It pains me to say this, but we're done. Thank you to those who have participated and followed along these many years. We had a lot of fun, and your contributions will be remembered for a long time to come.

Strangers and visitors of the future, please respect what is ours. If there is anything in the form of writing or rules you'd like to borrow for your own RP, please e-mail me on the gmail account "onsoku" for permission. Chances are I'll grant it if you are a nice, intelligent person, and agree to just a few small stipulations regarding proper crediting method. But please, leave our characters alone. All fan-made, original, non-SEGA characters, character art, and concepts remain property of their respective creators. Please show respect and don't try to take any of them for your own use.

I hope that some of us will be able to move on and have some more fun writing hobbies in the future. No matter what, we'll stay in touch, and this group will live on, even if it has nothing to do with RP.

I love you guys. God bless.

So, my final project in my penultimate class in culinary school requires me to design, create, and pitch a food service establishment in trade show format, and to produce a “signature item” from my menu in that pitch.

I want my restaurant to be a family-oriented Batman-themed restaurant with an international menu, as well as some old stand-bys for the children’s menu. I’m either going to go with “The Bat Cave” or “The Iceberg Lounge” for a name.

My menu must be huge. I have to come up with fifteen breakfast items, twenty lunch items, twenty dinner items, and no less than five types of hors d’ouvres. This is where you come in.

I need ideas. This is the kind of thing I’m looking at:
For a lunch entrée, I might pitch “Fancy Feast; Ahi tuna sauteed in butter and roasted black peppercorns with a light, yogurt and dill aoli, sure to please discerning cat-burglars, or the cats that own them.”

Or like, a huge, overstuffed beefy burrito overflowing with salsa verde. Or like, Mr. Zsasz pulled beef sandwiches.

That’s just a rough idea of the kind of thing I want to do, but I need themed dishes. So like, help me come up with stuff!
Tell me how I can make a dish out of Commissioner Gordon, or Nightwing, or The Mad Hatter.

I already have a couple of concepts simmering for characters that just make it too easy like, Two Face will be some sort of white and dark chocolate dessert, and for R’as I want some sort of Arabic dish with a dip, but I need waaaay more than I have. So throw ideas at me! I need a finalized menu in like … two weeks.

HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALP!!!

I will be the first to admit I know little in the way of food, 'specially fancy stuff like what you mentioned... but, I will throw myself in here and give it a shot. And while The Bat Cave mighty be a little... straightforward, perhaps explicit, subtleties are often lost anyway on young children, and it might be way too fun to be able for parents and kids alike to say "TO THE BAT CAVE" when pondering where they'd like to eat. Or maybe that's just me. Anyway.

Hmm... Gotta involve the Bat-Mite somewhere, like it or not. Prolly on the kid's menu. Maybe the unofficial mascot? But that's not a dish, need to think of a dish.

Commissioner Gordon ought to have a hearty but comparatively bland Cracker Barrel, southern-style breakfast old folks like to eat. Pancakes, sausage, eggs. That sort of thing.

Dick Grayson. Perhaps focus less on history as Robin, more as the Flying Grayson's? Menu entry should contain "Holy _____, Batman!" Food... nothing coming to mind.

Killer croc, definitely seafood. Or chicken.

Mad Hatter? Can't think of anything but tea. Come back to later.

Poison Ivy? Vegetarian dish.

Bane... probably a steak? Big steak.

Joe Chill's icecream? Too obvious. Some kind of frozen food... No, Mr. Freeze is better.

Ah! Utility Belt shish-kabob?

...

This is way harder than I thought it would be! I know all this crud about Batman and friends, but I have nothing on food. I'm sorry. I'll let you know if I come up with anything else, and maybe I'd be better at helping you write menu entries, but... My knowledge on restaurant dining is horribly limited.

...Harvey Bullock gets a burger, though.

How about a fancy pudding dessert for Harley Quinn? Then again I'm not sure how fancy pudding can get...

I suppose for the Mad Hatter tea would be best. But if food is needed maybe something that is normally served with tea such as tea cakes. Shaped like a hat.

I'm bad at this. :C

Another dessert thing could be Gotham Cops doughnuts.

As for the name Iceberg Lounge I prefer but really wouldn't remind people of Batman unless they are a fan. So The Bat Cave would prolly be best.

A good start maybe with a list of characters and then we can work on the dishes from there, I left out otherwise unknown characters. And included the biggest bits of his rouges gallery and a few middle men...

Bane - Greens is right, something meaty for banes dish, a steak or a anything meaty
Catwoman - seafood sounds about right
Clayface - moose? chilli also comes to mind for some reason...
Harley Quinn - harley is random. Maybe the daily special?
Dr. Hugo Strange -
Hush -
The Joker -
Killer Croc -
The Mad Hatter - pasta. And no I don't know why.
Man-Bat -
Maxie Zeus - ceaser salad? xD
Mr Freeze - Ice cream
Zsasz - pulled pork sounds good.
The Penguin - fish dish.
Posion Ivy - vegetarian dish, defiantly
Ras Al Ghul -
Red Hood -
Riddler -
Scarecrow -
Solomon Grundy - Monday special. heh, sorry.
Two Face - my first thought here is surf/turf. The desert dish Mie mentioned sounds good too. There's nothing saying a character couldn't have more then one dish, right?

Batman -
Robin - a mini version of the batman dish for the kids menu.
Red Robin -
Nightwing -
Batgirl -
Batwoman -
Comm. Gorden -
Barbra Gorden -
Birds of Pray - Some kinda chicken/duck dish?
The JLA - Appetizer sampler?
Teen Titans - this should probably be the name of the kids menu.

ugh. This would be a lot easier with say a list of dishes. If we had that we could just associate them with the character and write blurbs for it...

Commissioner Gordon should be like a Steak and Potatoes type deal. Barbara Gordon could be the female equivalent. What's the female equivalent of Steak and Potatoes… Possibly lamb and something?

A possibly nice touch for Catwoman's seafood thing would be involving some kind of cream sauce.
