It pains me to say this, but we're done. Thank you to those who have participated and followed along these many years. We had a lot of fun, and your contributions will be remembered for a long time to come.
Strangers and visitors of the future, please respect what is ours. If there is anything in the form of writing or rules you'd like to borrow for your own RP, please e-mail me on the gmail account "onsoku" for permission. Chances are I'll grant it if you are a nice, intelligent person, and agree to just a few small stipulations regarding proper crediting method. But please, leave our characters alone. All fan-made, original, non-SEGA characters, character art, and concepts remain property of their respective creators. Please show respect and don't try to take any of them for your own use.
I hope that some of us will be able to move on and have some more fun writing hobbies in the future. No matter what, we'll stay in touch, and this group will live on, even if it has nothing to do with RP.
I love you guys. God bless.

I knew City Escape would make it in. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t68aeAbUu4gI still dunno what to think, but so far, I feel more positive about this than any other Sonic game in a very long time. EDIT: Go to ~36 seconds (around the truck sequence) to see wanted posters of Bean, Bark, and Fang.

I really liked how Green hills looked in classic mode, But not so much in modern sonic mode.. The opposite seems true for Escape from the city this time, Modern looks nice, but i'm not into the classic version.

I'unno. I'm diggin' the skateboard powerup. It seems kitschy and 90s enough for Classic Sonic.

Hoo boy, do I approve of this. I knew without doubt that City Escape would make it, but for both styles of gameplay, its lookin' pretty sweet. Kind of neat how they managed to include the G.U.N.-Semi-Truck-Of-Speeding-Doom into the Classic Sonic stage.
Let's just keep hoping they don't manage to screw this one up.

Actually, read a preview a few minutes ago saying that they are going to have the same song.... except each stage will be slightly different, and the modern one has brand new lyrics next to the ones already in existence.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_xgF51zE ... r_embeddedAlthough recorded from some convention or another (which explains the sub par quality), the song playing in the video is supposedly the official track for the classic level. Dunno if I really approve of this remix, mainly for the fact it just doesn't fit the level in my eyes. Hope they just keep the original track for the modern stage and leave it at that.

Last I remember, it was said that Tony Harnell and such got the gang back together for a re-recording of the song for the new game -- whether that means solely the 'classic' take on the stage, or for both versions, t'is uncertain.

Why the heck is there auto-tune? That's not right.

I dislike autotone/vocoder/whatever as much as the next person with ears, but I think it's the plodding dullness of this mix that I'm not terribly fond of. I'm incredibly indifferent to it overall.
On the same topic, anybody else hear that new Sonic Boom? I lost the link. The recording quality of the version I had was terrible, but even bearing that in mind, it was hard to be impressed. Music-wise, I'm starting to think they would have been better off turning things over to somebody like those people who do Sonic stuff for OCRemix, or something.

Fortunately, not every track in the game is going to have lyrics, and that seems to be the only areas they... haven't been remixing well. The Green Hill remixes were okay in my opinion, though.

Oh. Yeah. Sonic Boom. Forgot about that one.
I am appreciative of the attempt to bring back a song I enjoyed for the Anniversary, but I don't think it should have been Crush 40 trying to do it. I didn't particularly care for the cover.
