Those of you whom enjoy minecraft multiplayer might be interested to know I've had a server running for roughly half a year now. The server is features several themed areas, from massive artificially assisted forests and deserts to an assortment of various sized serve owned towns.

The server also features an assortment of plugins to assist in keeping the servers intended play environment. Some of the servers more notable plugins are Iconomy, Towny, working skylands and more. The server also has a guest system( To prevent random griefers) enabled so you'll have to request being bumped out of guest mode if your new wish to stick around to build.

Any one from the group, or their friends, is welcome to join the server and pick out some region of their own to build in. The only restrict on the server is that it's intended to be a more medieval themed environment, meaning No pixel art and the like.

For those of you who play mine craft i recommend updating to the newer Java runtime environment 7 http://download.java.net/jdk7/.

It's a pre-release version, However, it works much more efficiently then JRE6. Overall this uses quite a bit less ram and CPU power to run minecraft.

As a new major minecraft patch is expected soon please keep in mind that, as with every major patch, the server may may not update to the new version right away. This is because it takes time, some times a few hours, some times a few days, for the team who develops the server software i use (Bukkit) to create a new version.

I try my best to keep the server,and it's plugins, as up to date as possible, but alas i can not update somthing that does not exist yet.. As such if you wish to play on the server the day of the patch please refer to this (As found on their forums..)

"If you're using the new Minecraft launcher, you have a choice on whether or not you want to update to the latest Minecraft release - simply choose "Not now" when it asks if you want to update and you can continue to play on your pre-update Minecraft server."

Server is now up and running on minecraft version 1.8. in addition it now features a more indepth RPG system.
