This is just some meaningless nonsense fun, but the idea occurred to me because of the way that Greens addressed Matt and I's Christmas present: What would your character like for Christmas, and what would they spend the day doing?

Bored and inquiring minds want to know!

Let the shenanigans commence!

WAIT WAIT. Before this gets off the ground, I want to expand the question:

What would your character get for another character in the cast?

As for what Rock would want for Christmas... man, it's hard to say. He's not really the type to play games or anything. He'd probably like music, but apart from that, he's one of those people with expensive hobbies. Y'know, the airplane, motorcycle, stuff like that... At risk of making him sound like some sort of dad, he'd probably appreciate and find a use for any kind of tool gift.

If he had to buy Jam something... assuming it's in the midst of the current story, it'd probably be something ridiculous like a pair of brass knuckles. It'd go well with electric punches.

And he'd probably buy Ace a knife, because a man needs a good knife. And he'd get Caz a... uh... hat.

What would Mako do?
Well, considering the fact that his boxing match is upcoming at the moment, he probably wants full-on football padding and helmets.
Nah. Uh. Probably anything edible, or really funky, corny counterfeit junk from the bargain bin at the local grocery. Preferably with terribly-translated rubbish text on it. He's an easily amused fish.
Aaand, outside of stuffing himself until he explodes, he'd probably spend it getting his tail soundly kicked at whatever video game his sister got and is challenging him to.

Regarding what he'd get for other people in the cast...
Hoji gets comic books. Lots of comic books. In case he needs any superhero inspiration, y'know.
Jack gets a brand new hat. (He wants to know if he can have her old one, cough cough).
Tank gets a poncho. He doesn't know why, he just feels that Tank really needs a new poncho.
And of course, Sheffer gets... ... wait for it, wait for it... Body glitter. And a full set of whatever it was I named the in-universe Twilight books (Sundown I think).

What would Murdoch do?
He wants BEER.
He'll spend it with BEER.
He'll give everyone BROKEN JAWS.
RAAAARGHHHHH.

And since Rodolf hasn't appeared IC yet I'll just leave it at "being forced to wear a glowing red fake nose at the mall".

Hoji's wishlist would consist of things like Stay-Puft Caffeinated Marshmellows, t-shirts with comic book characters on them, games, Legos based off of sci-fi movies... Anything nerd-chic.

Oh, and some dangerous untested contraption from Dr. Henshin is expected.

For Tank, he'd probably get a custom acoustic guitar with his name emblazoned on it or something, and maybe a new sombrero.
For Dr. Henshin, one of those packs of Summer Sausage, crackers and cheese.
For Jack, a brand new duster jacket!
For Mako, a How-to book regarding self-defense
For Sheffer, a $50 gift card to some local X-gear centric store.

Jam would want
Jam would be plenty happy with new pairs of gloves (she's forever burning through her supply -- literally), stuff for Wootie (her bass) like straps, or funky pick guards, or new strings, etc., or any kind of candy or travel-friendly, not-very-perishable junk food. She enjoys the vidya games, too, but doesn't have the means to play what with all her adventurin' and what not.

Jam would give
You're probably happier not knowing what she'd give Rock. Kidding. ... Maybe.
For Caz, she'd get a iToots gift card for the m00sics
and for Ace, maybe a replica collectible Bolt Boar ring to go with his snazzy T-shirt.

Jam would do
After pushily speeding through her own family's Christmas proceedings, she'd rush over to Rock's house, and spend the rest of the day with him (and to a lesser extent, his parents).

(WARNING WARNING I may or may not have put far more thought than I should have into this.)


I'm gonna do Tank first, 'cause he's probably easier to do this kinda thing with. He strikes me as the type... that might actually enjoy one of those godawful, gaudy Christmas sweaters, but also anything that might bring his homeland closer to him in a festive way, like an old record of folk songs, or a foreign coffee maker.

For Hoji, he'd get a SOMBRERO.
For Jack, he'd get a SOMBRERO.
For Mako, he'd get a SOMBRERokay fine I'll do it for real.

For Hoji, he'd get... one of those superhero glossaries full of color illustrations. Something like that.
For Jack... maybe a perfume? A cowgirl perfume. But a good one. One that doesn't smell like horses.
For Mako, 20 dollars, a tail-sweater, and those little gummi-hamburgers. Kids love those things.
For Sheff... the same as Mako, but no tail-sweater, and replace the hamburgers with chocolate coins.
Dr. Henshin... man, I dunno. He'd probably just act all reserved and dissapointed about whatever he got him. Maybe a big bottle of spiced prune juice.


Ace! Ace would appreciate... Ace would...

...Ace would probably be really hard to shop for. Might enjoy a video game, movie, or t-shirt. He does have a secret hobby of cooking, though, so he might actually appreciate some cooking-ware. (That silicone spatula looks really handy. [Though he would certainly appreciate that knife, as well.])

For Rock, he'd get... a flashlight. He'd get a big, hardy, durable-ass flashlight. One you could potentially use as a club. On a hunch.
For Jam... Oh, that's hard. He'd probably have to ask Caz for ideas. Other than that, a CD, maybe? Yikes. Good thing this thread is out-of-canon.
For Caz, something sort of kitschy and unique, amongst other gifts. She'd totally dig a snuggie, or two thirds of the things shown here.

And since Caz's eclectic tastes have just been explained, I'll just skip to what she'd give...

For Rock, she'd get... fuzzy dice. No real reason. Just, fuzzy dice. And maybe some sunglasses. (Shows how she sees Rock.)
For Jam, I'm gonna say, a candy dispenser. Maybe of a headbanger, or something. You'd press his head down, and candy would come out.
Ace would get his cooking ware, but then she'd feel bad about it because she can't possibly imagine how cooking could be that fun, and then add in a video game he'd shown interest in at some point. And they'd spend a good portion of the day playing it while sharing their shiny new cherry-red snuggie.

All Vince wants for Christmas is for more people to love him.

As such, he would spend the day organizing all sorts of festive holiday celebrations.

And, not to any specific character, but he would probably give some of his closer relations some casino credits to gamble with. And then have hopes that they wouldn't stop at just their last credit, hahaha.



... Man, my answer's boring. What does Jacques want?

Hmm... He would want... minty-related articles from his friends, and possibly a set of golf clubs, or a nice wine.

He would spend the day playing Santa Claus at the department he works for, giving treats and goodies alike to his staff!

And...

He would probably give folks a candycane basket coupled with a nice wine as well.

Methinks I need to broaden my characters' relationships a bit more.

Ember would want a big wheel of fancy cheese. Or a new lighter. Or something cheese and/or fire related.

As for what she would give I dunno. Seeing as she hasn't made SUPER GOOD BUDDIES with anyone. So prolly just invite them over for a bonfire. Which doubles as what she would be doing. Two birds with one stone.

Terra? Terra would want a holiday bonus and a day off to spend with her family. If she gifts anyone other than her family it would be some home-made cookies for Vince. Since her mother makes way to much anyways.

Coop would—Coop would probably not get anyone anything for christmas. Actually, if he was going to get anyone anything, the only thing I could think would be giving Ember some exploding string and a blasting cap. Also some rudimentary safety tips like 'please never try and crimp the blasting cap with your teeth.'
