of 400 dead people."
[01:35] Greens "That's from Brazil alone"
[01:35] Zaka "I don't even know how many people I killed in New Jersey but I'm pretty sure I'm the reason they cancelled Jersey Shore."
[01:36] Greens "At least that's what I say to help me sleep at night"
[01:42] Zaka Yeah. Greens is choosing between Diablo and Max Payne
[01:42] Greens Sorry Rach, but it looks like you're gonna have to roll without me for a month or so.
[01:42] Zaka guess he just really needs to BRING THE PAYNE
[01:42] Rach What? theres actually indision? Don't be a fool Greens
[01:43] Ben indecision*
[01:43] Greens I realized then, everything Rachel was saying... every word of it was true.
[01:43] Greens I couldn't quit when I was so close to finding closure.
[01:44] Zaka Yeaaah...come Tuesday, Greens is gonna start talking funny. Better warn everyone.
[01:44] Zaka Well, funnier.
[01:44] Greens I'd already gone so far past the point of no return I'd forgotten what it looked like when I passed it.
[01:45] Greens Making excuses had gotten old a few thousand bullets ago.
[01:46] Greens I realized then, hiding under an office desk and dodging gunfire, that this game's soundtrack was #&*$ing awesome.
[01:46] Greens I'd have to download it the moment it became available.
[01:47] Zaka herp
[01:47] Greens That is, pay real American dollars for it.
[01:47] Greens Because I would never download that sort of thing.
[01:48] Greens I decided to quit with the piracy gags while I was still ahead, but couldn't stop myself from monologing out loud.
[01:49] Greens It suddenly became all too clear that I had stayed up far longer than I'd ever agreed to let myself go. The waking world was starting to feel like another dream in a long string of nightmares.
[01:50] Greens I was even starting to annoy myself with this bizarre brand of self-centered dialogue.
