I think what the RP needs is a good, old-fashioned session night where we all gather in the chat and just have some fun posting. RP gets disengaging and dull when it's too spread out and threads take too long, so I think it'd be a good blast of life. This weekend isn't good for some of us, and I'll personally be away for a few days next week, but next Friday and onward, I'll be loose. I know no one in this group really has a robust nightlife, so, I'm going to get us rolling by suggesting next Friday night, the 17th, at 6:30PM Eastern (That's 4:30PM Mountain for our South Dakotans [and Greens too]). If that day is bad for too many folks, then we'll pick another. Whatever the case, if you're a currently-active member and want to participate, just post here so we can get an idea of whether or not the night will work out. If it goes over well, we may make it a regular thing. |

Consider Friday night a definite plan, then. No offense to anyone who cannot or will not make it, but, no matter what, even if it means we have to strike a thread dead where it stands, timeskip, and reposition characters wholesale, those who show up will have something to do. We'll figure something out, and barring some sort of unfortunate emergency situation (which I can never rule out with my family), I'll be there to make it happen. |

Aaand, it turns out both Mie and I have a prior engagement that I forgot about on Friday night, Ben and Rachel have work Friday night, annnd, yeah. You guys are still completely and totally welcome to go ahead with it. I know some of you may have skipped out on other stuff you could've been doing that night (or at least Greens did with karate). I'll be around on the weekend, but I don't wanna make anybody reschedule on account of me. If anyone wants to try Sunday night, though, we'll be around. |
