Emerald Town is a sprawling, peaceful, rural suburb at the southern-central end of the island, speckled with forest, quaint cottages, and the occasional shop. It's considered part of the Green Hill region. Not a terribly far drive from Spring City or Grand Metropolis via Route 99.

A long highway that spans most of South Island, runs all along the southern coast's beaches, past Emerald Town, and stretches to the west across the channel to Central City.

Spring City is a moderately-sized, extremely clean and well-kempt city known for its numerous parks full of dense natural foliage and... springs, for some reason. (Spring City is home to Spring Yard, hence its name.) Located approximately at the center of South Island, at the foot of the mountains.

Located at extreme altitudes on a high mountain plateau, Starlight City is a tightly-packed, highly urbanized, extremely dense city of tower skyscrapers. The only way besides plane or helicopter to reach Starlight City is the Sky Rail. Located north of Spring City. (Starlight City is based off of Star Light Zone.)

Including the Marble Mountains (Marble Zone), the Labyrinth, Scrap Brain Zone, and any other completely unsettled portions of South Island, as well as the rivers, ocean, etc.

Flat and arid, Yellow Desert lies on the west end of South Island, standing between Gigalopolis and Spring City. The desert, a mix of rocky flats and rolling dunes in some areas, is home to a small town, an airbase, Pumpkin Hill, and an old, defunct portion of the Sky Rail. There's also a strange pyramid somewhere out there in the desert's eastern dunes.
