When gravity went and inverted on them (or rather, when the ship stopped diving so fast that everything was falling upward), Casey very briefly got kind of... tangled. He was holding the rope, his leg was wrapped around a rail; suddenly, he was upside down, his ankle was at a weird (painful) angle, and he was all sorts of confused and just dangling there with his gut tensed and his face bright red from the strain of being upside down.
And then he got hit by a waterfall! This flushed him out of place effectively, though it did little for his well-being.
That pretty much sums up Casey's involvement in that entire mess: flushed. He went straight through those doors without even the ability to complain.

The doors soon clamped and latched shut, the airship (submarine?) leveled out, and the madness began to subside, with the floor finally truly acting as a floor, and a stationary one, at that. The chamber they were in seemed to essentially be the belly of the beast, the the dead center of the ship—the cargo hold. And, it now held... three and a half feet of water! Some of the cargo was tied down, but the bulk of it was loose and free, and was effectively all over the place. Some lighter boxes, cardboard and full of who-knows-what, bobbed around gently in the new green-watered swimming pool that comprised the entire room. Fluorescent lights overhead starkly, sickly lit everything, mixed with the yellow, spinning alarm lights. There was one really big, monolithic crate, about fifteen feet tall, and even wider than that, in the middle of the chamber. It would have been easily overlooked in all the chaos if it didn't suddenly start bumping and jolting. A single metal fist erupted through the boards. It cranked around, twisted, pulled back, and then— BOOM.The entire thing exploded into splinters as an enormous, Egg-pawn-shaped, gleaming robot, an Egg Hammer, stepped forward and raised its utterly immense weapon overhead. The war hammer, easily big enough to fit a few Caseys inside, glanced off the low-clearance ceiling with a shower of sparks, whirled, and then came ferociously blasting down at no one in particular, sending a tidal-wave-like blast of water rushing at all four walls, probably taking every single party member with it. They were going to have to fight this thing in a room less than a hundred feet across, with water that was standing chest high for most—enough to require at least the shortest party members to swim if they couldn't fly. Worst of all? It was hardly even knee-high on the robot, so the thing moved around virtually unhindered. And it was coming for them. All of them. It seemed happy enough to start with Pax, slowly lumbering his direction with hammer raised. (It truly figured that it would aggro on the squishy team leader first.)

Paxton wasn't a very tall individual. Roughly three and a half feet of water came up at neck height, leaving the dog forced to stand on the tips of his toes to keep the water from splashing over his face constantly. But being knocked back by a wave into another metal wall had knocked Pax for another loop. Still dazed and disoriented from the constant swapping of up and down, it took the canine a moment to climb back on his feet and emerge from the water, coughing from the little that made its way into his throat.
When he finished coughing, he looked up to see what the robot was doing, and stared at it with bleary eyes. Seeing it approaching him--specifically him, with its hammer raised, it didn't take long for the need to move quickly to establish itself. "Oh, crap."
Taking in a deep breath, the agent dove under the water and swam as fast as he could around the edge of the cargo room, heading towards some of the crates that were still tied down.
In another part of the room, Tyra swung her head out of the water. Being as tall as Pax and a less capable swimmer, staying on her feet was difficult and tedious. Her first impulse was to grab onto one of the floating crates and try to pull herself out of the water, coughing and spitting. Trying to rub the salty brine out of her eyes, she looked up at the giant metal menace that was currently worsening Paxton's life. "Does anyone have any ideas how to kill the giant %$*#-off robot?!" she called out.

Welp...
It seems that the current situation fits the idiom "Out of the frying pan..." if only in the most figurative sense, because things just went from bad to worse. Though not immediately evidenced, they were now swimming in a chamber. But at least they were upright properly again. Ivan was a good 3 feet and change, so he was wading around. If that wasn't bad enough, they had to wade around while dealing with a big-ass hammer dude who just burst out of a big crate in the room.
Ivan took a deep breath, and crouched where he was(submerging himself in the process) before making a mighty leap out of the water, and toward the monstrous Egg pawn with hammer. It was hard to tell just how tough it was by looking at it, but there was one way to find out. In mid-flight, he reoriented himself feet first, throwing both feet at it's body in a double kick.

The Egg Hammer staggered and clanged in response to Ivan's colossal bunny-power-kick, but amazingly did not dent. It did divert its attention from Pax, however, and take a huge, widely-telegraphed swat at Ivan with its hammer, sending another mini-tidal-wave in the process.

Ivan did a quick backflip off of the robot and landed back in the water, only to have that hammer come down on him. He ducked under the water to swim away. He narrowly avoided the hammer, and the little tidal wave sent him soaring through the water until a bolted down crate stopped him.
"Ngghhblrbl!" He flailed, and scrambled to his feet to get some air. He gasped as his head emerged from the murky depths, flipping his head back to get one of his floppy ears out of his face.
"He be pretty damn tough," he assessed.

Being a fish herself, Avatar was perfectly at ease in the water. When the wave hit - being already under the water - the piranha just let it carry her to the wall, and when she was close enough, she flipped and kicked off it back towards the robot - who apparently gained a liking for Pax.
And then Ivan - after his boot to the head though. Which gave Avatar an idea.
"Yo, Everyone! That thing has really short legs and probably can't float. If we knock it onto it's back, I bet it'll be stuck." The piranha called. "We all just gotta hit it's front at the same time. While it's down, we can wreck it."

Meanwhile, a patch of water began to froth and swirl, churning with some unknown force. Abruptly, though, the surface parted to reveal a vortex of green, revealing the glistening rock ball that was the spindashing Geoff. A consistent jet of water spewed out from behind him as he spun, enough acceleration and force being present to rid of the water in his immediate vicinity, causing an indentation not unlike a whirlpool. Avatar's words were probably lost on him with his partial submersion, but he was still obliviously going along with the proposed plan.
Finally, the hedgehog shot forward with an ever-present, whirling screech of velocity, gaining height as he sloped up through the water like an emerging beast of the deep. In a matter of a second, he would be slamming into the over sized Egg Pawn with a cacophony of grinding crystal and metal. Little did he know how much tougher this new target was compared to its smaller, redder brethren, and that was without the giant pillar of steel that was its hammer.

Things were happening so fast tonight. They had finally made it beyond the horrid Pinball Water-Slide Corridor, being thrown into a more sizable room relatively submerged in water (which Fenn, given his height, couldn't quite stand up in) -- and then, without warning, a giant crate exploded to reveal a rather monstrous version of the machines they'd tangled with earlier, who then proceeded to swing around a hammer the size of a car, turning the whole room into some kind of a tidal wave pool.
Fenn realized he was dealing with a lot of dangerous amusement park rides tonight.
After one of the waves carried him to the far end of the room, thwacking him against the wall, the panda grimaced slightly as he attempted to gather his bearings, still working to keep himself afloat. Amidst it all, he watched as his fellow teammates began to make attempts to at least dent the beastly machine while he tried to think up some sort of a plan as well...
That's when he heard Avatar mention something about the legs... And knocking it over...?
It was certainly pretty top-heavy. The legs looked good enough to keep it from being as waterlogged as they were, but... what if...
"Waaait, wait! Wait, where's... the big guy! Casey! Hey, wherever y'are.." -- and then Fenn had to cough-spit out seawater that flowed into his mouth while he was yelling. "Hgh-hk-hwuaaarghhowdofishstandthisstuff Case', just -- If y'got ammo left, maybe y'can blow the stupid thing's leg clear off!" Surely, such a beast couldn't stand on one leg, not with the kind of crazy weight distribution it already had going on with the massive body and the mallet it was swinging around. Hopefully, the gunman's ammo wasn't susceptible to water damage. Fenn almost prayed that it wasn't, primarily because it was so cool to watch.
In the meantime, Fenn swam to keep from drinking more ocean water.
"Hpfth..."

Jacks solid object was an exposed pipe, so when the monster of a robot smashed his hammer into the ground, sending the wave out, Jack luckily already had a sound hold of something to keep from getting knocked around anymore. Jacks wings started to flap, shaking off the water as she released the pipe. Luckily she was in the air before the next wave sloshed across the room.
The Avatar did have a few good points, the joints on the robot did seem to be the thinnest part of its armor, Jack upholstered her weapons realizing the hedgehog was moving to strike. As Geoff launched himself she took at shot at the knee joint for the robot. Her bullets didn't have the destructive power of Casey's but she hoped she could at least do some damage to the massive robot.

Casey had largely been busy just plain battling the waves. He was easily tall enough to stand over the water, but he was just disoriented, dizzy, and pained from the fall, so he still hadn't gotten his bearings, especially with the sheer amount of seawater he had been gulping down. So, when Fenn called him into action, the reaction was a little funny.
"Oh, good," he sputtered, readying his gunarm as best he could, "I thought you were gonna try to get me to tackle it 'cause I'm the 'big guy'!"
Well, it did sound like that at first.
He took aim. It was with some hesitation that he fired, just because the room was so chaotic, and he wasn't sure of who or what he would shoot, but he did his best to keep his dispensation of hell to a tight, well-controlled cone aimed for the thing's right leg. Given the circumstances, though, his aim was not all that good.

While Jack's shots were spot on, and Casey's not quite so, neither seemed to do a whole lot of good. Jack's little revolver rounds ricocheted off without even a ding or spark, and Casey's much larger caliber rounds didn't do much more. The target was just too small for him to hit in such turbulent circumstances.
Even Geoff outright bounced off with a big bang and clang, succeeding only in repeating what Ivan had accomplished by sending it staggering once more, or so it appeared at first. Soon, it became apparent that, in their combined efforts, a sizable dent had formed on its chest.
Fed up with trying to chase one target after another, the robot decided to try a new approach: swing at everything. It held its hammer out, gripped it tightly, and began to whirl in a mad circle. It spun with such force that the bottom edge of its tremendous mallet, scooping just into the water, began to actually form a vortex. Even the good swimmers were no longer completely safe; soon, cargo was tumbling once more, sucked into the stormy dervish.

The day and all its various surprises were accumulating, and Latika, having just shoved the hitchhiking crab robot off of her head, was only beginning to reorient herself. She cast a bleary-eyed look around the battlefield watching the Egg Hammer shrug off everything they'd yet hit it with, when the little Crabmeat bumped into her again on the way toward the metal menace. She frowned, rubbing at her shoulder, when along came a large crate, pretty much mowing the poor porter down on its way.
The loris erupted from the water looking utterly pathetic, cheeks puffed out indignantly before it became woefully apparent that these were the least of her troubles. Suddenly, she felt inclined to swirl her way toward the huge, revolving hammer, too, despite her best efforts to kick and fight against it, only managing to stop herself by virtue of a big, heavy-duty pipe she'd just barely managed to grab hold of before rushing by.
Out came her own revolving hammer; not nearly as intimidating as her foe's, perhaps, but it whirled over the porter's sopping head, cutting through the air with a swooping heft to it before, with a grunt of effort, she fired the head and its long, trailing tail straight at the hulking robot's legs.
The meteor hammer dutifully hurtled into the vortex, and the line snapped taut; bracing herself against the pipe, Latika heaved at her end of the rope.

The spin cycle stopped abruptly when the robot came to the end of its rope—or the end of Latika's rope, that is. It had managed to wind its own legs up in the rope several times over, leaving it well bound.
It flailed its arm and its hammer in a desperate struggle to maintain balance as it slowly teetered to one side.

Today seemed to just be one of those days. Rocket Propelled hang gliders, world's deadliest water slide, and now the spin cycle from hell. Ivan tried his damnedest to hold onto the bolted down crate that he was near as the whirling waters churned, with the intent of sucking him right into the hammer.
He didn't get to hold on for long, as a loose carboard box smacked him in the face sending him spiralling toward certain doom. With some measure of luck, however, or expert timing on Latika's part, the spin cycle stopped before he could meet the hammer face to head. He scrambled to his feet as the water settled back down, gasping for air and simultaneously rubbing his head where he was smacked by debris.
It didn't take him long to realize the robot was teetering. Perhaps it was an invitation? Ivan leaped once again toward the robot to give it the nudge it needed, throwing another hard kick at it's body. If he could stagger it before, it stood to reason that in it's tangled and teetering position, he could topple it.
