It seems that she'd heard enough. Her expression softened into something more...sad and anxious. "...Uh...thanks," she stammered after a long moment of silence and staring at the floor between her shoes. Slipping her hands in her pants pockets, she began to slowly trudge off. |

Jack frowned a bit, glancing at the poster once more before turning to Ace. She watched the feline sadly a moment, it sounded like he was intent on poking the proverbial hornets nest. Her look of concern didn't waver when Jack looked to the wolverine. Clearly there was something to the news Ace had given her. Jack just couldn't let the girl go like that, even though she barley knew her. "Tyra, right? Ya alright?" Jack asked in a gentle tone, hopeful she could be of some help to the troubled girl. |

The wolverine stopped. At first she merely mumbled some words, nervously rubbing at the back of her neck. After a moment, however, she did turn to face the griffin, looking nearly despondent. "Y-yeah...I'm, uh, I'm alright," she lied. "Just, um...wondering what to do now..." Tyra seemed intent on staring at the floor rather than looking anyone in the eyes. Paxton had sat back and quietly watched the exchange, but now he started to look a bit fidgety and awkward, a distressed frown on his face. "Hmm..." |

There didn't seem much that Ace could do beyond follow Pax's lead. It all but confirmed his suspicions, but what could he do now besides quietly grimace while her eyes weren't focused on him for once? It was obviously not the answer she wanted to her very insistent questions, and even though it cast a great deal of suspicion on her... how could he cast aside a woman downtrodden? Maybe he was just a sucker for a pretty face, but Ace never liked seeing women hurt. With one last inaudible sigh, he spoke out. "Hey, listen... I'm sorry if that's not what you wanted to hear. But you can still hang out with us until you figure somethin' out. I'm sure the hotel as enough beds for you too." |

Tyra peered up at Ace for a moment, head bowed and shoulders slouched like a weight was crushing her down. She looked back down and kept quietly frowning as she considered what he had said. She sharply breathed in after a moment of silence and replied, "I guess... I don't think I can go back home yet anyway, so..." The wolverine straightened up a bit, though she still looked deeply disturbed. But she wasn't getting any lower, at the very least. "...So," Pax spoke up, trying to break the tension in the air, "what time does everyone want to leave for the concert? We could head out now if everyone likes." |

A smirk crept across Jack's features as Ace couldn't help his bleeding heart. Jack put a hand on the girls back, giving it a gentle pat as she offered a smile and a attempt to cheer the girl. "At least ya wont get bored stickin' around." Jack offered. "I reckon we're about ready ta go." She added looking to the GUN agent. She knew why they where going to the concert; finding/starting trouble was a talent for this group. One they where getting ready to exercise. |
