Pax watched with a good amount of awe as Casey simply reduced the pair of problems into non-problematic piles of plates and gears. With nothing more than an impressed "Huh," he stood up from his spot and proceeded towards the doors, eyes swinging left and right in case any other threats decided to pop out of the woodwork. "If it is restricted," he said to Latika as he headed towards the aforementioned security door, "it won't be for much longer. I'm a GUN agent for at least one reason, after all." Paxton looked confident as he withdrew his black PDA, which gave off a faint blue glow as he activated it. Heading straight for the keypad next to the door, he leaned forward and eyed it closely. "OK, let's see what we're dealing with here...keypad and magnetic card reader, it looks like..."
A still-shaky Tyra was all too eager to make her way across the ship bay, as far away from the ship's airborne exterior. Giving her arms strong flicks back and forth, as if trying to shake off her poor nerves, she situated herself right next to metal scrap piles that used to be a pair of robots. She looked genuinely impressed by how much Casey had wrecked the bots. With a brief whistle of admiration, she turned to the hog. "Hey, where can I get onna those things?" she asked, staring right at his gun arm.

Fenn stepped out from behind Geoff, grinning from ear to ear. "I, for one, would love to hear that story - particularly what inspired it in the first place..! Just.. wow. Wow." Fenn promptly pulled a tiny notepad out from his coat before jotting some quick, excited notations about Casey's literal firearm. His eyes were practically alight with inspiration, which could've been a good thing, or... well...
Experiments would be done later.
Stuffing the items back into his pocket, the panda surveyed the hog's handiwork with those eager eyes, before turning his attention to what Pax was up to. Which was also quite interesting to him. So much so, that he pretty much silently made his way on up to the GUN agent and peered inquisitively over his shoulder.
...
"Y'know, I got somethin' kinda like that at home, too..."

The teen piranha - who had followed Geoff, Fenn and Tyra to the launch bay - also got to witness the hog's arm in action, to which she muttered "That's pretty cool."
She also heard the others' comments towards it - including the wolverine's, and she had the perfect response toward it. It was so perfect, she couldn't not use it. So Avatar put on a sadistic, yet playful sort of smirk and looked over at Tyra saying; "Maybe if you get your arm cut off somehow," the fish shrugged and closed her eyed before continuing. "He'll make you one."

Ivan grinned at Geoff's lack of interest in the story behind Casey's gunarm, and by contrast, Fenn's interest. His grin grew wider when the wheel's in his head turned.
"Ya sure about that, matey? It actually be a pretty funny story," He said in response to Geoff as if he knew it. Given their history, it was entirely possible, but what came next might lead one to skepticism, "Ya see, me an' Casey were out on the open seas," He said, gesticulating with an open palm out in front of him, "There was a white whale, said to've swallowed some valuable gems, or somethin'... Not important, since it turned out to be a load'a crap. But the hunt cost him his arm."
Ivan nodded knowingly before flashing an apologetic look at Casey(possibly for calling the story of him losing his arm a funny one). Speaking of which, wasn't that from a book?

Jack was glad to see Casey was able to deal with the robots with no real problem, especially given she knew that her six shooters wouldn't have the same effect. She hopped down from the rack, landing with a flutter of her wings beside the slow loris. She ignored the hare with a roll of her eyes, at least it was pretty obvious when he was lying.
"Ya alright?" She asked the girl, her hands coming to rest on her belts, which she had to wear two now because one with both guns would pull her pants down. "Ya seem-," Jack almost said bored, but it couldn't be that, she had arrived on a whale shaped airship via rocket powered hang glider."...like somethin's eatin' at ya."
Jack didn't know enough about the girl or what her story was to really guess what she was feeling, but that didn't mean the sympathetic griffin wasn't going to try her best to understand.

Pax didn't nearly leap out of his skin again at the sudden appearance of a panda behind him, now that he didn't have to actively worry about hiding from robotic sentries. The dog didn't stop for a moment, he just kept tapping away at the PDA, cycling through menus and windows and programs as he examined the keypad's sides. "Hope there's a port, don't wanna spend an hour trying to rewire this thing," he muttered under his breath. It was delayed, but he did respond to Fenn's comment. "Eh, no offense, but whatever you got probably isn't as good as this little number," he said, lifting the device up a bit for the mechanist to see. "Top-of-the-line GUN hardware and software...plus a few of my own adjustments. Data uplink, modem interface, scanning tools and UV light, built-in camera...and it's a pretty handy organizer too. Also a phone." Paxton didn't hide his beaming smile as he went over the PDA's specs and features, looking quite proud of the versatile tool. "Kinda wish it had a flashlight too, though," he added under his breath.
The agent resumed looking over the security devices in front of him, intention searching for some kind of access port, running his fingers across the metal surfaces for any kind of latch or hinge. Soon enough, he whispered to himself with excitement, "Aha, think I found it...!"
Avatar's comment got her an unamused glare from the wolverine. She narrowed her eyes at the girl and crossed her arms. "Maybe instead, I could break your arm off, and he can build one for you--then I could steal it," she replied coldly, though there was a hint of a smirk forming at the corners of her mouth.

Seeing as the griffen left after her comment, Desmond was left to assume that the girl was being rhetoric. Trying to comprehend it also seemed to hard as the ferret simply threw his hands in the air and continued walking.
Being the last on to enter the dock, Desmond didn't that much time to see Casey's show of firepower on the watch-bots. Still, he always found weaponry impressive, and finally able to see the hog use his arm for it's lethal purpose left the ferret a bit awestruck as the firing ceased and the room finally quieted down. As everyone settled down from the "light show" Desmond's began to scout for anything or anyone who may have noticed the robotic remains and would attempt on setting the ship on full alert.

With all the hubbub going on around his arm, Casey wasn't sure whether to feel flattered or... something less pleasant. Ivan's story seemed to get a laugh out of him, though.
"For the record? This rabbit?" he said with a point at Ivan. "Full'a crap."
It was all in good humor. He plodded up next Pax and looked at the door, and immediately shifted into impatient mode. It wasn't impatience for the sake of impatience, though—they really needed to move faster.
"C'mon, let's pick up the pace. I'm sure they got cameras in here somewhere," he added anxiously.

The corners of the little porter girl's mouth tugged downward in concert with her brows and upper eyelids, while the lower ones edged upward.
She regarded the former sheriff in baffled silence for a moment before slowly shaking her head as she brushed at each of her arms, and threw a searching glance over her shoulder.
"I am looked, but not found with the parasites, I don't think."
But she double-checked, just to be sure.
"Yes," she nodded, a tangible note of relief in her voice, as well as her relaxing features. "I am not being eaten."

Getting the door open actually wasn't all that difficult. It turned out to be an utterly basic form of security, not entirely different from a hotel keycard reader in its sophistication, only improved in the length and complexity of the code used. Chimera hadn't yet retrofitted it with anything better, so it still had what Eggman had equipped it with, and, frankly, Eggman was used to his enemies just blasting through doors with a big, spiky fist, or a ball of fast-moving quills. Time spent on elaborate security measures on his airships was really just time wasted, usually. On the other side, as the group continued forward and entered, they'd find no robotic opposition just yet. Instead, there was a metal walkway that led through a tunnel of pipes, wiring, and all kinds of other inelegant guts and internals. It was reasonably spacious, but not huge. Perhaps what was most interesting was how everything, including the grated platform they walked on, seemed to have moving joints—areas where it was connected by rubber and hinges and all sorts of other things, with big pistons (both hydraulic and pneumatic in some spaces), as if the entire corridor was made to move or flex in some way... Surprise! They soon found out why as they continued forward. Either there were cameras, or they had taken just a little too long, because yellow lights began spinning, a klaxon sounded, and the entire corridor began to flail violently. They were inside the shaft of the orca's tail, and, much like the creature it emulated, it was able to bend and flex, and whip its tail. And it did. Just because things hadn't gotten bad enough yet, the craft must have begun diving from its great altitude, because in the midst of all the confusing, undulating motion, the sensation of gravity departed, leaving everyone to just float there in the hallway that seemed intent on beating them to death. They'd have to kick off of things, or grab features of the wall and pull in order to keep moving forward, and not get sucked back out the door they had just left (and, by extension, into open air). Eventually, they'd find some salvation ahead in the form of a fixed, non-thrashing chamber, but only if they could make it past the loose cargo and tumbling Kiki robots flying by, which seemed just as confused as they did. Yes, crates and loose robots were also flopping past them (and into them, if they weren't quick to dodge). Things could always get worse.

"One - I'd like to see you try, and two - You wouldn't need one of those if you had bo-" The piranha's reply to Tyra was cut short but the yellow lights and the alarm. Soon followed by the flailing ship, the lack of proper gravity, and the flying crates and robots.
Being a little too close to the wall, Avatar - who was just getting over the fact that the ship was diving, and she was floating - was hit by the now moving launch bay. With a quiet 'Oof', the fish was hit just hard enough to get knocked into the wolverine who she was standing - now floating - beside.
"Ugh." Avatar grunted, using her tail to move herself away from the others, and the wall. The fish grabbed onto the nearest belted down object and looked toward the flying obstacles. "Yo! We gonna get flattened if we hang around here!"

Geoff at least managed to share a chuckle with Casey upon the storytelling, being in what one could a substantially better mood than that morning. Whether it simply was him trying to cool his nerves or his mind outright trying to block out all that had happened in the last twenty-four hours, he himself wasn't too sure. No matter the case, and despite the potential danger, the hedgehog found content with pursuing their mission, finding a partial peace in the distraction.
Well, until the floor was jerked from under his feet.
"Hwhooaa-"
Urgency kicked in immediately, limbs preemptively flailing the second he went airborne. The lack of gravity was sudden, but these weren't new waters for him; he was all too familiar with the feeling of weightlessness. So, when one of the thrashing walls came closing in, the hedgehog's feet were there to meet it, kicking off a pipe with a two legged leap, gliding through the empty space. One Kiki being slapped aside later, he slammed back into the grated walkway that had supported him only seconds before, now his saving grace as his hands dug in and began to scramble up.
Having been near the front of the pack, people weren't necessarily a major obstacle, but that didn't stop the crates. There were some close calls as he climbed, nearly being ripped away from his 'ladder' when one slammed into his shoulder. Teeth were gritted and Geoff prevailed with a cringe and a clench of his fingers. A moment later, though, he was offering quick glances down in attempts to clarify the rest of the group was faring okay, reaching down a hand to whoever could reach it to give them a heavy pull up towards what could qualify as the safe-zone.

Well, if things weren't already exciting enough. Suddenly, the very room was shaking violently beneath their feet, and within seconds, it seems like nothing was underneath them at all. Thinking about as fast as the hedgehog did, Fenn immediately kicked off the first solid surface his feet came into contact with, hurling himself towards one of the many pipes lining the walls. The moment he was within reach, the panda grasped arms around the bulky structure, trying to gauge just what to do next.
He did realize amidst the clamour that Geoff had made it the farthest out of everybody, and made it a personal mission to get to that hedgehog. The climb wasn't that easy, though, as Fenn faced the same issues the others were having to deal with -- primarily, troublesome crates and random robots flying around through the whole room. The panda almost yelped once or twice as he occasionally had to swing to the side or even attempt to leap to a neighboring pipe to escape getting thwacked with an unpleasant piece of scrap. Despite the struggles, he was actually doing pretty well.
And soon enough, with a rather dangerous leap-o'-faith (aided by one final kick off the side of the pipe he'd been climbing), he landed beside the hedgehog and held fast to the grating, reaching into his coat. Fenn pulled out what had appeared to be a grappling hook attached to a rather lengthy strand of rope, quickly latching it onto the walkway before throwing the literal lifeline down towards anybody who was still having trouble making their way up.
"One of my saving graces for my usual jobs!" He looked to Geoff with a wide-eyed smile that seemed to convey a sense of 'I'm helping!' "Should be strong enough to support the lot of them if they can catch it in this mess!"
Surely they wouldn't have trouble catching the rope though, right? After all, they did just learn how to rocket hang-glide. What else could be beyond them?

Circumstances like these weren't the best to be a... heavy guy in. Not only was it hard enough to maneuver with only one arm, but, dodging crap that was tumbling around the interior of the ship, too? Forget it. That Kiki just plain beaned Casey in the head and glanced off.
"Fghgn!"
He didn't have time to complain, hanging on as best he could to the grate, much like Geoff. However, his... hands were a bit too thick, really, and he ended up failing to hold the thin slats of metal, and went tumbling through zero-G freefall awkwardly.
Suddenly, a rope! He reached out to grab it. He immediately found himself turned into the rubber ball of a ball-and-paddle toy, bouncing off walls and flailing all over the corridor on the end of a tether.
"HOOF." "HURGH." "DAH!" "HOONGH."
He let go of the rope after it swung him gut-first into a hydraulic piston's rod, and sufficed to flop around in a daze.

The group's de jure leader was not expecting the ship to engage in such a rapid descent, let alone seemingly come to life and try to kill them all. The moment of weightless was a curious moment for Pax, but it was cut short when he found himself being slammed against the metal wall of the corridor and sent flying over to the other side, where he gracelessly collided with a jutting pipe, which he reflexively wrapped his arms around. He ached from the sudden wham, and had to sit there for a moment to regain his bearings. "Gghh..."
The wolverine's reaction was just as overwhelmed and disoriented, and also much higher in volume. "Whaaa--ooohhhHHHOOOLLY@#$%ING&%$#OHMYGOD@#$%GUUUAAAAHHHH!!" The wolverine's apparent acrophobia did not mesh well with getting smacked by a flying fish, suddenly weighing nothing, and being tossed to and fro like a cheap toy. Flailing for anything to latch on, the first thing she gripped was the grated flooring, which she dug her fingers into with a vice-grip. Jaw clenched and eyes wide with panic, she stared straight ahead at the others slowly climbing their way up. As soon as Fenn dropped the rope, she shot a hand out to snatch it, and began dragging herself forward, oblivious to the situation of anyone she passed.
A Kiki bot flew at her head. Reflexively, she swung a fist at it, sending it flying off and bouncing around the corridor like a pinball.
