When his bout of momentary rambling had ceased, Green was content to merely stand in place, but when the punch-colored primate closed the distance between them, his upper body lurched back what must have been about a centimeter--just enough for him to show the sudden lack of space had been unforeseen, but not enough for him to openly be discouraging it. For the most part, he was, as ever, a big metallic statue, even when she turned the majority of her fist into fractured shards (it barely even jostled him, nor did it really draw a reaction, other than a tiny glance at the offending hand that may or may not have still looked like a hand). "Yes," he said as she began making her exit, "sor--yes. Of course." He said nothing else. It wasn't until she had disappeared out of sight that General Green relaxed slightly, which may have seemed peculiar considering he had no muscles of which to tense. Yet he had been tense anyway, as if his Intellidrive was demanding it of him. Despite the various weapons and gadgets with which to amuse himself, the room gave an impression of emptiness more prevalent than appearance suggested. He resumed his place on the red couch, sat for several seconds, and shut the TV off. "Feh." He sat in that position for a while. |
