Jack of all people ended up being the last to land on the deck, whilst doing so she was loading more rounds into her guns. She looked around at the group. Everyone seemed alright, in spite of the poor landings and robotic complications.
"Remember ta keep it down, we're tryin' ta be stealthy here." Jack said as she walked towards the open hatch, holstering her weapons. But she stopped mid step turning to face the ferret her eyes narrowing. "That means no grenades."

Characters: - • Tyra • Pax
Rings:3
Tyra stood next to the completely popped Pawn that Geoff had smashed through like a buzzsaw, shaking her hand a bit but not looking bothered by it. Still, she glared at the pile of junk that used to be a robot. "Li'l jerks are tougher than I remembered," she muttered irately under her breath.
She turned to face Jack when the griffin brought up the "stealth" element--one that she herself hadn't quite followed earlier. "Y'know," she said to the former sheriff, "stealth isn't so important if we can just smash the crap outta everything on this floating junk heap. I mean, if the government bean counter guy was right, they can't really talk much to each other. So why not just roll up an' scrap 'em all bit by bit?"
Down below, Paxton almost had a heart attack when he landed and saw the veritable platoon of robots, before he recognized that they were deactivated and not immediately reducing him to a pile of ash. Still, he had to stop and catch his breath and calm his nerves for a moment, until he saw the two Pawn sentries by the large metal door. Flipping back into Secret Agent Mode, Pax took cover next to one of the racks of bots, peering around the corner at the two guards.
Two guards, Egg Pawn models. Low-level grunts compared to other parts of Eggman's arsenal; doubt the new management altered them too much. They should not be very intelligent. If I had a coin or a bolt or something for a distraction, maybe--no, that door is probably locked. I can either get rid of the guards, or look for an alternate path. As he thought about his next plan of action, his eyes strayed across the bay, trying to pick out anything notable or potentially useful.
"Great, you guys took down some lame robots. Hope you're pleased." Avatar commented after watching the efforts of the five. She was quite obviously bitter that she hadn't gotten to help, even though she knew that there would be much more to come. "Now, perhaps, we should find that dog, considerin' he ran off on his own - not to mention he's supposed to be the leader. This ain't the best place to be found alone, considerin' the whole 'enemy territory' thing."

It took Casey a second (or fifteen) to get his bearings and get himself loose from the flying contraption that had carried him aboard. He soon got on his feet, head still spinning from the high-octane belly flop, and stagger-jogged over to where the others were.
"What're we standin' around in the open for?!" he whisper-shouted. "If he ain't out here, he's inside! Keep up!"
He went jogging off toward where he presumed their canine commander had gone, into the open launch bay, all the while striving to be as stealthy as a big guy like him could.

Just in case this may be useful... Egg Pawn! We're leaning toward the original incarnation, where they were on the tough and slow side. Also, sorry Jack's enemies were forgotten about, Rach. This is a lot to NPC. That said, you guys can venture to post damage on enemies (especially the lightweight, flying ones), but just try to respect the heft and toughness of the bulkier foes.
Neither of the robots had noticed Pax yet. The dog's survey of the environment sadly turned up little save for two panels: One embedded in the wall next to the door, with keypad, card slot, and VFD screen (presumably the door control and lock), and another right next to one of the Egg Pawns, mounted on a pedestal, with a big, red button surrounded by yellow-and-black striped paint. Red text on the side clearly said "ALARM!" Yes, exclamation point included. Aside from that, like most Eggman-built craft, there was a lot of exposed machinery, with similar caution strips, stenciled numbers, and big, bolted panels, but nothing else that looked too immediately important, save for some tool chests here and there, if Pax was still looking for something to throw.
This corridor entrance must have been the place where the ship narrowed down into the thinner body of the Orca's "tail." Chances were if they wanted to get to the front of the ship, they'd either have to traverse the top of the outside of the airship (which was treacherous, and not made to be walked on, but also not currently haunted by any Egg Pawns or other walking robots), or brave the unknown, alarm-equipped inside. This was Pax's point to decide; he could still quickly go back outside with impunity, or he could try his chances with the interior.

Characters: - • Jam • Tabitha • Latika
Rings:13
Seeing that her comrades were sufficiently competent to remove the threat of their welcoming committee without her, Latika fell back after her first hit, re-coiling her rope, yet keeping it in hand just in case. Unlike her more zealous coworkers, she derived no particular entertainment from dispatching the mechanical men, and thus had simply been scanning the coast when Pax made his mind-bogglingly suave exit to cover.
Glancing both left and right, it seemed as though everyone else was busy with something, be it landing or dealing with the locals, or else, just... being someone Latika didn't particularly enjoy the company of, so, without a word to any of her teammates, the porter broke off from the group and followed the agent. Her head fell to a cant as she watched the canine deliberate, and she sunk low, making note of his apparent desire to not be seen by the two guards.
Hopefully, Pax wasn't the jumpy sort, because she really did come out of nowhere:
Taking a glance over at the ex-sheriff as he followed behind, Desmond took notice of her stern glare of disapproval. And as if trying to confirm who she was talking to, he gazed right back, giving the griffen his full attention if needed. "Don't worry" he stated monotonously, "I left those behind in the city or someplace. So no need to worry about any bang or boom from me well more so of boom but yeah...." Breaking eye contact he went back to what he was initially completing.
Finishing his preparations, the ferret slid the pistol back into its holster and checked his knives, though unsure if he even needed them in the first place. Passing inspections he placed them back in there side holsters with a slight push. With a lengthy sigh, Desmond looked back over to the sheriff, giving a grieved expression as he quickly apologized. "I'm sorry" he quickly blurted, unsure if the griffen paid heed to his apology.
Taking the initiative to be as quiet as possible, Desmond slowly inched his way in without making as much as another sound.

Seeing as everybody appeared to be present, the panda adjusted the goggles upon his forehead as he followed Casey with haste, making little noise with each footfall as he brought himself right up alongside the big guy, wearing quite the grin.
"I think your landing was my favorite. 9.5, 9.8 tops."

Once the deck was significantly less hostile, Ivan looked around for Pax as well once the boar made note that he was missing. It seemed like the only place he could have gone was into the launch bay. Ivan headed down as well, trying to maintain some level of stealth as he slunk down into the Orca's frame.

Jack didn't wait for Desmond's response, both it an his apology were too late because she slipped into the hatch, flying in without a sound, she landed on some of the scaffolding that held the rows and rows of inactive drones. She was sure to keep a drone between herself and the guards as she took a look around.
It was no wonder GUN was struggling with Chimera, they had a devastating arsenal. Frowning she looked down at the group then over again. This... wasn't going to work. Jack just knew they wouldn't be getting out of this room without setting that alarm off.

Geoff landed with a dull thump of rock against metal, his spin ceasing the moment he felt a total lack of resistance. He actually held an air of amusement when he saw the scattered remains of his target, having not expected such a result, stowing away the style of attack in some corner of his mind for another potential use if the situation rose again. Perhaps it was just the way of the hedgehog guiding him.
Not long after, the quilled rock-bearer was soon to follow suit with the entry into the ship, reeling back physically the minute his feet touched the floor. Just like Pax before him, he was instantly alert from the sight of the army of machines waiting for them down below, remaining on guard even when their deactivation came to light. Soon enough, he too was sharing thoughts of the griffin lurking above after one quick glance around past the wall of robots. Yet, they were already inside, and who knows what clamor would occur in an attempt to leave. Surely more chaotic than their arrival.
A moment later, he was crouched right behind their leading GUN agent, muttering as quietly as possible.
"You sure about this plan? Nothin' was in our way up there, from the looks of it. Rather take on some wind than this ticking bomb."

Pax proved to be the jumpy type after all: Latika's sudden appearance and query sent the canine almost leaping away from his crouched position. Only last-second flailing let him catch himself before he lost balance and fell right out into the open, which would have blown their cover terribly. Paxton quietly righted himself and looked at the loris, almost bug-eyed and practically hyperventilating. He raised an unsteady finger and whispered to her with an almost scolding tone, "Don't sneak up on people like that."
The agent peered past Latika at the following members of their 'spec ops' group. He did his best to motion to everyone to lay low and quiet, pointing out the two robotic guards at the other end of the bay.
When Geoff approached him, Pax looked at the hedgehog before shifting his head down in a thoughtful pose. "OK, I...am thinking about how to handle this," he continued to whisper, trying to let others hear without revealing himself. "If we can take out both of those guards before they hit that button, we can go through the door and work our way through the interior of the ship and to the bridge, might be less security that way. And a lot less visibility; if there was anything on the bridge, they probably would have seen us coming, and I'd rather not risk someone falling off the side because of an unlucky, I dunno, explosion or something."
He looked up at Jack and Casey, glancing between them. "Any chance you two can shoot them down at the same time? I'm not sure if there's anything else around that could hear us, but I think it's a better bet than trying to punch them out before they hit that alarm...unless gunshots would wake these things up." The dog jerked his head at the racks upon racks of robots to emphasize his last comment, an uneasy look on his face.

"Aah haah haah," nasal and sarcastic, was all Casey said in response to Fenn's remark. The hint of a smile was all the indication the panda would get that he wasn't actually upset, though.
Now, when Pax brought up a plan of action, Casey was happy to oblige. "Can do, boss," he said as he raised his gunarm and prepared to take action. Before he did anything, though, he quickly added: "Save yer bullets, Sheriff—I'm fully automatic."
Chances were that Jack's revolver would have taken too many shots for a quick kill on a robot of that size, anyway. It worked out; much like during their visit to Li Fang's hideout, Casey had a flexible feed leading to a backpack filled with belted ammunition (albeit a much more lightly-packed one this time, owing to his need to keep weight low on the glider). Without any further ado, he stepped out, leveled his sights, and...
*PUM-PUM-PUM-PUM-PUM-PUM....*
Well, it got really loud in there. The contents of both robots soon found itself thrown all over the armored door in a clattering, jangling mess. Once the hangar ceased to sound like a few muscly guys having a sledgehammer-noisemaking contest, the smell of gunsmoke and burning electronics, two spinning rings, and a crunchy layer of parts and bullet-riddled armor panels on the floor became their legacy. That, and tinnitus for all the witnesses.

"...hah."
Having only been a witness to Casey's weapon a select number of times, Geoff had yet to ever see the conclusion of a successful spree of gunfire other than warning shots and spray-and-prays. Seeing the broken mess that were the Egg Pawns after such firepower couldn't help but stir some spectator-level gratification from the hedgehog. His amusement even warded off any attention given to the consistent ringing now plaguing his ears.
"Well, glad I'm on your side," he stated almost casually, standing a bit straighter as he observed the wreckage before pointedly staring at the boar's weapon. "...still not sure if I want to know the story behind that thing, though."

Latika seemed markedly unapologetic about having nearly startled Pax into an early grave (be it by cardiac arrest or by scream-induced firing squad), despite a mumbled "I am sorry," as she slipped past.
With half-hearted shrug, she shuffled to the back of the pack just as Casey stepped forward; she knew the implications of him being up to bat, and promptly sunk into a compact little crouch with both hands over her ears.
When all was said and done, she rose to a standing position, swatted the dust from her pants (more for mental purposes than practical ones), and glanced expectantly to the door.
"We go through there?" she asked. "Not is restriction access?"
