Pfff. This advertising campaign is off the wall redonk.

These old ladies were so snooty, but it was kind of mean to throw this at them with zero context of what it was they were seeing. (Also, very sad that the one lady had no idea what Earth looked like.)

This ad campaign shall be added to the list of things I don't like about Dead Space.

I still think it's unfair that you judged the game by jumping into the middle of it on easy difficulty, running around suicide-stomping things with no concept of the story or how to play. It's a good game, and more fun gameplay-wise than the Mass Effect series.

Oh, no, I'm fine with the gameplay. I just don't like how everyone insists it's a horror game. But I don't like this ad campaign either.

It's Resident Evil in Space. That's why people insist that it's a survival horror game.

It's a lot scarier than RE, but you wouldn't know that since you played a sliver of the game with no context. Lots less ammo, too, on higher difficulties. It's more survival. The opening gameplay even establishes it by killing people off and throwing enemies at you before you have any way to defend yourself.

Just because the entire game isn't a mountain of rusty wheelchairs with some Freudian monster-rapist BS doesn't mean it isn't horror.
