Chapter 3b, AKA the outer space story arc, is now officially on its last legs. We tried a new way of running things, and it's probably been the roughest time we've ever had with a story. No big secret there; everybody knows it by this point. We're runnin' on fumes, here. But, that's just how it goes with adventurous new stuff sometimes.

The story has the potential to be closed up in a conclusive and tasteful manner in one, maybe two threads. If the four or five of you who are still interested want to try to ride it out and finish the storyline, it can be done. You have to actually want to, though, and try to make it happen.

Here's the deal: If this story has any more stalls—if anyone who is being relied on to keep the story moving breaks the inactivity rules (such as by not using the Posting Activity Thread when applicable, not communicating, etc.)—it's done. For the sake of someday involving new people again, and for the sake of not driving off the people we have who are just plain sick of this story, we need to finish.

So, if you're getting any enjoyment out of it, please help keep it moving, or we're done here. Fun is the goal of an RP, and it's dangerously close to "not fun" for me right now, but I'm doing what I can to preserve order. The next time you hear from me about this, though, it'll either be because we've finished chapter 3b with a big, happy finale, or I've locked it down permanently and begun work on chapter 4.
