By all means! It's awesome to hear you're still interested. Bring it on. We'll be getting more information on what the heck is going on as soon as the space story arc ends, which should be "soon" (you know how that word is around here). Estimating a week or so if we can actually get some posting in. Suffice to say that it will be very, very easy to be involved in this one, though. |

A little update for those still following and waiting: In a classic gaming sense, the space arc (Chapter 3b) is pretty much in the "final boss" stage. There are no more threads remaining in it. The next thread to be posted after it will be the start of Chapter 4, and with it will come more information on exactly what this next story's gonna be about. Yeah, I know it's hard to plan involvement without specifics, but, it'll come soon enough. Chapter 4 going to be operated like chapters 1 and 2 (nothing experimental and no new management, in other words), but still not entirely on rails or anything. So far, we don't really have anything planned except the very beginning of the story. A lot of it depends on how the character cast reacts to that "intro," and what they decide to do. In other words, I don't want to pigeonhole anyone's character into choosing a certain path, but once we get an idea of the "lay of the land" and see how our cast reacts, we'll start figuring out more specifics in advance. In the meantime, Chapter 3a (the mystery story) will continue on. I would estimate that it has two more threads in it. We could get through them very quickly, but at our current posting rate, I'm not sure we'll get through them at all. As such, anyone who would rather drop out of it and move on to chapter 4 may—I won't stop you—but if too many heavily-involved people or anyone too critical drops, it'll probably just be called a dead story, and be closed with an epilogue. |
